This video was brought from the heavens because I've been dealing with this pain and DISCOMFORT for 3 years. He described everything I was feeling and seeing. I just did what he said and gosh darn it freaking worked. I'm laughing when I do certain movements that used to hurt because I realize how much DISCOMFORT I was putting up with. Thank you so much for the relief!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I’ve had the same thing for three weeks and my chiropractor had never heard of this adjustment. I called 12 different chiropractors locally and finally one of them knew exactly what I was talking about and he was able to adjust me. What a relief!
I myself am a healthcare professional and have access to all kinds of healthcare in my hometown of Los Angeles, but I plan on flying to Illinois to be seen by this Doctor for my dislocated bicep tendon.
Wow, this is the first time I have seen someone who was able to utilize, Chiropratics, ART and on top of that teach proper physical therapy for rehab. I live in Japan and saw a recommended ART therapist and he worked my shoulders fairly well but spent waaay more time on places that didn't have any pain at all. I felt like we were wasting time.
I had shoulder decompression sugery 8 months ago. Did physiotherapy but kept having pain in the acromion area. A lot of snapping sounds like a tendon is catching in the joint of the shoulder on rotation or overhead downward arm raise. Starting to think bicep sublaxation as when l compressed the the bicep tendon area and lowered my affected arm there was no clunking or catching sound. Awaiting to get an ultra sound scan as requested by my Doctor.
Yeah doc, I have visited many doctors here frequently but there is no result eventhough doing some regular back exercise for some instant muscle get relaxed while doing some house works again it tends to get tighten up which makes my back hurts a lot. Hope that you will help me to get rid off from this pain which I have been facing for around 10 years. And mainly thanks for you response doctor.
That sounds sort of like an injury I got last week, either by cutting rhododendron higher branches above my head with clippers, or by pushing off of a very soft foam mattress when half awake and putting too much weight on my hand. Description of various muscles sounds like mine. Various motions hurt, but only sometimes.
Hey doc I'm a 25 year old boxer and about 4 months ago during sparring i dislocated my shoulder.I completely stopped training for about 3 weeks until i was able to rehabilitate my shoulder.I was able to get strength and mobility back in my shoulder albeit at a slow pace, It took me about 3 months and i thought i was headed for a full recovery. It wasn't until after those three months i realized i wasn't seeing any further progress when it came to my strength and range of motion and I'm stuck at about 85%.Internally rotating my shoulder the way you showed in the video is really the only time i feel pain otherwise everything else feels fine.I noticed that during the 3 months of rehabbing my shoulder when i would do the typical rotator cuff exercise with band raising my arm to the side bending it at 90 degrees and letting my hand fall towards the floor i would hear a popping and if i placed my finger on my shoulder could even feel the tendon rubbing against my shoulder bone. After realizing those 2 things i picked up an annoying habit during training whenever i shadowbox and i start throwing hooks if it feels uncomfortable to me I will place my arm in the position and let it fall so i hear and feel the popping.I do this constantly as if subconsciously my body thinks it will help with the uncomfortable feeling of throwing hooks. The second bad habit i picked up is that i will place my hand 90 degrees on my stomach and try an push inward as if to try and strengthen my internal rotation so i no longer feel that pain. Until stumbling across your video I just thought it was because i was doing something wrong after dislocating my shoulder.I never gave any thought of it being my bicep tendon. Does it sound to you like this is my problem?I haven't been able to hit a punching bag going on 4 months now so any info would be much appreciated. Funny enough I even tried to self correct My tendon myself by eyeballing your video and expecting nothing to happen I did my second annoying habit and tried to press into my stomach and like a miracle i saw a noticeable difference in the little pain i felt when i pushed inward. Could i have just fixed it myself? perhaps just wishful thinking but I'll take anything i can get . Thanks for taking the time out of your day to make this video much appreciated.
TheJDocRealMinute unfortunately i didn’t have the money to pay for an MRI so I’m stuck trying to look for answers online. Also since attempting to adjust my shoulder myself as somewhat of a joke ( i didn’t think anything would happen) i haven’t experienced anymore pain when trying to internally rotate my shoulder for 2 days now which has never happened since my incident.however, since then i have noticed some tenderness in my shoulder.Slight pain like a bruise when i touch but its been getting better.I’m not sure if thats normal so ive just been taking it easy these past 2 days icing and taking ibuprofen. I plan on seeing how it goes this week so i have stayed away from any training and even sudden movements in hopes that it means i’m finally recovering.I haven’t made up my mind that this is the answer but something definitely happened when i tried the adjustment and it without question seemed to get rid of the pain involved with internally rotating my shoulder.thanks for replying its hard to get any info on this situation so i’m trying to be as descriptive as possible. My girlfriend is in medical school but she’s a first year so as you can probably guess its hard for me to get answers from her since she hasn’t been taught much of this stuff yet.
Whaaaaat!!! Mind Blown!! This can be fixed like this!!?? my bicep tendon/ radial nerve is suffering for years..osteopaths have been giving me exercises to do..but everything just pintches my nerve at the temple and the pain stops me from even doing the physio right!!! This is amazing..can it still be fixed if its been trapped for...over 5 years? and im 40 not 17.. :)
All depends if it is a rolled bicep tendon? I would seek out a qualified clinician who truly understands this technique. Keep us posted. Thank you for your support.
Thanks for your Video Dr.I am sufferring from this problem for 10 yrs. I am doing many exercise everyday.but no result.please help me Dr.What can I do next step. My name is Mohana Chandaran from india.

