Hi Susan. What do you recommend as far as Botox / fillers etc that one can do (without going overboard) in addition to sunscreen and good consistent skincare? For me, fillers don’t seem to work. I seem to lose the puffiness within weeks and then my lips look the same, but I’ve wasted too much money.

So true about not every brand’s formulation will work for you. Unfortunately I cannot use Naturium products that have niacinamide in it because I get rashes and a burning sensation. But niacinamide in other brands haven’t given me this issue. :(
How do i send this to all my clients? 😂 I always tell my clients, my mom especially, that I wish i could show them a mirror into ghe future. One where they wore sunscreen everyday and used retinol and one where they didn't. That's where the results are. You're not going to wake up in 6 weeks and magically not have wrinkles 💀
had a the same retinol reaction on my neck. went too aggressive. only thing that worked for me was washing with your Niacinamide gel and cool water, rubbing natural aloe gel at night and during the day a simple non actives moisturizer. @@Mixedmakeup this is late but thank you. Don’t worry I am still wearing sunscreen on the days where the index is three or above. And I found one I didn’t hate!
Esthetician and Esthetics Instructor speaking: I really appreciate this. (Not the Apostrophe ad but everything else.) I think a lot of people don’t have realistic expectations. Perfect example for me on the one product vs others. Niacinimide. I swear by the Naturium Niacinimide. Yes the % of Niacinimide is more than needed. BUT, there’s zinc in there. Compare that to the Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops or even Image (professional product) Niacinimide in the Biome+ serum, those other two don’t work for me. Naturium always does. Because of my education I know it’s because of the zinc but many people don’t know why, when I encourage them to try Naturium which is SO MUCH less expensive….it’s always a bit to convince them. But when they do, always happy. AND YES….sunscreen is everything. I can give anyone a list of at least 3 sunscreens to try for their skin type and tone that are more pleasant to use than others can be. I don’t think people realize how many options there are today. And new ones coming out every day! I just recently found my new holy grail sunscreen that I can reapply OVER my makeup during the day. Sunscreen….it’s literally the number 1 skincare ingredient we all need first. Nothing else matters if you aren’t wearing sunscreen.
I’m so glad you brought up the percentage of the Naturium Niacinimide. I have been using it for over a year and I have never had any issues. But recently I’ve been watching other dermatologist video saying that anything above 5% is too much. So now I’ve been battling with whether I should stop using it, but I feel that this one has improved my skin.
I think it would be very helpful if you made a video on your para-oral dermatitis journey. It is a lot more common than one would think, especially for women in their 30s, which is a large chunk of your audience. P.S if I may politely suggest to ease up on *zooming* editing, I counted 44 cuts in one minute. You are interesting to watch and an animated individual, you don't need any extra animation to exaggerate your points.
i understand that formulations matter but I've tried different types of products from different brands, my skin just cannot tolerate niacinamide. it burns my skin. and now I'm having hard times to find a good products for my dry dehydrated acne prone skin that doesn't have niacinamide in it
I’m really gutted that the viral Snail Mucin essence & moisturiser from Cosrx didn’t work for me😭 I had such high hopes! But nope, my fussy skin didn’t like!
Zooming in and out does not work for RUclips it’s distracting this is more of a short form content thing but you need other clips to break it up so it’s not just your face zooming in and out to emphasise that and things
Susan, sigh!! I just absolutely LOVE YOU! I have to say that I cannot begin to IMAGINE the stupidity that people think they need to tell you or share with you lol! You my dear, are one persevering, patient and kind woman! Not everyone could weed through copious amounts of bullshit day after day after day lol! We appreciate you and we love you and your content!💕
Did Mixed Makeup use a different editor? The constant zoom jumping in and out of Susan’s face was WAY too much. It’s every 2 seconds (not an exaggeration). Kinda annoying ngl.
But still an amazing video!! I love the big daddy truth at the end: SUN PROTECTION!!! Oh and the dark circles Point too… the amount of eye creams I see with dark circle correction claims is so annoying. I’d never buy any product from a brand making a claim like that. Bold face lie. Why do you think everyone wears concealer? Good grief. Thanks Susan & MM team!!! I love your content!!
