Linkin park is one band you never get sick of. Every once in a while, you come back to relive these absolute gems and feel like a kid again. Linkin Park gave and saved lives.
100%. Last year during the lockdowns when I was doing a lot of walks to get out the house I decided to listen to every single LP album again in release order from start to finish and my word. Not every album is my thing, especially the later ones, but it was so good to just throw myself back into the band, I have a lot of love for their music
@@Fragmented_Mask doesn't matter what your favourite genre is. Linkin Park is Linkin Park. Ever since Chester left, my taste in music got heavier and darker but LP is still my go to artist whenever I'm left alone with my thoughts. Used to headbang to their music as a kid absolutely filled with energy. Now I listen to LP and actually feel and understand what it really means.
100% agreed, even when I'm tired of listening to them over and over I eventually come back because their songs are f*ing bangers and they hit you in a way not many more bands do
He's also gone on record as saying he generally doesn't like doing guitar solos; writing them and playing them. He enjoys how they sound, but he's one of those guitarists who's perfectly content with his sound being one part of a greater whole, rather than standing out on his own. A statement which becomes really funny once you get to The Hunting Party.
There are shit tons of guitar solos in Linkin Park's second last studio album and the most underrated album of LP: The Hunting Party :) Also don't forget about the two bonus tracks of this album
I remember getting that album for my 17th, what I never expected is to get a bonus CD with their live performance in Monterrey. That's something I still go back to from time to time
You must to know something "The Little Things Give You Away" is not the last song on the album. In Minutes To Midnight Deluxe Version are two more songs: "No Roads Left" and "Across The Line"
That whole Milton Keyes performance was just incredible, tbh. That one, Rock am Ring 2003 and Live in Texas are the three shows I go back to watch consistently
@@AugmentedSmurf for sure, I love how you can watch a live version any of their songs and 80% of the time it’ll be better than the studio and so much variation between the live versions keep everything fresh :)
That one sounds horrible, cause he's for the most part some cents lower in pitch compared to the instrumentation. Which is very unfortunate, cause all other aspects of that vocal performance are flawless!
Yeah "The Little Things Give You Away" is hands down my favorite song from the MTM album, but the deluxe version of MTM has 2 extra songs, "No Roads Left" and "Across the Line", along with 2 bonus songs that are spun off of "Given up" and "What I've Done".
wait, you said there's one song left? i hope you found out when you we're filming these reactions that there are two bonus tracks they've finally officially released for the 15th anniversary of the album's release, Mike gave his all in No roads left and the story Across the line depicts can hit in the feelings, i hope you'll listen to them
Every album is unique. If you really want to go on a journey keep going through their albums. IMO their album LIVING THINGS was very underrated. LP got me through so many tough times and will always be my favorite band.
I’m genuinely excited to see and hear your reaction to “The Little Things Give You Away”. It’s my favourite song on this album and probably in my top 10 of all time. It’s going to blow you away dude!
this song and "with you" are my favorites because the lyrics are extraordinarily spectacular, they reach the depths of my feelings, many times they are the engine of my day to day, that's Linkin Park, the engine to continue in this world Saludos desde Argentina 🤘🤘🇦🇷🇦🇷🤘🤘
with Minutes to Midnight being the first Linkin Park cd I bought & listening to it literally 100 times, I loved this full album reaction series. So good! And "little things give you away" is so fucking good! Love the cult like vibe of the song. Puts me in a trance lol
This is probably one of my favourite tracks from this album. It’s so raw. The lyrics are so simple but powerful. They don’t need to try to be fancy. I’m glad it made it on the album because I could see a world where they didn’t think it would fit.
Linkin Park really know how to make a song lyrically and emotionally. I swear each song becomes deeper and hits hard with every song I listen to, and honestly- that's why I love their music. Every song they make is relatable, but at the same time very catchy. Linkin Park is legendary, and I just want to listen to more! 😭
Power. Power , I am impowered Cleverness. ... transformative Honest.... This song !!!!!! I feel if I say more expression will not do it justice.. Almost crying and feeling vindicated as it speaks to the destruction manipulation leaves when being manipulated. Thank you for hosting this song.