Biceps tendon? Please explain why it is not Biceps Tendons or Bicep Tendon. Bi usually covers more than one. If refering to "her" tendon should we just add an apostrophe?
Are you seeing any new patients? Doctors here where I am seem to not understand how to do this! Know this the pain I’m experiencing! My right shoulder is rolled forward as well
Hey, i rarely comment on videos. Just wanted to let you know, that you are a good person! I read the comments and saw all these answers! Happy that there are people like you helping total strangers! So i have a question as well, if you find some time :). I worked out shoulder and chest 3 days ago. Recently i started to make a lot of stretches and exercises to fix posture(rounded shoulders etc) because i started to get a little pain on my right shoulder with push ups, pull ups and so on. I did some of these new exercises/stretches right before i did my workout as well. My left shoulder started to hurt a little in the front-outside and i couldn't lift my arm up in front of me after a few hours without pain. When i internally rotated the shoulder (thumb pointing to my body) i could lift it up almost pain free though. Further i recognized a little click/slip (no ides how to describe it) when i lift it in front of me. 1 Exercise for rotator cuff i did before i worked out is where you bend your elbow 90degrees, keeping your elbow close to your hip externally rotate the forearm away from your body. My range of motion on left arm was more limited than the right arm. I did this with a resistant band and maybe tried to hard to get it as far as the right? Because this movement now hurts as well and it makes this slip/clunk/click whatever it is happen. I think it is the tendon as well that is hurting and moving. I am not sure though. I tried to do fix it like you showed it internally and externally (as i am not sure if it might be not medial but slipping to the outside). The pain today is a lot better already. And i can lift my arm in front of myself only with pain between 40-60 degree range i think. I don't want to mimic the rotator cuff exercise movement again as i am afraid of this clicking again. I don't really hear it, i just feel the little 'snap' everytime i do it. Just give a few more days rest? And try again the movements? Or you think it could be something else? Could this movement let the tendon slip out to the side that is less likely? Sry for the long text Doctor!
I have to add something. I just tried again when i flex my biceps. Bending my arm 90degrees at the elbow palm facing the ceiling. Like a Bicepscurl stopping at 90degrees holding this position and then lift the arm up i get a click sound and feeling! When i move it back down a bit before it is back in the starting position, but it doesn't really hurt! When my palm facing the floor and i lift the arm up and lower it back it hurts a bit where i got the click sound before but i don't get it now. Would be so grateful if you could help! Kind Regards!
I would recommend resting your shoulders for a few days to let the inflammation decrease. I would recommend taking a supplement - Tumeric to decrease the inflammation and Goto Kola -- this helps with ligament and tendon inflammation. Do this first until the pain is around 20%.
You are great Doc!!! Thank you very much for your time. It is already to 10% pain, I just get the clicking still on some movements, but not as much as it was. I will try to get my posture and shoulder healthy before I start with Push Ups and shoulder exercises again! I am taking turmeric already, gonna check out the second as well. Thank you so much Doctor!!! By the way do you think scoliosis can be healed? I have a bit a twisted and not straight spine and tilted pelvis. My first language is not english. Please forgive if something is wrong! Kindest Regards!
You are very welcome and I am happy that I was able to assist you. The question about scoliosis depends on: 1) the degree of the curve 2) How old are YOU?) 3) Are you currently seeing someone who gives corrected therapy?
Hi Doc, I’ve been having issues for about 3 years now on and off. Had MRI in 2020 but because of covid never saw anyone. I’ve been having issues with my neck, then it moves to shoulder - bicep tendon and shoulder blade. I saw a chiropractor in January for 12 sessions and he’s made it worse. I’m in constant really bad pain from bicep tendon - shoulder. It was never this bad before seeing him, he refereed me to my doctors for an ultra sound. I had an ultra sound a few weeks ago and she said it showed fluid in there. I went for results and the doctor said to rest and Ice etc. I’ve been doing this for months now and no changes. He looked at the previous MRI and said it showed a small tear in the bicep tendon and that it had moved back, not fully dislocated but was catching on something in the shoulder blade? I’m now waiting for up to 2 months to see someone else. Any advise would be massively appreciated. I can’t weight train any upper body now and I’m losing any muscle I’ve built, I’m 44 years old
Hello Doctor, i popped out my right hand long head bicep tendon from the biciptal groove while doing a rubber band stretch exercise. How do i fix it , coz every time i move my arm it brings pain with clicking sound. Please Help.
Tendonitis --inflammation of the tendon. This is a bicep tendon subluxation. Which CAN cause the tendon to become inflamed. Two totally different situations.
Thank you 🙏 I have subluxation of my right bicep long head. Clicking during and inflammation after bench press exercises. Previous dislocation years ago, possible partial tear of subscapular? tendon . I have full effective use of the arm besides the clicking and inflammation. Would exercise of those posterior muscles still help or is Tenodesis/cuff surgery necessary before I can continue pressing exercises? More importantly, will the suboxation cause the bicep tendon to fray and ultimately sever?
@@thejdocrealminute4648 No not yet, that's where I'm counting on some answers during an appointment. In the mean time, can the tendon fray after a while poppin in and out of the groove like this?
Wow you can talk all day about how the anatomy of those tendons work. my doctor said “only thing you can do is lift less” but i think the same thing that happened to her happened to me. I dislocated both my shoulders throwing haymakers while boxing someone. It has been two years, the first year was pretty common dislocations and a lot of pain. Although my shoulder pain has pretty much left, and im not doing many activities to dislocate it again. I feel a pain in what i believe is my ulnar nerve in my elbow specifically activated from dumbbell bench press, as well as mid belly bicep pain on my long head, both on my right arm, which is the arm that dislocated worse and would dislocate more frequently in the past. Doctor are you in the tristate area or know any doctors you could refer me to in new york city or north new jersey? the last two guys i went to, one wanted to put me on blood thinners , and one just told me to stop working out as frequently. I am 20 years old, that is the last thing i want to hear! Both of those sessions lasted 5 minutes.
I would highly recommend you start calling Doctors who specialize in that type of injury. Yes, increasing the joint strength will lessen the chances of dislocated shoulders. I would recommend calling/researching Chiropractors who specialize in sports injuries.
I have been dealing with this pain since I suffered a fall. MRI shows long head bicep tendon is medially displaced, as well as tendonitis and bursitis. Will the tendon go back into the groove on its own? My chiropractor isn't addressing my shoulder pain. My orthopedic dr gave me a cortisone shot and sent me home. :'(
@@thejdocrealminute4648 not sure where or how to start a search. What is this technique called? I have had the same Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor for 25+ years. My chiropractor doesn't do anything like this. :(
@@mrsmcg Find another Chiropractor. Call the Office: Ask --'Do you use a 'Drop Table' ? 'Does the Chiropractor know how to adjust the SI joint on a Drop Table with the patient on their stomach?' Because I do not like being on my side being adjusted.
So, I'm not sure if I have long head bicep tendonitis or if the tendon has slipped out. Would I be able to tell the difference? The front of my shoulder hurts. It was x-rayed and the Dr said that it looked like tendonitis and that I should seek physiotherapy to treat it as well as my rotator cuff. How do I know? Should I seek physio therapy or a chiropractor?
Hey Doc, Do you know of any Chiropractors in the Houston, TX that can perform the manipulation of the bicep tendon or do you have a recommendation for a doctor? I have called several offices and haven't found one yet.
please answer i am suffering in my right shoulder since 4 months now ,i painted the house ...in December since than i have pain in my right shoulder, then i fell on snow and my 1 Tendon came out , there is a chinses Doctor , takes $50 in Manhatten New York.. Dr he put the tendon back and said let it heal it has been a bit better , but i cant strech my hand up, before it was like my elbow mussles got short or somthing i was not even able to bend my hand from elbow, but its better now , i have pain in my shoulder constanly ,not sharp pain, but ts from back Mussels and front shoulder and i see swelling in my armpit too... you said its gonna take 18 months to Heal???
Hello doc, I'm 42 and working my way back into the gym again. Started TRT a year ago and have put on so much muscle that I'm overloading my tendons and joints. My bench went from 245lbs to 335lbs weight 180lbs to 205lbs but I've had to stop because bicep tendinitis pain is so bad. I have a computer desk job makes shoulder roll worst. So how do you know the difference between pinched tendon and a rolled one? Is there an easy test? I have to get this fixed ASAP. It is literally shutting down my left arm, shoulder, chest development. Hammer curls, bench, curls all hurt. Thanks!
Question: when doing incline bench dumb bells. Do you feel the ANY shoulder pain with the transition from the kicking of the bells from your knees to above head?
TheJDocRealMinute I would say not really anymore than regular bench with straight bar or dumbbells. Hammer curls hurt the worst, so bad so that curling a set of 10 right arms of 50lbs is easy, but one curl with left arm of 45lbs is absolute horrible. I did do a set of pull-ups for the first time in months and it was very painful as well. That help?
A tendonitis will go away with rest away from the activity that brings it on. A pinched 'anything' --- after time away from activity -- is still present upon returning to the activity.
Hiya Doc, I have been suffering with bicipital dislocations primarily in my dominate arm for 30 years. There seems to be a possibility of it happening any time I move my arm away from it's normal resting position. I have been through many rounds of physical therapy, been to many baffled doctors/specialists, none of them have helped to lessen or resolve the issue, in fact exercising only seems to cause more dislocation instances. I have always been able to relocate my tendon shortly after it happens, but this has diminished quality of life for me, as I have not been able to enjoy sports or perform jobs that require me to move my arm to far away from my body. Do you have any advice or referrals for me, I'm at a loss.
thank you for the detailed explaination! is that the transverse humeral ligament become lossen so that the tendon moves out of the bicipital groove? if so, can the ligament heal itself and become tight again? or any rehab can help the healing? again, thank you so much for the info!
Ligaments take time to heal. To lessen the chance of subluxation again ....strengthen the muscles surrounding it. Increase Vitamin C intake to AT LEAST 4,000 mg daily to help heal the ligaments.
@@Brizzo200 Tendons and ligaments have a very poor blood supply meaning that they do not have any blood vessels that travel through them, which is what makes them very strong and resistant to stretch. This is also why the do not heal quickly, because they lack a direct blood supply. Then how do they get what they need to heal? The materials that they need to heal are supplied to the body in the blood, and then are transferred to the tissue thru the fluid that leaves the blood flow carrying the needed materials. Therefore, ligaments and tendons need to be constantly "bathed" with this fluid since they do not have a direct blood supply within them as muscles do. This is why they take longer to heal than muscle. This is also why movement helps them to heal more quickly because movement of the soft tissue helps with the "bathing" process.
Hello, I had a minor injure on my left arm. I did an amazing bicep routine workout that totally destroy my arm(in a good way). After my workout, I went to raise up the bench to increase the incline. I did this with my left arm fully extended downward and when I was about to lift it. I had a sharp pain on my long head bicep. Not close to the shoulder, but the pain occur right under the anterior deltoid muscle. My bicep took about 1 week of no exercising to not feel any pain but when I went back to bicep curls. My left got weaker by about 25% and the pain comes back slightly. My bicep looks normal and there is no bump whatsoever. It's been 2 weeks now and my left is still weak, should I do a checkup? Please message asap, I want to make some GAINS!!!!!

