@wilmacmillan Lee's impact was wide. She encouraged and inspired so so many people that she never even met. May her light reflect off of us and remind us to be welcoming, transparent, genuine, gentle, caring, and kind people, like she was. You are so appreciated for the love that you poured into her beautiful soul for I believe she could not have so authentically shared her journey without knowing the unconditional love of those closest to her. May her unique, joyful spirit continue to nurture and heal those who are suffering and need it the most. Sending love and prayers for healing for you all. 💕

*Deep exhale* I've been there. I've been there, where there is no escaping the pain, the pain that others cannot see or understand. You just want the pain to stop...and when you come to place where it just won't, well, you go. In my heart I honestly believe that no one wants to go - no one wants to leave, they just want the pain to stop. That's been my experience. My personal experience. After many attempts, I'm still here. Realizing I was in trouble in 2018, I sought help. I couldn't imagine the pain and burden I would put on my son if I left. He saved me and didn't even know it.
This is a beautiful tribute. Heartfelt, kind and soft. Thank you for this.

This Video was so wonderfully done, what a beautiful honor to Lee's life. We never fully understand how someone could leave us like this, and it just hurts so much. I sadly learnt about Lee through her passing. After reading the news article about her, I watched some of her videos and I came across the one she made about her struggle with depression and it felt as though I could have written it myself word for word. I too have felt that heaviness in my chest, the constant struggle to paint on a smile (so exhausting!!) and the desire to end it all just to get away from the pain inside my own heart and the never ending tirade of self criticism inside my head. From what I have seen of her videos, she had a lot of love to give everyone else, but I guess the hardest part is learning to direct that love and compassion towards yourself as well. In my experience, it doesn't matter how many people tell you they love you when you're in that dark place because you often feel like you aren't worthy of it. I hope that her soul is at peace now

I know these thoughts & feelings all too well. I have fought depression for over 32 years. I tried to take my own life at age 16 & have thought about it at other times. I didn’t want to mess my kids up so I never tried again. I’m 62 & have so many things to be happy & grateful for. I’m in therapy & on meds however every day is a struggle. I don’t know how to take care of myself anymore after caring for a sibling who died at 58 as well as my parents. I practiced as an RN for 38 years. If I can give one suggestion to everyone who is struggling or can relate, it would be to put yourself first. Care for yourself before worrying around the clock about others. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

We couldn't stop crying, like Lee I also did struggle with depression, my hubby too, thank god we have each other's for support but sometimes it gets hard to navigate in every day life, specially now in this difficult times. Then the bullies... Oh lost souls they are... they need help too! They are really lost & still I can't understand them...
We were about to travel all of Europe & eventually going back home to San Francisco, California in our Sprinter Van Starlight but then Covid happened and sadly we had to sell our van... we worked so hard on our projects but we preferred giving our Starlight to someone who could enjoy her better then us.... and still we wanted so badly to eventually meet Lee & YOU guys, we are heartbroken we can't never meet Lee in person anymore but she will live forever in our memories, we were loyal fans of her adventures and we are big fans of you two sweet couple, we love you guys and keep spreading all your love... The footage is stunning and with your loving and heartfelt words B made this tribute incredibly touching and beautiful. Thank you.
I never met Lee, but I've watched her and Max and Occy and when I heard of her passing I could feel my heart stop for a moment while I grasped a breath of air and then pure chock. I can't even image how those who are closest to her must feel and I'm not going to try but my heart goes out to them.
I too struggle with depression and I'm receiving help....many years now.....but I've been at the brink many times in the past but God intervened.
I hope that people who bully get some help as well because bullies are hurting inside and they don't know how to deal with it so they lash out.

I only just learned of Lee’s life & struggles. I am unexpectedly overwhelmed with sorrow for her struggles because I empathize deeply. I too am a person that many refer to as a bright light, a warm & inviting soul - a person most feel so very comfortable with … and it is us who often feel very alone, very empty, very miss understood & invisible in many ways. We gain energy & joy from connection - the depth of that connection mirrors the depth of our dark days as well. I see so much of what I’ve been feeling behind Lee’s eyes as I watch her videos on Life w/ Lee. My heart goes out to her & all of you who loved her so. Her story has helped me put a name to what I have been feeling - deeply depressed. An acknowledgment I have been ashamed to admit to myself … until now. This video is a beautiful tribute to her - thank you for it. Now I know I need help navigating this phase of life & it is Lee’s story that helped me realize this & for that I am deeply grateful. Thank you, Lee - may your soul be at peace.

