Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse in Mexico. They just finished 18 shows on the US leg of their world tour and are now in Europe. They just finished concerts in Plymouth (opening for Muse), London and Berlin. They will be opening for Muse four more times in the UK and France and headlining in Spain among others. They will open for Guns N’ Roses in September and also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall.
They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey.
They started as a cover band and now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single already performed live released officially May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.
When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.

The Warning are all about telling stories with their songs. Far too often these days, it is all about the shredding of guitars and how loud a band can play. These 3 sisters write lyrics providing their views of today's crazy world and they deliver the story with their own unique style of rock, which I find has an infectious sound.
They are an incredibly awesome sounding band that I look forward to checking out more of for sure!
A big reason for their unexpected power as a trio is the fact thier bass player (Ale) constantly adjusts her style of playing depending on what the guitarist is doing. She's only 17 in this video (turned 18 in December) but has been playing bass since she was 7, and became the youngest official Spector Bass artist when she was only 13. I was made aware of these sisters in 2018, and have been a Patron if theirs ever since. They are a world class live band. They alone are worth the price of admission to any bill, whether they are headlining or opening for a legacy band.
Lzzy Hale described them as “tiny but fierce. They assault an audience like no young band I have seen in a while”. Its the perfect description if The Warning. They will leave you transfixed when you first see them. Whatever it takes, see them live!

Really good point you make about feeling comfortable with a song very quickly that on first listen you think you should know the words already. They are really good about writing songs that do that to you. Great hooks.
If you want to do more, I might consider taking a three video journey.
1) Their cover of Enter Sandman when they were little kids from 2014 (this got them recognized and now has ~25M views). then,
2) The official music video of the new take on Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara (written, recorded, and produced in only one week) for Metallica's Blacklist album, then finish with
3) The Warning's live performance of ES at this same Teatro Metropolitan concert.
This would give you a good idea where they started and where they are today.
That is the "correct" way to recommend "Enter Sandman" by The Warning. There's no reason to skip the OMV when recommending -- except for self-interest. Thanks.

The contrast between the OMV and the Teatro performance also gives you some idea how they are live. Yes, I agree with others that the place to see them is live. I have yet to hear an audience (big or small) that does not light up when The Warning perform this new version.
@@oldmanyeni1663 Yes. Collaborating with Alessia Cara gave their career ascension a huge boost, and the end product was an amazing tour de force. They always give credit to Alessia for being part of the song -- and so do I. It's also about respect.
Nice reaction. The great thing about The Warning is that their whole journey is captured on You Tube. Their parents started them on classical piano lessons, and the girls (Dany, the guitarists and Pau the drummer) Ale the bassist was to young but eventually learned the same things as her older sisters. Now all three can play piano and they are all great. Their father bought them the Rock Band video game and as Dany says, that was it, they wouldn't stop playing that game, Dany picked the guitar and Pau choose the drums, Ale was still to young to play but she sat by her sisters and clapped her hands. To this day they credit that game, along with Pablo Gonzales (Ale's bass teacher) for making them the Rockstars of today.

DO NOT miss a chance to see The Warning LIVE!! I have seen them 4 times in the last year and they will absolutely knock you over with the WALL of sound they throw at you! Watching them live is like watching birds fly or fish swim. It's what they were born to do! On top of their incredible musical and songwriting talent, they are three of the sweetest young ladies you could ever hope to meet. That is the reason their fans are diehard for life!
Welcome to The Warning! They have five (5) additional video releases from this show and i would suggest that those are a great way to start your journey. I would recommend that you do Disciple from this show next. You can get to Martirio, Money, Animosity, and their re-arrangement of Enter Sandman that they did for the Blacklist album in any order you like.
Welcome to The Warning Army...I was at Rockville best 30 minutes of music I ever experienced....the ladies attack the audience that had entire audience clapping and sing the entire 30 minutes...next year I'm sure they will have better time slot.

Disciple is a song I hope you check out. It really showcases all three ladies. A song with a message, Ale's killer bass line, The harmonies of all three, The duet between Dany and Pau, the great fills on the drums and the melodic guitar riffs. These three wonderful ladies are great role models as well. They have family values and have surrounded themselves with a great team. Great 1st time reaction to The Warning!
The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track -

The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter, they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers; and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released 47 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Just saw them at Rockville, huge crowd main stage, they killed it❤🤘 seen them 3 times, once in a small venue in Tampa a year ago, met them and their team, they are the humblest group of ladies, who treat their fans as family. Currently touring Europe and UK, opening for Muse, Royal Blood and others, multiple festivals. So far, they already sold out 4 Headling shows in 3 countries, UK Germany and Spain.🤘😁👍🔥