Bicep tendonitis may be treated with avoiding the activity that is causing the inflammation. In addition, with your workouts ----avoid doing bicep curls that put your arms into extension behind your body; incline dumbell curls, etc... Always cool down the inflammation with Ice pack for 20 minutes .
I can put mine back in by myself. The problem is that it pops out doing the simplest of things like pushing a swivel kitchen tap. Is there meant to be something holding the tendon into the groove?
I am not sure I understand the question? I am going to answer it this way and use my best judgement. The mechanism of a dislocated biceps tendon is: internal rotation of the humerus with flexion of the forearm at the elbow. This will cause 'just enough' laxity of the long head of the biceps muscle to 'roll out' of the groove. I hope this answered your question?
hello doctor. My name is Bilegt and im lifter. 10 months ago i have bicep tendon surgery and now its gettin better but when i training it hurts like before the surgery. then 14 or 20 days after pain released. then i injected hormone injection and it release pain. But when i training it hurts again. what should i do? doctor said to me that you should keep waiting. people have surgery with me, they are workin out now.
First, how old are you to have this surgery? Second, what type of exercise are you performing that increases the pain? Anytime you do a bicep exercise that involves extension of the arm: bicep curls on an incline bench -- will increase the stretch of that tendon and increase the pain. Third, increase muscular strength on the posterior delt area to increase stabilizers for the anterior delt/arm muscles.
Hi Doc, thanks for the video. I feel that my bicep tendon slips out when I lift my arm up to the side or when I lift it up to the side and backwards. I'm not sure if the bicep tendon goes back to its place or not. The pain is not extreme but it makes the arm feel unstable and prevents me from lifting it up for at least week. How can I diagnose whether or not the bicep tendon is dislocated or is subluxing each time? This started happening a few months after I dislocated my shoulder.
Saw another chiro at the same clinic. Asked if anything could be done about my displaced long head bicep tendon. I was told to not move my arm in ways that causes pain, rest and use heat and ice. Wil these things help?
@@thejdocrealminute4648 I've been trying. I can't find anyone. Saw orthopedic PA today. She gave me therabands and pt exercises to do at home. Said it was too soon for another cortisone shot. She said I have already tried most modalities - cortisone injection, massage, chiropractic, anti-inflammatory meds, Voltaren cream, etc. So, time to get home pt a try.
Dear Dr. When this young lady goes back to pitching, what can be done to prevent this from happening again, and if it does, how common of an occurrence might it be? Will she have to continually come back for placing the tendon back into the Humeral groove? Thank you.
So throwing underhand can cause this? Also wondering if i am palpating the bicep tendon properly. I locate the lesser tubercle and move my fingers laterally till i feel a drop off (into the groove?) Any idea why i would feel numbness in my hand when i palpate ? No nerve is directly in this area, correct. I am positioning the arm i am palpating with the bicep facing forward and forearm supinated.
Throwing underhand 'COULD' cause this --- I would guess due to the slight rotation of the upper arm. Yes, you hit the groove when you felt the drop off. No idea why the numbness in the hand occurs----do you have your arm flexed when you are palpating? OR is it vertical by your side?
Hi, I think I have this injury but the tendon only slips out when using heavy weights in the gym (curling 20kg is fine - curling 25kg causes it to pop out as I became fatigued near the end of the set). As soon as I feel it pop out it pops back in again on its own since I stop the movement and I can still work out. I have full mobility though certain movements are sore after popping it. Is there anything I can do to keep the tendon in the groove under strain? Thanks in advance!
Yes, this happens due to the 'laxity' of the tendon going through the intertubercular groove. I always recommend strengthening the posterior delt muscles to help counter-stabilize the anterior group which the bicep tendon lies underneath.
It feels like i laxed my distal bicep tendon. Bicep slightly flatter and inward a little. Bivep is a little further from elbow joint up top. I was curious since it must be a partial sprain what to do to anchor or tighten this tendon?
I was doing bivep curls of 15kg without adeauate warmup because i need to perfect the warmup. I was stupid to use this amount and my front delts were used. I notived a weird feeling in my right distal bicep tendon. So i stopped and cycled instead.
Hello sir, I have chronic shoulder problems in both shoulder for the past two years...MRI showed bicep tendon subluxation. It will cause impingement and cause my whole upper body to get weak and stiff. I haven't been able to do PT or strengthening for more than 3 weeks consistently before it goes out and when it does go out it limits my range of motion and causes serious weakness in my entire shoulder and shoulder blade. the doctor said he doesn't recommend surgery but I used to be an athlete and would like to get "normal" first before I go back to sports. Do you have any recommendations for chronic bicep tendon subluxation? my internal and external rotation is poor and weak, shoulder seems unstable. I wonder if I make all of the muscles in my back very strong if it will be enough to prevent this reoccurring injury? it goes out so easily in my daily life and my whole upper body is a mess because of the inability to consistently be active.
Thank you for your response. First ---- get the bicep tendon CORRECTED. Find a Practitioner who is familiar with this technique to treat you. You many need 4-6 treatments to stabilize the tendon inside the groove. Once it is IN --- strengthen the posterior group muscles: supraspinatus/infraspinatus/subscapularis/teres minor muscles for stabilization. I recommend ANY PT exercises that will do so. I understand how you feel because I have had this happen to me on more than one occasion and it is not fun. I hope this helps.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help. How do you recommend I go about finding a practitioner that can help? I am in Houston TX and unfortunately had a bad experience with a couple chiropractors as they hurt my back a bit in the past...Do you think a chiropractor would be the best for this? or a PT or someone else? Thank you for your time!
On my UT it says that there is also a thin in the supraspinatus but no inpigment. It is also a subluxation of the biceps. It is normal to have a thin supraspinatus tendon with biceps subluxation? I feel pain on my lateral side of the neck, is that from the supraspinatus? Thank you doc
Question: What is 'UT'? Are you missing some words: 'A thin in the supraspinatus but no impingement...? Do you have a thin 'tear'? 'Lateral side of the neck... --your neck or humoral neck?'
TheJDocRealMinute I am sorry. By UT I meant ultra sound. On my Ultrasound the told me that the tendon of supraspinatus was thinner but there was no evidence of shoulder impingement
The supraspinatus has a different involvement in regards to the biceps tendon. Yes, they ALL play a role -together - in creating shoulder movement. The pain on the lateral side of your neck is due to the over activity of the anterior delt/pec minor muscles: flexors and the disinihibition of the posterior group muscles: posterior delt/levator scaupula/trapezius muscles: extensors -- which stabilize the complete complex. Basically -- your shoulder is being pulled forward which puts strain on your neck.
Hello sir, I just wanna ask you why when I’m curling weight(dumbell curls) I feel a cutting pain through my right brachialis mainly in the middle of it, and also a pulling sensation at the bottom of the bicep tendon? This causes me to not be able to perform the same amount of reps of each arm and really stops me from enjoying physical activity? Thank you 😊
I did sir, he tested me for bicep tears on both biceps, but it came out i have no issues. What i think he did not understand is that i get pain and discomfort and the pulling sensation in my tendon after completing reps of biceps curs and even worse on pull ups. It's very demoralizing, please some advice sir :)
When doing the correction is that outward movement necessary? Would if work with just internal rotation of the humerus while pushing the tendon laterally? Also should the patient use a mitella after the adjustment in more severe cases? I also wonder if that tendon over the groove will heal by it self when the tendon is in place?
The outward movement is to get that tendon in the groove. Is it necessary? -- This is the technique that I use to correct it. Sure your technique may work as well. I don't recommend the mitella because I want the patient to get active ASAP to get strength back into the capsule/muscles/tendons/etc. The tendon should heal once it is back in place.
