the final villain boss not being a human or a pokemon would be very cool

None, the explorers suck
The interesting part of the Explorers to me is that the RVT knew who they were in HZ002.
Friede didn't know Amethio perse, but Mollie recognized them due to the uniforms at distance.
I have to wonder the RVT met another member in the past and had some altercations too.
Even Butler Hamber knew of the RVT, so they have past history still yet to be revealed.
It's a cool "in media res" type of narrative, we got sucked into the middle of an ongoing story.
Amethio's Ceruledge didn't had Flash Fire because he was damaged by Charizard's moves.
It has Weak Armor (so Corviknight might have Mirror Armor). Cool concept to use Abilities.
Even Spinel's team are Pokémon who have either Analytic or Synchronize. Very Colress of him.
We have 5 admins + Gibeon so I guess that each Admin will be chasing a Hero Pokémon.
And since we have 6 pre-Liko RVT members each of them will defend a Hero Pokémon too.
We saw Mollie with Arboliva, so my guess is that Ludlow will aid with the Lapras-looking one.

Personally I think that the Explorers are actually a bunch of Paradox Humans trapped in the past that need Liko's pendant as it contains the time travel powers they need to return to the future
I doubt that
They are a great villain team so evil plus Spinel .
Unlike team Rocket the explorers don’t just blast off
The explorers might be wanting to open ultra wormholes to unleash guzzlord to destroy everyone in their way
If the explorers did not chase Liko and pendent then Pokémon horizon would not happen.

explorers are an actual threat unlike team rocket
@@NiallKelly so, that’s not what I’m saying. Other evil teams can be in the show we’ve seen that before, but Team Rocket was always there making it entertaining to watch. I just don’t care about this storyline, cause we haven’t gotten to know the explorers well enough to want to see what they are up to. My younger brother (5 years old) and his friends couldn’t watch the show as they found it boring and not as entertaining. They missed Ash and Team Rocket and that enjoyment they gave to the screen. So if their main target audience isn’t enjoying or can’t stay engaged with the show, then there must be something wrong.

@@wazzawarrior5715 dude u probably haven't watched all 1k episodes of Pokemon. I've watched all until mid sun-moon because team rocket was just too annoying then skipped to journeys until mid again. This is an actual anime now.