Susan replied under someone else’s comment saying they were trying out different editing styles but will be phased out soon once a few scheduled videos are released that were pre filmed using that editing style. So least there’s that!
You know what I wish I could find? I have to wear a CPAP machine at night and my mask goes over my nose and mouth. I haven’t found a moisturizer that sinks in enough to be able to use it at night, and I wake up in the morning looking like I slept with a ball gag in my mouth. I need something to help with that.
Your skin condition looks more like seborrheic dermatitis or tinea versicolor to me. I also live in Florida and it's extremely common in humid environments. The rich moisturizers can trap in that yeast and cause an overgrowth very easily. If you're only being seen by an online dermatologist they might not be thinking about that if they're not in a humid climate. Antifungals might be what you need.
3:05 This happened to me. I was so heartbroken 💔 Just ONE DAY i didnt wear my sunscreen in the Houston sun and my skin looked burnt. It doesnt help that im a black girl with a few dark spots already and sensitive skin. I hated myself thay day I cried... I realised i left my sunscreen in my school bag...not my hand bag.
You are interesting to watch and an animated individual, you don't need any extra animation to exaggerate your points.
i understand that formulations matter but I've tried different types of products from different brands, my skin just cannot tolerate niacinamide. it burns my skin. and now I'm having hard times to find a good products for my dry dehydrated acne prone skin that doesn't have niacinamide in it
I’m really gutted that the viral Snail Mucin essence & moisturiser from Cosrx didn’t work for me😭
I had such high hopes! But nope, my fussy skin didn’t like!
I love sunscreen, but how do we really need to apply it 2 hourly?
great video
@@faithruntz2969 oh yes thank you!!
Susan!!! When are you going to bring Naturium to Canada 😭😭 Pleeeeaaassseee!!!
where do it get dew glo i want t look younger
You know what I wish I could find? I have to wear a CPAP machine at night and my mask goes over my nose and mouth. I haven’t found a moisturizer that sinks in enough to be able to use it at night, and I wake up in the morning looking like I slept with a ball gag in my mouth. I need something to help with that.
Have you tried just doing your skincare earlier in the evening? Or does no moisturiser sink in for you even after a few hours?
@@morgianasartre6709 it depends on the moisturizer I use. And honestly, it’s just not as relaxing to do it at say 6 as it is at 8. (I know me problem)
Love your sweater, can you share where it’s from?
Lol all the things I was Googling
Any idea about exosome/exomide therapy?
Your skin condition looks more like seborrheic dermatitis or tinea versicolor to me. I also live in Florida and it's extremely common in humid environments. The rich moisturizers can trap in that yeast and cause an overgrowth very easily. If you're only being seen by an online dermatologist they might not be thinking about that if they're not in a humid climate. Antifungals might be what you need.

This happened to me. I was so heartbroken 💔
Just ONE DAY i didnt wear my sunscreen in the Houston sun and my skin looked burnt. It doesnt help that im a black girl with a few dark spots already and sensitive skin. I hated myself thay day I cried... I realised i left my sunscreen in my school bag...not my hand bag. I really cried. Thankfully I still have time to fix it since im still 17. I want my skin to be perfect by the time im 21(before i start showing signs of aging). That’s my goal..❤
When i get a good job i'll invest in a dermatologist and a UV umbrella. Im gonna start using face coverings too to avoid the sun.
best video everrr!
Preach, Susan!! 👏👏
the editing on this video is too much, i feel like i'm watching cocomelon.
That incessant zooming in and out is ridiculous and annoying. Not cool at all.
That was great. Thanks
The new editing is hard to watch
But yet, you bragged about being able to use tret. immediately after cleansing your face in a previous video
Wow.. the zooming is Very distracting! I stopped the video half way thru.. i just couldn't
I absolutely love your videos but the editing on this one almost made me sick! PLEASE make the zooming in and out STOP!!! 😵💫🤢