The anterior portion of my right shoulder hurts when I do any resisted external rotation. The simply act of pulling something apart (like pulling off a cap from a sharpie) aggravates it. I notice that if i keep my right forearm supinated during external rotation, i can rotate farther before it hurts. Figure this is because the bicep is in a stronger position and not being stretched as much. Could the tendon be subluxating or does this sound more like bicep tendonitis?
BINGO! Sounds like subluxated bicep tendon. I always look for: anterior rotation at the anterior/medial deltoid when standing with hands by the side. Trigger points on the brachioradials muscle proximal to the elbow and trigger points where the long head of the bicep originates as well as the pectoralis muscle insertion. Does your shoulder hurt when sleeping via laying on either side?
Thanks for your reply. Just watched your video again and wondered if you could explain what shunt and gravity muscles are. Also, how do you distinguish between subluxation and bicipital tendonitis?
a shunt muscle is a muscle that, rather than producing observable motion, contracts to resist dislocating forces occurring at joints, the coracobrachialis, short head of biceps, and long head of triceps all contract to resist downward dislocating forces at the shoulder joint, as when toting luggage. a gravity muscle is a muscle that affects our alignment within the entire musculoskeletal system: cervico-occipital muscles hold our head in an erect position, preventing it from rolling forward. Bicep tendonitis will go away with rest. Subluxation --- doesn't go away from rest away from the activity.
I injured my shoulder 2 years ago while lifting a patient working as a CNA. I didn't feel a pop or anything, but immediately felt weakness and pain. I've had 2 cortisone shots, one inside my shoulder joint, and the other in the scapula area, I've had over 18 visits of strengthening PT, an x ray of my neck and shoulder, MRI, MRI arthrogram and nothing is giving a reason for why I'm having pain. I have a lot of pain in the front of my armpit and down my bicep area. I've been to several doctors and physical therapists and they have no explanation for why I'm hurting. My doctor wants to do diagnostic surgery on the 24th because he thinks it may be a bicep injury, even though my arthrogram was normal. Any ideas what it could be??
Oh and to add more detail, I have good ROM. All my measurements for them were spot on in therapy, except for when I lift my arm upward behind my back, thumb up and palm away from my back. I also couldn't reach as far back as I could with my other arm. I know you couldn't diagnose me without seeing my shoulder yourself, but I was wondering if you've have any ideas that I may be able to run across my doctor to see if he could potentially see if it is that. He did say I had a positive test for the O'Briens test and impingement test as well on a few occasions. I do have a little bit of weakness in my arm as well. He said I have a grade one instability, which is why I had to do 18 PT visits to try to correct and strengthen that, but it didn't really help. I did however excel in helping some of my nerves calm down and be stronger in PT but that's it. I'm starting to feel like I'm just crazy and the pain is being fabricated now because they have no clue what's wrong with my shoulder, but I know my body and I know the pain I feel. I can't lay on that side at all anymore and the pain is bad especially in the morning right after I wake up and when trying to sleep. I'm terrified that they're going to do the surgery and still find absolutely nothing wrong with me. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I hope I make some sense. If there's any questions I can answer that may help you help me, just ask!!
Sounds like it 'could be' your bicep tendon subluxated outside the Intertubercular Groove? Do you have tenderness in the extensor tendons where it attaches near the elbow?
Okay --- since the advanced images all are 'within normal limits' ? Then, I would recommend finding someone who is familiar with fixing that bicep tendon as a start. Did you have an MRI of your shoulder?
TheJDocRealMinute Yes, I had just a regular MRI, then I also had an MRI with contrast and both came back normal except for a tiny bit of inflammation, but they said it's fairly normal for people to have some kind of inflammation in their shoulder.
Hi! What if ive had the biceps subluxation for 5 or 10 years. Would it be harder to get it back then or the same? After trying my self to put it back in the groove without progress i had my brother help me push his fingers on my shoulder while i rotate and again with no results. I feel pain mostly when i do the inkline benchpress with dumbbells. If i use higher weights my shoulders make a hard click on every raise and drop and i have to stop because that click hurts mostly on my right side. And If i would throw a snowball hard I would probably start to cry. Do you think this biceps subluxation or just week shoulders?
I cannot make a diagnosis without doing some Orthopedic exams first. However, your symptoms sound like it could be a subluxated bicep tendon. I would suggest that you see a Chiropractor would is 'strong' enough to work on you AND has a physical fitness type of background. My experience; the 'beefier' the shoulder the harder it is to rotate back in due to shear mass of the shoulder capsule. Not saying that it can NOT be done. I just had to work much harder at it. Hope this helps.
I injured both my shoulders by swimming. I am 18 years old and have been doing lots of rotator cuff exercises since I hurt my shoulders 3 months ago, however, they still hurt. I am 99% sure that both shoulders have exactly what you just treated. Right now, I can lift as much weight as I want over my head, but when I chest press or bench press even light weights it really catches in the front of my shoulder right where the bicep tendon is. Also, any time a externally rotate my shoulders, even without any weight, the bicep tendon pops a lot. I am seeing a chiropractor right now, but she has never done anything like what you did in this video. Do you think I should tell her to try what you did in this video, or do I have something completely different?
Yes, have her try what I did in the video. I would recommend that you suggest her to watch it if she in unfamiliar with the technique. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
the soft tissue restraints that maintain the position of the long head of the biceps tendon within the groove can be injured, allowing the tendon to sublux, or partially dislocate in and out of its groove.
TheJDocRealMinute minor and possibly asymptomatic because I’m experiencing bilateral lhbt tenderness. I believe it’s due to poor posture and secondary impingement because of weak external rotators. Girl in video appears to have similar weakness.
hi, so im a baseball pitcher, and I have popping in my elbow and cracking in my shoulder, the thing is i dont have pain when these things happen, and the popping in the elbow is very inconsistent. I was wondering if this could be do to impingment in both locations due to my bicep tendon being out of the groove, or could these things be something that i experience for the rest od my life? Also to note when i try to internally rotate my hand behind my back and try to be vertical with my hand on my back, ill get discomfort and slight pain with it, was wondering if that also cpild be due to the things i stated above
TheJDocRealMinute 19, i have gone to an orthopedic and got xrays, and they say everything looks good, and i that i dont have any tendonitis. however i saw this video after that appointment so i didnt ask them about my tendons and if that could an issue. I also havent had an MRI so i dont know if their is any migament or tendon damage. right now im juat trying to fix my winged scapula issue.
TheJDocRealMinute I also cant remember if this cracking in my shoulder is a new thing, or if i have had this for years, also the elbow thing is new, so i dont know if it is a tendon thing, an impingment thing, or a nerve thing, or if it is juat because I've over time juat used it so much that this is going to be like my shoulder where there is no pain but im going to have this cracking/popping for the rest of my life
Okay --- You are 19 years old so your body is still growing at different rates; skeletal, muscle, organs, ligaments, etc.... You are a pitcher so, this mechanism of throwing the ball puts a lot of strain on the shoulder, elbow, wrist, fingers, nerves, muscles, etc. You have the; wind up, early cocking, late cocking, acceleration, deceleration, and follow through -- that puts a lot of strain from your neck to your fingers. The noises you are experiencing could be the ligaments & tendons being active in these phases. I cannot tell you if you will feel this for the rest of your life? I would recommend you asking your Orthopedic Doctor to check out the bicep tendon because maybe it could be a tendonitis that needs addressing? Question -- do you still experience the discomfort during the off season?
