Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka is a belt-scrolling action game released by Technos Japan Corp. exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom in 1994. It was the fourth game in the Kunio-kun series ( tasvideos.org/... ) released for the Super Famicom and was developed by Almanic. It is a prequel to Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari (better known as River City Ransom ( tasvideos.org/... )).
This run by fcxiaopengyou ( tasvideos.org/... ) controls two players for double the action as he beats the game as fast as possible.

This is a magnificent game and I'm glad to see it tool-assisted. Very well done!
Something fun about this game is that the final chapter is basically lifted from the original _Return of Double Dragon_ plans. From the bridge to the mansion, that was all planned for the fourth _Double Dragon_ game. I'm really glad Technos was able to use those ideas here.
Not the first time Kunio-Kun games have riffed on Double Dragon.

It seems this game is a prequel to River City Ransom... In many ways, really?
Not really, I think in Technos canon it starts from the Arcade, then the Famicom games, and the Super Famicom games end the Kunio story. The inclusion of the games after on the 3ds and Switch, are somewhere between.

The scream the characters make when taking a long fall is pure 16-bit greatness. They all just go like "AAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOUUUuuuuggghhhh!!!!!!"

How was the process to make this and many others SNES kind of game, like Final Fight, Battletoads? I mean, graphic editor they used, programming software, texture, scanning, etc? Since a child I had this curiosity! :)
Even the river city girls joined the fight this was there official first game. But they do need to bring back Kunio Kun and crew! The soundtrack was epic!
River City Girls 2 is your answer.
This game is awesome and it’s one of the best, if not the best beat em up on the snes. It’s a contender for the best of it’s genre as well, no doubt about it

Man I wish this game got an official release in the US. Without all the censorship that River City Ransom received of course.
Let's see what happens once it gets released as River City Girls Zero (at the moment is only announced for the Switch).