I am devastated to hear about Lee, she was very nice and seemed happy! and i am devastated for the train driver. My 18 year old cousin took his life by riding into a truck, that truck driver happened to be my neighbour and i was in the same class as his daughter it ruined his marriage and life. thoughts and prayers for everyone

The real tragedy is how people view her. I have been suicidal and I made it out due to personal reflection and she didn't think about anyone but herself at the end. That is the real tragedy. I have nothing but disdain for this shitty human.

@@samus6256 I understand your opinion- her last action wasn’t a healthy one. I am glad you found your way out of that dark place. The words you used may be triggering to many people. From my understanding online hurtful comments were part of the struggle. Being mindful of words used/ name calling may be something for all of us to reflect on.

You have a real gift in being able to express the love.I hadn't been able to share how deep it hurt that we'd lost Lee. I hope folks are taking extra care of her friends and family their pain must be so difficult. I'm concerned for Bec of Eamon and Bec. Some time ago i wanted to end my life. I looked at my dog at the time and thought how i couldn't leave him, he couldn't be with out me, i was all he had. I couldn't fail him and give up on him like that, he never did that to me and was with me through soo many hard times in my life. So i made a choice that day to live. That dog saved my life! I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him.
Now when there's funny or wonderful moments in life i always remind my self, I'm glad I'm here today right now to experience this moment. So those moments are even more precious to me. I feel soo blessed to get to share my life with 3 wonderful dogs now.
So everyone, please don't give up hope. Things will get better. Hugs!

That was so lovely and heartfelt. Although I only knew Lee and her incredibly wonderful spirit, through seeing her on RUclips I was deeply saddened and effected by her death. I’ve been rewatching many of the video’s from her shared channel with Max, her new channel, and on Eamon and Bec’s channel. Lee was so genuine and generous in sharing her life. While I was rewatching one particular video, Lee shared that she really needed to interact with people, that she needed that to feed her soul. The pandemic isolation required was likely very hard on her, as well as the on line bullying she had to deal with. The young adult daughters of two friends of ours recently also lost their battles with depression and also took their own lives, it’s all so tragic, sad, and the loss of such promise is so difficult to process. Lee’s struggles are over and she is at peace, I just wish she could’ve known how much she was valued by so many, while she was on earth, but I’m certain she knows now. Thank you for all the wonderful photos, video’s and time you took to create this amazing tribute to Lee. Continued prayers for those closest to Lee. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💔❤️💔❤️

I’m so so glad someone has taken the initiative to address this issue. I’ve been in sad disbelief since we were informed on youTube of what sad circumstances Lee had ended her life !! I’ve watched her since her first adventures, was fantastic to watch and listen to. So sad she wasn’t understood for the problems she was immersed in, I feel so sad for her and her parents and also for all those who loved her, like myself, Emon and Bec whom I also enjoy and Max. We really need to watch what we say on RUclips, try to think and convey kind thoughts. It’s actually a main principle in the Bible, treat others as you’d like to be treated.

Thank you for excellent professional video and narration the first from someone who met her. I am 51 and never new her. Yet I have been overwhelmed and have cried over several days. Turning to music where the lyrics have really spoken to me about her. I have gone back through her old videos and pictures and he only see a happy, vibrant woman in her prime having the time of her life. I see no suffering in her face and eyes. I just cant believe that she was feeling so badly that catching that train was better then dealing with tomorrow and being embraced by so many close to her that loved her dearly. She found new love was embarking on new ventures, went for a swim in the morning, happy smiling as always. How can she later be in so much pain that she ran for that train and went through with it. Her new love was waiting for her? She had 4 years of intense travel, filled with amazing memories. Well Lee I feel so bad for you I am so very sorry for you. We will see you somewhere, sometime....