TheJDocRealMinute no, no discomfort, and whe. i got my xrays they said that there wasnt any tendonitis in my shoulder. like i said the stuff that happens in my shoulder and elbow dont hurt at all. the other thing when im throwing i dont hear/feel these things pop/ crack in my elbow and shoulder. its only when i slowly raise my elbow like a lateral raise with my palm facing inwards, and for my shoulder when i move my arm in a circle going backwards.
Hey, I have this problem and I’ve had it for a few years now, considering it rolls the shoulder forward, would this also make your trap muscles be overactive after a while? I’m hoping soon when I fix this problem to be able to have my shoulder back and my trap muscle being less tight, as it’s made my entire neck stiff and sore most days.
@@thejdocrealminute4648 I do. My shoulder used to sublux in the gym. It then fully dislocated under load. Have tried physio for a long time, and I still get a big burning pain in my delt, particularly front delt when doing a bicep exercise for example. Cannot train heavy at all, and there is now slight winged scapula issues.
@@thejdocrealminute4648 can you please tell me whats wrong with me? haven't been able to workout much in 6 years because of a similar shoulder issue, pain and fatigue in the front shoulder when doing things like arm circles or brushing teeth, loud snapping lifting arms up and down over head, did an MRi but the doctors say they can't see anything, tried everything but nothing helps much... if feels like theres something moving in and out of its place, and certain arm movements are painful as well thanks
I have medial subluxation of the right bicep. My physio therapist told me that putting it back in the groove wasn't an option because for it to be out of the groove would have to mean that I tore the cross ligament that holds the bicep tendon in place. I'm confused. If that is the case is it always so?
Hey doc, I fell on my shoulder when i was about 15(now 27). My arm popped out and back in and i could move my arm normally after a couple minutes, i had no swelling or weird pains that day after, why i never went to see a doc. But ever since when there is a backwards force like when throwing a ball or throwing a overhand punch. My arm feels like popping out again, it might sound weird but it feels like it wants to come inside out of my armpit and collapse. it happend like 8 times or so since then, but it never fully pops out and pops back straight away. Hence that i can do everything without pain or infringement, I have much flexibility. It only happens when there is too much recoil, or when my muscles are to relaxed and it swings at the wrong angle. I'm afraid for surgery because i'm a mma fighter. My arm never really popped out a 100%. And sometimes i have no issues at all in training, but the fear is always in the back of my mind so i cannot go a 100%. Is this always gonna stay like this even when i strengthen my scalpular muscles and is surgery unnecessary? Or do you suggest surgery before i hurt it badly and it does pop out a 100%.
A Chiropractor who: understands this situation and has worked to correct it in the past. I would recommend you do this: Call first and ask: 'I have a subluxated biceps tendon. Does He/She know what that is and how to correct it?' Period. advancedhoustonchiropractor.com/ Check him out--- I see he posted many videos online.
I had surgery in 2000 and they moved my bicep tendon to my arm (sorry I can't think of the name of the bone) and shaved the groove. I never got better. Just recently reinjured my shoulder and bicep with pain in the elbow too, I don't know what to do. Please help, if you could. Thanks.
Sir, can you develop atrophy of the shoulder because of this ? I have atrophy of the anterior and posterior deltoid along with atrophy of the brachialis. Nerve test showed brachial plexus group to be compromised somewhere....inflammation maybe ? If you could give me your thoughts please....thank you
It could be a ligament problem, correct. It could be a posterior muscle- Posterior delt/traps/rhomb/ muscle dysfunction/weakness that is causing the anterior delt/bicep tendon to be unstable. I don't believe there is ONE correct answer to that question. Everything works together. Remember, to stabilize the ligament you have to increase the muscular tone surrounding.
I've had pain here all my life whether I use light weights or heavy weights, jump rope, shadow box and sometimes jogging. Ive had surgery to shave my acromium and fix a rotator cuff but the pain is still there. I train MMA and I just tough it out. I don't have any of the weakness she has but I'm gong to try this anyway. I hope it works. It's gotten to the point to where I leave the gym not because I'm tired physically but mentally from the pain.
Okay--- having shoulder surgery means ====>you will never have the same endurance as you did before the surgery. The shoulder is a highly mobile complex (technically it is not a joint) which means that it is very prone for injury. You had major surgery which means there is scar tissue there. You are putting your post-surgery shoulder through rigorous works that it just cannot handle so, you have a pain response due to the inflammation. If you have a subluxated tendon then, have it corrected. If you were my patient? I would recommend; Acupuncture, Low Level Laser, and Chiropractic adjustments to decrease the pain and inflammation and stimulate the muscle fibers via laser to increase the ATP production.
Its actually the same exact pain as I was having before. Shaving the acromium and repairing the rotator cuff did nothing for the pain. I've had the pain I'm describing since I first started working out I just though it was part of working out. The only reason I went to the dr was because it popped one day during jiu jitsu training and it would keep going numb. Thats probably when I tore the cuff. That got fixed but the tendon pain came back. My shoulder feels the same as it did before the surgery literally no difference.
Okay --- try the adjustment. In addition, how is your diet, nutrition, supplements, and herbs used to reduce inflammation? I would get on a good supplement program to help decrease inflammation.
My diet is good But my supplementation is lacking for inflammation as I only take protein powders. I've tried glucosamine chondroitin and ibuprofen but it didn't help.Maybe a little less sore during the day after a hard chest workout but I didn't notice much. I can not work out for weeks and as soon as I work out it starts to hurt. I don't feel,it at all during the day except after a really hard chest or shoulder work out. It's really weird
There is another adjustment: move in the opposite direction. Instead of moving arm: external to internal. Move Internal to external while stabilizing bicep tendon
Hi Doctor. I am a cricket player which involves similar activity as throwing by pitchers. It also involves round motion of arms (cricket bowling). Few months ago I played a game with excessive throwing. I felt pain that day but I kept on. After that day, I feel pain around my bicep. Often hear popping sounds. I had an MRI where they found slight impingement syndrome and slight supraspenisatus tendonitis. Yestersay, after 4 months of rest, i tried to throw again but while the round motion I felt that my arm sort of gets block in its motion and with extreme pain I can't control the throw. Everything seems back to that day 1 now. I did a lot of rotator cuff strengthening excercises. After watching the video I feel now that may be the long bicep tendon is misplaced and can be a quick fix like this girl. Could you please help me with a guide. I could ask my friend or brother to do as you did in the video. Is that a good thing to do?
I injured my shoulder on bench press and my bicep tendon pops in and out it feels sore when I press it in but not really any pain but if I pick my arm up straight out with my thumb facing up it pops but if my thumbs are sideways it doesn’t if I have my arm out 90 degrees and internally rotate it pops how do I get it to stop
TheJDocRealMinute I just get a popping in the front of my shoulder when I raise my hand above my head but not every time when I workout it normally pops the first rep then stops also I can put my hand behind my back and reach up further with my other arm more than this one
TheJDocRealMinute I do long distance running and workout 4-6 days a week and box 2-3 of those days currently. When I hurt my shoulder on the bench I thought it was a slight strain it just felt a little tight and the next day I did push ups and my front shoulder area had a slight pop and sharp pain there was a small bruise within a couple minutes and I rested for 3 weeks and started back working out the popping isn't as loud as it used to be the popping it started within a few days after that injury when i tried to lift my arm it clicked every time then I'm only 17 so I don't want to keep working out and have it mess me up in the future
sir please I also have the same problem and I don't know anyone who can heal me here in mauritius sir please come over here or pray for a miracle for me please!!!!