You will definitely get a good dose of the Warning moving forward. They are easily one of the best rock trios on the planet and are finally getting the traction they deserve. The pandemic threw them off their schedule and tours were canceled but they’ve been at it relentlessly for the past 18 months. Three solid albums of brilliant originals and enough energy to light up a city. Thanks for checking them out.
The girls opened for G'n'R last October in their hometown of Monterrey, MX and evidentally made a huge impression if they were able to snag a couple more openers here in the US. It's one thing for a local band to regularly open for big acts touring in Mexico, but it's an entirely different honor to be invited to open for a legendary band in their home country. This band has so many freakin' great live performances and some pretty awesome official music videos as well. Honestly not a bad song in their nearly 50 song catalog of originals. They also have some nice cover performances as well. All documented from when they were just kids/teens up to now. Many hundreds of fan created videos all over RUclips. Great musicians and song writers. They're also pretty cool humans. I hope you'll be doing more real soon. Fair warning though, these ladies are hyper addictive. Peace! 🤘

@@TheKillogicEffect LOL! There are interviews when the host asked What is up with your fanbase? " We are avid fans that love to support these ladies because they are humble and kind people. We try to give them as much exposure as we can because, unlike many bands, we have been there from the start and think of them as nieces, daughters, and generally seen them grow as humans and musicians for the past ten years.
Thank you TKE for reacting to The Warning. The Villarreal sisters don't make overly complicated music (it's just not their style), but what they do, they do extraordinarily well. They all sing. The lead singer, Dany, is an excellent singer and frontwoman, but also the drummer, Pau is an excellent singer and is the lead singer on several songs or shares turns with Dany on others. Ale, the bassist, is also a good singer, but she doesn't like to sing lead vocals, so she only does it when Dany needs to rest her voice a bit.
I love The Warning because of the passion and sheer power they play with, it pours out into their music and especially their live performances. Their music just hits the soul differently imo. Most assuredly heard of The Warning, as a relatively new (late 2020) Patreon supporter. They are one band that's better live than studio. This stage was as elaborate as it gets with them (with lots of lighting and video), but their show is every bit as good in a small venue.
I always suggest other videos from this concert (the other ones that are public at this time are Animosity, Enter Sandman -- it's the same song, except that it isn't, Money, Disciple, and Martirio, which is in Spanish). I think Disciple is the best of these, followed by their reimagination of Enter Sandman and Martirio, but they're all superb. The suggestions to compare the official/lyric videos with the live performance are good, as the comparisons illustrate just how good they are live.

Great, great, great live! I've seen them live 10 times all in the past year
They all sing, all play piano, and are all incredibly talented, but wait until you hear Paulina the drummer, take over and sing leads, as she bangs that heck out of that Kit! TW is one power Trio, you just need to see/hear more of. Live for me is always best, and these girls are a Studio Quality Live Band. What little tacks they use, they did them all themselves on their own instruments. They use a click track for timing more than anything. They are currently opening for Muse in Europe, and return to open for Guns N Fricking Roses for a couple shows. I urge anyone to go see them live if they get a chance. ⚡
Off to see them live supporting Muse in Glasgow later this month .
The scariest thing about these sisters is that Dany ( the oldest ) is only 23 Pau ( drummer ) is 21 and Ale ( bass ) is still only 18 . Although TBH honest it's probably even more scary that they first came to light on RUclips TEN YEARS AGO playing a cover of Metallica's " Enter Sandman " ( which they still perform to this day - and it's epic ! )

Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). I just discovered these incredible young women last year and I can't say enough about them. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. I had not been to a live show since early 2000s. Just not that interested. Well I saw TW 3 times last year and twice this year. Incredible song writers, music arrangers, musicians, and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I would suggest Disciple next also from the Teatro Metropolitan. Subscriibed.

It is always fun to see someone get "warned" for the first time! These ladies are awesome and their live show is not to be missed. They bring it on stage every time and they can really play great live. True superstars who deserve to be playing stadiums in the near future.

