Very impressive I commend you, the use of minimum of tools indicates the skills you posses, keep going, get a lathe and mill and there's no telling what you could produce
Giulia Nagero PLEASE!!! it is a tattoo MACHINE!!! NOT a tattoo GUN!!! you would say "sewing machine" not "sewing gun", right? they are very similar in the fact that neither shoot anything out of them... Giulia Nagerohe needles move very much the same way... OUT and then back IN! Understand? like a Jackhammer... which is never referred to as a "JackHammer GUN"!!! See the pattern here?!?! I know its hard to get used to the change, but you will sound a lot more informed and like you know what your talking about, if you just use the term "MACHINE" rather than "GUN". (especially when talking to people in the "tattooing world" or to tattoo artists themselves... good luck!
it seems like being a vital importance for you. Even if I would suggest you to come down a bit when trying to show as expert or informed person, other whise people wan't listen to you anyway, personally I am not that interest of knows what someone has to say when writing me with a lot of nasty effort and between, I am not talking as a expert AT ALL infact I know very little about tathoo. GUN has been used talking about tathoo machine, as a slang so basically I really do not give a dam about "sounding more expert" with people, and Thanks any way for your really unusefull instructions, but you probably sound an expert because of that ;D good luck to you
I think the language barrier (or difference) and through writing, not speaking. My message to you may have sounded "nasty" to you. This was not my intention. I had the impression that English may not be your first language. I was just trying to explain clearly and be helpful. I may have seemed a bit annoyed because, being a tattoo artist myself, this issue comes up often (in any language) and it is a sort of "pet peeve" of a lot of us in the tattoo industry. I am sorry that I offended you. I will try to be more mindful of this in the future. Thank you.
You did well to clarify about correct terminology.. I am not a tathoo artist, so I definitly trust what you said, yes is also not my first language and I learn it by the "street", so that maybe I do not have a clue of different tone of voice :) I often heard about "Gun" when talking about tathoo machine, in fact I used this term as I was veteran out of a self-culture about jail tathoo,on You tube, where I heard this term very often :D Take care!
ok so for those of you that dont know a thing about traditional tat builds, here goes, this guy completely hand made the frame of this and added pre-made hardware, most importantly its a reverse style which means the pivot design is re-arranged causing it to function completely different then common builds. this version is a mess, weight is 10x that of a normal machine, the connections are shitty, shoulda used a drill press, and trying to set up a needle and tube with any type of real stroke is imposs.
Mad props man great work true build at its best and true heart for the art keep up the great work love that build
