- Being someone who doesn't have a young child myself (or can't borrow one), going to Adults Night at LEGOLand Discovery Center is the only way to see what's inside! Spoiler: we had a BLAST!
The Master Builder (Thaddeus) at the Grapevine/Dallas LEGOLand Discovery Center was one of the most BRICKTASTIC people I've met so far in the LEGO world!

These events happen quarterly I believe and it was well worth the $13-ish dollars per person it cost. They have a few fun games, you get to meet other AFOLs, and they send you home with bunches of fun LEGO goodies! Because we knew Thad through the LEGO community, he was able to show us around his Master Builder workshop, talk about what types of builds he does (and how he does them!), and even walk us through Miniland for an in-depth tour. Stay til the end to see our sigfigs in Miniland!

awesome vlog!!! Love these videos Emily! And great costume for u and Ross. Legoland rocks! The master builder is so nice and personal. Wish I can attend adult night. Have been once with my son on a normal day but it was an interstate trip. And legoland once in Billund but that was still my dark ages so didn’t appreciate it as much as I would now.

Did Thaddeus know you were coming ahead or was your sigfig mural done on the spot? Either way, pretty impressive! You should place it on the wall behind you in the lego office so that it’s visible on most of your videos 😊
He knew ahead of time, but he let us pick out where to place our sigfigs and he climbed into mini land to place them for us on the spot! He was fantastic! Yeah I need to find a good spot for the mural for sure 😀