chiropractors just make shit up. it sounds kind of sciency and he is using terminology a real doctor would. but the way he puts it together is so speculative and untested
Seal Sniffer I know first hand that a chiropractor was the only one who could help my back pain. I have horrible hips, neck, and back pain until I got realigned. I later needed to go to a PT to strengthen my muscles to help keep my body in alignment, but they definitely know what they're talking about and go to school for many years.
to negate an entire field of health practitioners is quite ignorant. as a doctor and also a therapist myself, i can vouch for his "terminology" and treatments as valid. a chiropractor helped me walk again after no doctor could. after many surgeries to cut nerves out of my feet, a chiropractor found the pain was coming from my young healthy back. he looked where nobody else ever did b/c I had no back symptoms. then i went to med school. i refer to, and see chiropractors regularly. there are flakes as in ANY field. and there are people with years of experience working with bodies and patients and injuries, how can you say that he has no real knowledge. kettle calling pot black, troll.
He is explaining what he is doing. This is an educational video as well. My chiropractor doesn't explain to me what he is doing. I wish I was closer to this Chiropractor so I would have a better understand what is happening to my body.
You are welcome. Thank you for the comment.
Thank you so much for this video! I’ve had the same thing for three weeks and my chiropractor had never heard of this adjustment. I called 12 different chiropractors locally and finally one of them knew exactly what I was talking about and he was able to adjust me. What a relief!
Glad it was helpful!
Most chiropractors are hacks. Not this guy. I have the same issue and would visit this guy tomorrow if he were nearby.
I myself am a healthcare professional and have access to all kinds of healthcare in my hometown of Los Angeles, but I plan on flying to Illinois to be seen by this Doctor for my dislocated bicep tendon.
Looking forward to our call. :)
Thank you for your comment and support.