This is my favorite song from linkin park even tho I can't choose a specific one, because literally I love every single song they released official or not, but this one I always find myself coming back and listening to it for days and days ❤
IM SO EXCITED FOR LAST ONE I remember vividly how as a kid I played this on my headphones in the bathroom sitting just enjoying and imagining the events in song, I hope you enjoy it 🤍✨ it's a fave and I appreciate you seeing my favorite album 💕 stay safe dude!
Honestly, the line "There's truth in your lies" kinda reminds me of how most lies always have a tinge of truth in them in one way or another. It's also built upon immediately after with the line "Doubt in your faith" where everybody always has some level of doubt, no matter how much faith they have in a person or believe in them. And in the context of the song itself, it almost feels like a situation of realizing that this wasn't what you hoped for and maybe going into it in a certain way might have been a mistake. Just my thoughts.
hello friend, my name is pedro from argentina, I've been following you for years, you're a genius, I love sharing linkin park with you high topic for god !!!!
Listening to this album when it came out, I recall being blown away by this song. More than any other at the time it made me appreciate Linkin Park as a band--like most I was drawn in by Chester and Mike's personalities, but this one really makes you appreciate their instrumentality and overall skill as musicians. It's great hearing each layer come in more and more and more leading to that solo, and then they fade out one by one right at the end, its just so well composed.
oh my god! I've passed my holidays watching your reactions to Linkin Park and I feel so so relieved & understood. Man, I was like 5 years I couldn't listen LP, Chester and everything around the band; to me, one part of my heart was broken the day Chester died. I guess it was a matter of time to listen them again, and I'm here to say THANK U BRO. You help me a lot. Hope you are enjoying this just like me.
Always checking your channel for Linkin Park reactions, always great reviews and interpretations on the song. There’s 2 official bonus track for Minutes to Midnight and it’s • No Roads Left • Across the line I think you have to also check this out to complete the Minutes to Midnight ☺️
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but Alex man you are one positive beacon.. you make me always smile and feel positive. Greetings from Germany bro.
i remember i found this song somewhere around 2008-9, a year after the release and it became one of the best LP songs for me, I still find each and every second of this song so beautiful as if its crafted just to make you cry... super emotional and more and more nostalgic everytime single time i recreate this in my mind. specially the instrumental solo (one of few masterpieces from LP), hits sooo deep everytime, every single time. ALWAYS feels like i am listening to this for the first time, like its one of those evergreen songs which are timeless and never gets old even after listening 1000s of times. grown up with these songs, they were always and will be part me.
Alex there are another two songs from this album (in bonus edition) called "No Roads Left" and "Across the Line", please react to them as they were officially added to album in his anniversary this year.
I just want to say thank you for doing a full reaction to this album. This was THE album that made me fall in love with this band. And I have relived the nostalgic feelings all over again with each video you've done of this album. I'm sure I'm not the only one that needed this. Much love!

Love.love.love. U explained this song perfectly it's from minutes to midnight album that one was during his divorce wit Samantha. N what Abt those guitar solos. Fkn amazing. On this song and little things give u away awesome songs.
For me, the best guitar solo is in the opening track of The Hunting Party, Keys To The Kingdom. It's the most badass moment of the whole lp's discography, so make sure you check it out. It's MY opinion*
The Little Things has an awesome part at the end where Mike and Chester are singing at the same time; but almost in two different time signatures. *chef kiss* to this music nerd. Just for a preview.
They really did make music that just resonates with you one way or another. Miss Chester as his journey became healing for many of us but now he is gone and we are left to share his journey and story with others so they to can resonate and heal.

This solo really makes this song the best piece of art they've ever done.
