I seen him on TV before but not up close and personal like this. What a machine The chainsaw have a dirt bike pipe. That's crazy wow that's fast that thing could cut through anything cr500 chainsaw is insanity. Definitely got to wear chaps. That pipe looks I could burn you. What a machine ❤Thank you so much! Yeah Ken... the "blue" Kiehin CDK 2's were one of the hot set-ups for Jet Skis back in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. Built-in diaphragm pumps! Great for watercraft.... anything really. The "blue 42's" (mm) were where it was at back then for Kiehin.
I don't know if they still do it now. But I remember watching stuff on tv several years ago when I was younger about hot-saw racing and some of the early hot-saw racers using snowmobile engines for some of the original hot-saws.
those SAES will b pulled down pulled up and pulled again thendo it all again. the saw only has to run for 15seconds so not much debris will not hurt it for that time. I live in Australia and all my saws are Sthil and nothing runs better on my farm. great show boys
Eric has an impressive collection of amazing chainsaws. I bet when you experienced that explosion with the nitro, that lifted you off of your feet. Definitely not something that is easily forgettable. Thank God it never hurt you badly..
@@tommys2979 they are water cooled motorbike engines which will heat up quickly. Maybe they have a simple water top-up boil dry tank like a hit and miss engine.
This is fun stuff. I'm a chainsaw guy too. Love your stories, Ken. Back in the 80's while partying around a campfire, my buddy threw an old rear Husqvarna wheel on the fire so we could see if the magnesium hub would burn. It lit the place up! Yes, magnesium burns. Like a big sparkler. 😅
I ran 70 percent nitro in my 21 .2 cc moped, it went from 27 mph to 44.7 mph scary,it only weighs 30 lbs, all aluminum frame and aluminum wheels, it was scary

So you bought an overpriced saw that cuts slower than my old 395 so what?
you think the chaps are stoppin that thing? LMAO
Unreal!
Where's the air filter at..Not good if just built or even if wasn't. Debri gets in there and scars the walls and such
What part of the concept are you not understanding?
These are competition saws. They get rebuilt all the time.
Get a clue?!
The guys been doin it for 15 years, with podium finishes.... Relax
It's just a barbarian out for fame, never mind the technicalities.

Oh. That is terrifying. I've got a 93 CRM 250R, still on the original front tyre. I cannot comprehend that motor in a chainsaw. Just no.
3:14 ive used grease before in a burn barrel it settled in the bottom soon as that flame hit it boom lol never again

I love that you ask the people for feed back. The more that get involved the more we can know and build the best
How are these engines cooled?
Theyre 2 strokes lol