Hopefully I’ve just learned what my issue is. Thanks for the video Amazing work
Glad it helped
Yeah doc, I have visited many doctors here frequently but there is no result eventhough doing some regular back exercise for some instant muscle get relaxed while doing some house works again it tends to get tighten up which makes my back hurts a lot. Hope that you will help me to get rid off from this pain which I have been facing for around 10 years. And mainly thanks for you response doctor.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you Sir. Outstanding information!

Thank you for your comment.
This knows his stuff. Very detailed
thank you for your comment and support.
I am suffering from this now. Why does it seem most Chiropractors don't know how to adjust and fix this? I wish I was by you.
Question: Did you get an MRI on that shoulder to see if there is any ligament damage or soft tissue damage?

Do this first until the pain is around 20%.
ruclips.net/video/W-HMcC8qxRM/видео.htmlm -- I recommend this exercise to properly warm up the shoulder.

Hi Doc,
I’ve been having issues for about 3 years now on and off.
I can’t weight train any upper body now and I’m losing any muscle I’ve built, I’m 44 years old
Get an updated MRI.
So do i go to chiropractor or a physical therapist
Go to the specialist who is familiar with this condition.

If you have this same problem can it cause looseness of the shoulder when you hold your arm across your body
how many people can actually do this
Wow this is really interesting. So you're saying tendonitis is actually the tendon popping out of the groove?
Tendonitis --inflammation of the tendon. This is a bicep tendon subluxation. Which CAN cause the tendon to become inflamed. Two totally different situations.
Thanks for the info!
You bet!
Can you show some exercises to do this myself as i dont have a person to help me

Did you get an MRI on that shoulder?

I would recommend seeing a Chiropractor who is familiar with this situation.
Would this technique help with thoracic outlet syndrome??
It may. They are all connected.
Hey Doc, Do you know of any Chiropractors in the Houston, TX that can perform the manipulation of the bicep tendon or do you have a recommendation for a doctor? I have called several offices and haven't found one yet.
Good question. I am surprised that there are NOT many DC's who know this technique? I don't know anyone... Keep trying -- would be my suggestion.
Thank you

Have you had an MRI? Something could be torn in there.

Can anyone recommend some exercises to tighten the tendon and keep it in the groove? Thanks in advance
Any exercise that stresses the Posterior Deltoid muscle will help. I recommend looking through RUclips to find the exercise that works for you.
thank you for the detailed explaination!
is that the transverse humeral ligament become lossen so that the tendon moves out of the bicipital groove?
if so, can the ligament heal itself and become tight again? or any rehab can help the healing?
again, thank you so much for the info!
Ligaments take time to heal. To lessen the chance of subluxation again ....strengthen the muscles surrounding it. Increase Vitamin C intake to AT LEAST 4,000 mg daily to help heal the ligaments.
@@thejdocrealminute4648 i thought ligaments dont heal? Lack of blood supply. Why do I always have conflicting information regarding this.

Bicep tendonitis may be treated with avoiding the activity that is causing the inflammation. In addition, with your workouts ----avoid doing bicep curls that put your arms into extension behind your body; incline dumbell curls, etc...
Always cool down the inflammation with Ice pack for 20 minutes .
I can put mine back in by myself.
The problem is that it pops out doing the simplest of things like pushing a swivel kitchen tap.
Is there meant to be something holding the tendon into the groove?
Could be. Important to build the posterior delt muscles for stabilization.
what is the causes of non compeleted internal rotion of shoulder and fully biceps down into the palm thank u
Hi Doc,
thanks for the video.
IF the tendon slipped out? It will not likely go back on its own. You have to find a qualified Doctor who is familiar with this situation to help you.
i think this is what i have, been suffering for about a year after a heavy lift. can i sort this myself ?
I recommend seeing a specialist who is familiar with this technique.
Saw another chiro at the same clinic. Asked if anything could be done about my displaced long head bicep tendon. I was told to not move my arm in ways that causes pain, rest and use heat and ice. Wil these things help?
Yes, it will help. But -- you need it corrected.

