Wow, I really thought you should have scooped against a control deck with a full grip and two planeswalkers out while having just lands. Turns out I was wrong ^^
The scapeshift come back against that esper control deck was quite impressive !.. The deck is very susceptible to board wipe though.. well, except if you combo kill with Dread presence. I suppose a Sammut in the sideboard would allow to double the combo kill potential of scapeshift ? (giving haste to the tokens) Or even the Vampire that deals one damage everytime you gain 1 life.

Yarok's animation is so cool. The animators and artists have already come a long way from the work that was presented during Dominaria. Stuff like Lyra is just ugly in comparison to any of the newer set animations.
I play a mid-range version of this, less all in on Field of the Dead and more emphasis on etb with Yarok, Kaya's Ghostform and Muldrotha. It performs very well.
Jo LegenVD, your videos are a huge help. I'm a new player who just started playing Magic some weeks ago and I followed your "upgrading forest's might" guide for my first deck. But now I see that I won't be able to use that deck anymore once the fall season comes and I don't have any wildcards left to build a new deck. Any ideas what I can do about that? Also, I would like to know whether or not I will be able to use those cards again at a later date or if they are now on a ban list.
I hope LegenVD will do another upgrading series with the new beginner decks. I guess there will be new ones and hopefully every player gets them for free. About your last question, in the link you get an answer in the fourth comment "Introduction to Historic" from one of the developers of the game. Short answer: You are still able to use all your cards :) There will be another format named "Historic", where players can always use all of their collection! Love the deck. I'm curious: Did you consider a one-of Reliquary Tower in case you scapeshift with a Tatiyova in play? Was it too taxing on the manabase to run another colorless land?
I'm running three in my monoblack deck without any particular combos. I just have lots of card draw or other ways to generate cards so I can basically play a swamp every turn.

idk, the way this deck is played kinda frustrating. Field of the deck-scapeshift combo is cool, but the risen reef combo in this deck is kinda slow

Definitely no room for it, Swamps are super valuable.
Is recurring lands from the graveyard too slow here? Aka muldrotha or crucible or mending of dominaria

Usually the game is over after Scapeshift, so we shouldn't worry too much about getting our lands back.
