I have looked for this score since I was TEN YEARS OLD. Im 43 now and this brought some serious tears to the eyes. Miss when they used to make things with so much SOUL in this country. THANK YOU!!!!
S A Storyteller Wow. Yeah these scores for some reason were hard to find. Speaking of soul. A Terrible Sight really got me. I can’t believe how much sadness it got out of me for Frosty being melted!
I’m glad this is the only special that we can listen to the music from, because I watched this all the time years ago, but hardly ever watched Rudolph. I know many people want the Rudolph soundtrack, and I really hope we get it someday, but for now I’m happy with just this one.
A Terrible Sight hits me in the feels. That was genuinely a sad emotional piece, and moment.

So he said "let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away"
I used to watch this short on repeat every Christmas, I think there was one night where I watched it 3 times in a row. As a kid, I adored this short so much, and I still love it today, classic.
Professor Hinkle is also the goofiest villain ever and stuff.

I shupposhe it all shtarted with the shnow. You shee, it was a very shpecial kind of shnow. A shnow dat'll make da happy happy, and the giddy, even giddier. A shnow dat'll make a homecoming homier, and natural enemiesh, friendsh. Naturally, hehe. For it was the fiwsht shnow of the sheashon. Ash any child can tell you, der's a cewtain magic to da very firsht shnow. Espeshially when it fallsh on the day before Chrishmas. For when the firsht shnow is also christmas snow, haha, well, shomething wonderful ish bound to happen.

Been trying to complete Rudolph for the last 20 years, but the BluRay soundtrack is mono. So I cannot extract any instrumentals.

Despite Rudolph’s Blu-Ray not being in stereo, I believe the Blu-Ray to The Year Without A Santa Claus is. That disc also included Nester and Rudolph’s Shiny New Year as well. Perhaps we could get the scores to those three films?

Narrator: And now it was Frosty's good fortune that right at the bottom of the hill was a tiny greenhouse used to grow precious tropical poinsettias for Christmas!
Professor Hinkle wasn't able to catch Frosty and Karen when they were sliding but when Frosty and Karen got inside the greenhouse he caught them

@@spetragl Perhaps, I wasn't specific enough, in the original short, when Mr. Hnkle said in an ashamed way, "Messy, messy, messy. :(" there were these brass cues that played when he said that, or were those brass solos supposed to represent the children's disappointment, in the Russian dub, I've heard the same solos, perhaps they were in another sound channel?
On this You-tube video, the brass notes appear at 1:04 or so on both Lf, Rf and Ls, Rs channels.
Since Karen is Frosty's human companion i wonder who crystal's would be 🤔