Dear Dr. When this young lady goes back to pitching, what can be done to prevent this from happening again, and if it does, how common of an occurrence might it be? Will she have to continually come back for placing the tendon back into the Humeral groove?
Thank you.
I always recommend to strengthen the posterior delts and posterior muscles for stabilize the anterior flexors.
Please get in touch sir if possible 🙏
Man i need this mans help asap 😩
TheJDocRealMinute
Many thanks for the reply. I'll increase my rear delt work accordingly.
Easiest way to strengthen the shoulder complex/bicep tendon is to increase the strength of the rear deltoids.
Thank you for your time!
check my above comment. For some reason I couldn't post under your name
TheJDocRealMinute thank you for your time :)
You are welcome. Thank you for asking.
Thank you 😊
Thank you for the comment. Have you had it looked at by a professional?
I did sir, he tested me for bicep tears on both biceps, but it came out i have no issues. What i think he did not understand is that i get pain and discomfort and the pulling sensation in my tendon after completing reps of biceps curs and even worse on pull ups. It's very demoralizing, please some advice sir :)
Also sir, my biceps tendons on both sides have started to move and hear that pop effect when raising my arms up and rotate from any position.
Have you given it a chance to rest? Stop eating sugar, gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, and peanuts. These foods accelerate inflammation.
TheJDocRealMinute Thanks!
Question: deep pressure on the extensor tendon at the elbow/brachioradialis muscle elicit a pain response? If so? Could be a subluxation.
a shunt muscle is a muscle that, rather than producing observable motion, contracts to resist dislocating forces occurring at joints, the coracobrachialis, short head of biceps, and long head of triceps all contract to resist downward dislocating forces at the shoulder joint, as when toting luggage.
a gravity muscle is a muscle that affects our alignment within the entire musculoskeletal system: cervico-occipital muscles hold our head in an erect position, preventing it from rolling forward.
Bicep tendonitis will go away with rest. Subluxation --- doesn't go away from rest away from the activity.
I need your help man. Who do I need to go see if this is a problem of mine
I would recommend seeing a Chiropractic Physician who is FAMILIAR with this condition.
TheJDocRealMinute I have a little bit of tenderness there, but it's mostly in my arm right where my armpit is where it's really tender and sore
TheJDocRealMinute Wow, thanks for the super fast response. I’ll definitely tell her. Thanks again!
You are welcome. Let me know how it goes.
Any update? Feeling similar symptoms now
How can the biceps tendon sublux out of the inter-tubercular groove if the transverse humeral ligament is not ruptured?
the soft tissue restraints that maintain the position of the long head of the biceps tendon within the groove can be injured, allowing the tendon to sublux, or partially dislocate in and out of its groove.
TheJDocRealMinute currently battling biceps tendonitis with a slap so trying to learn all I can
How bad is the SLAP?
TheJDocRealMinute minor and possibly asymptomatic because I’m experiencing bilateral lhbt tenderness. I believe it’s due to poor posture and secondary impingement because of weak external rotators. Girl in video appears to have similar weakness.
A minor SLAP tear may cause a lot of discomfort as well. It is a combination effect causing the shoulder pain.
hi, so im a baseball pitcher, and I have popping in my elbow and cracking in my shoulder, the thing is i dont have pain when these things happen, and the popping in the elbow is very inconsistent. I was wondering if this could be do to impingment in both locations due to my bicep tendon being out of the groove, or could these things be something that i experience for the rest od my life? Also to note when i try to internally rotate my hand behind my back and try to be vertical with my hand on my back, ill get discomfort and slight pain with it, was wondering if that also cpild be due to the things i stated above
question -- how old are you? Have you had this checked out by an Athletic Doctor?
Yes -- it will roll that shoulder forward.

Did you do some sort of imaging to find out her bicep tendon snapped out or could you tell just through feeling it?
I have medial subluxation of the right bicep. My physio therapist told me that putting it back in the groove wasn't an option because for it to be out of the groove would have to mean that I tore the cross ligament that holds the bicep tendon in place. I'm confused. If that is the case is it always so?
Did you have an MRI?
TheJDocRealMinute I had an xray and ultra sound
I read the report. It doesn't mention the ligament. Just says subluxation of the right bicep tendon. No sign of dislocation. May relate to trauma.
what type of trauma did you have?
It didn't say, but I do lift weights for bodybuilding and work construction.

Thank you for your comment. I would recommend contacting a Chiropractor who is familiar with this condition.
is bicep tendon held in to groove by transverse humeral ligament ?
Correct. It is.
So im thinking, there must be a ligament problem for it to sublux ?
It could be a ligament problem, correct. It could be a posterior muscle- Posterior delt/traps/rhomb/ muscle dysfunction/weakness that is causing the anterior delt/bicep tendon to be unstable. I don't believe there is ONE correct answer to that question. Everything works together. Remember, to stabilize the ligament you have to increase the muscular tone surrounding.
thank you for answer :)
You are welcome. Thank you for asking.
You are awesome for replying back btw! No one ever has lol
What can be done if the tendon does role out laterally. My pain runs along the tricep
You can still roll it back in. Just need to use a different roll technique
TheJDocRealMinute sir please help me!!
Super thxs
Hey Doc.
Are you familiar with biological stem cell injections ? I had one to build up a diminished biceps tendon
Yes, I have heard success stories regarding stem cell injections. Congratulations!
Lean Healthy Lifestyle how did it work out?
I injured my shoulder on bench press and my bicep tendon pops in and out it feels sore when I press it in but not really any pain but if I pick my arm up straight out with my thumb facing up it pops but if my thumbs are sideways it doesn’t if I have my arm out 90 degrees and internally rotate it pops how do I get it to stop
When did this happen?
TheJDocRealMinute it's been happening for months probably about 6-7
TheJDocRealMinute I just get a popping in the front of my shoulder when I raise my hand above my head but not every time when I workout it normally pops the first rep then stops also I can put my hand behind my back and reach up further with my other arm more than this one
How old are you?
sir please I also have the same problem and I don't know anyone who can heal me here in mauritius sir please come over here or pray for a miracle for me please!!!!
Ask a Chiropractor or a specialist who does manual therapy: 'Do you know how to manipulate a subluxated bicep tendon?' --- If "NO"? -- find someone who does. Good luck!
TheJDocRealMinute sir in my country only deceivers and thiefs. No good docs over here. Can you do some videos of Self adjustments or some mobility for elbow and wrist carpal bones and for the glenohumeral joints also. Some Self adjustments and fixes. please sir thanks.....
sir please send me something for my elbow joint is in pretty bad shape and my shoulder is unstable and keeps pops out.... my biceps is subluxed and having great trouble since many months..... I'm bedridden and I need help sir.....
You can always search RUclips for self-adjustments.
If you are in that much pain I would recommend going to the hospital and see how they can help you.
Gosh, I need you, lol! I wish you were in Chico, California.
been to chico, been to sierra Nevada brewery, awesome.
i just adjusted my biceps and I'm checking whether or not i did it right. i feel like a lonesome god among men.
This happened to me from swinging a bat.
Yes---- that is one of the many ways it happens.
Baddie
chiropractors just make shit up. it sounds kind of sciency and he is using terminology a real doctor would. but the way he puts it together is so speculative and untested
why would you say this?
I am sorry you feel this way. Have you ever been to a Chiropractor?

This guy talks more then he adjusts
He is explaining what he is doing. This is an educational video as well. My chiropractor doesn't explain to me what he is doing. I wish I was closer to this Chiropractor so I would have a better understand what is happening to my body.
He’s a great clinician and making a video, both of which require a lot of talking. He’s spot on.