Their cover of Eneter Sandman at ages 14, 12 ,and 9 was posted for family and friends, and went viral.
When Lzzy Hale first heard them, she decided that Halestorm had to take them on tour, That happened last summer. Lzzy even gifted a new custom Gibson Explorer to Dany mid The Warning set. Dany thought she just got to borrow it. Afterwards backstage, Lzzy told Dany it was hers.
This song is from the 3rd and most recent album, Error. It is one of 6 songs from this show released so far. The other 5 are Disciple, Money, Animosity, Martirio (Spanish language song), and their Metallica Blacklist album version of Enter Sandman.
In my opinion The Warning has two things that set them apart from other up and coming bands. Their song writing is really good and their live performances are off the charts. Go see them live.👍

Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning! I see the rest of The Warning Army is filling you in on all the necessary details about the band. I would like to suggest something that may be a bit out of the ordinary for you - a triple play reaction. In 2014 (when they were just 14, 12, and 9 years old) they recorded a cover of Enter Sandman that ended up going viral to the tune of over 24 mil. views today. That was their first big break and they seized it to really learn their craft and start writing their own music. In 2021 they were invited to join Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara to record a song for Metallica's Blacklist album, so they chose Enter Sandman. The instructions for the project were to stay true to the lyrics of the original Metallica song, but other that the artists were encouraged to re-arrange/compose/imagine the entire structure of the song. During the pandemic they had one week to write, compose, record, and mix the song to meet the deadline Metallica had set. They completely stripped down the original music and first built it back up as a pop song for Alessia, and then they Warning-fied it for their style. They got a producer to fly to Monterrey, Mexico to record it, Alessia recorded her parts basically over Skype from Canada and they got it all done in one freaking week. Their new version is now one of their favorite songs to play live and they have tweaked it a bit more to make it heavier and fit their style live.
So, the suggestion is to start with the 2014 straight cover video, then the 2021 official video with Alessia, and then The Warning Live from this same show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022.

I just watched the review by Fil of Wings of Pegasus of a recent live performance he was invited to in London. He hit the nail on the head with his comment about the “authenticity” they bring to the stage.

I really enjoyed your reaction. I always enjoy seeing someone enjoying heavy and hard rock tones, riffs, rhythms and melodies as this band showed performing this song. When Dani's voice turns dirty and insolent I just got crazy. The skills of these musicians are at the forefront of the first-level hard rock scenario worldwide.

Despite being very Young, when you hear that song you realize how adults they are with lyrics like the ones of that song. And if you want to hear Dani's voice turning dirty and insolent, I recomend you hear Kool Aid Kids, from their last album.
It’s one thing to be able to play.

It moves on to a new level when you can consistently play, sing, and sound incredible live.

Damn cool reaction! The Warning is really tearing it up. I love the originality that they bring to the stage. Their songwriting is spot-on and their talent is just incredible. I wanted to do the G-n-R / The Warning show, at Hollywood Hard Rock, but tickets are $400 for the venue, compared to $100 for the show in Knoxville, TN. It's worth it, for me, but there will be no peace in the house, if I dropped that much on tickets. But, I'm rambling.. Take a look at all of their videos from Teatro Metropolitan. The recording and video quality is top notch, as they were special performances for the band. My favorites are Disciple, Animosity and their version of Enter Sandman, which Metallica put on their Blacklist album. (Not hard to find it, on the album - it's on disc 1, song 1.) This concert is likely to go down as one of, if not THE, reference concert for these incredible women. It is like and equivalent of Nightwish's Wacken 2013. Breathtaking performances, recording, lighting, and songs. People will be referring to this for a long time. For me the peak is the performance of Disciple. Just stunning!
Good to see someone find The Warning for the first time. Careful though, this rabbit hole runs deeeep. Live is really the way to enjoy the girls. Their studio work is great but to see them perform those songs live is next level. I won't say more because I see that The Warning Army is already here in full force. Strap yourself in, it's going to be a ride.

Seen them 3 times now. Just saw them in May. If they come near me I will see again. These girls already opened up for GnR in Mexico last year. Opened up for the Foo Fighter. Muse 5 times and they will open up for Muse 4 or 5 more times. They toured with Halestorm, and in Canada toured with Three Days Grace. They were at Rockville this year. Now they are in Europe for their first touring.
The Warning opening for MUSE that is all you need to know, these 3 girls are amazing.
Another really good video to check out is both of their TedX performances in 2015 and 2016. If you watch these make sure to listen to all of their dialogs because it's a great insight into who they are.

If you do enter sandman, do a double reaction to their version they did when they were really young and then again at the teatro where they play their newest version that they’ve put their own spin on. And catch them live if you can. Mind boggling how good they are live.

Welcome to the Warning Universe
Categorize them as really hard rock or soft metal, they are the best rock band to come down the pike, I think, since the heyday of the classic guitar bands of the 60's (Cream, The Stones, The Who, etc.). No wonder their concerts, which draw plenty of young folks, also include a solid contingent of boomers who compare them with the aforementioned classic bands. They know their instruments, write good songs, and have nailed the trio format. They just put on a basic show, so they can't compete with Muse or Rammstein extravaganzas, so even large concerts are kind of like hearing a good band in a club.
