I really like how you don’t just plaster ur art style on other people’s work. Some people fix things that are just art style differences and it just turns into a “how I would draw it” rather than a guidance video.

For real, recently I had written a comment on a relism eye tutorial short, just like a fun little joke, like 'Laughs in anime style' or smthn, and then a random Person comes up to me, telling me I wouldnt improve if I didnt Lear relism first. Like bruh, I do know some, and I Dont essencially NEED it to improve. I can learn anatomy wiout realism. Just like the shoulder thing in this video. I was refenrecing a vid from lavendertowne too, and they just straight up said 'Well she not good either'. They were just hating on any artsyle that wasn't realism. Congrats if you actually read this piece of thought my brain had, take a whatever emoji that is 🐠
@@Jul._.777 yeah I notice I alot of people style shame by saying “if you don’t draw realism first, your not gonna improve” but that’s not particularly true I started with cartoon art and I’ve been getting very good at realism! I’ve studied anatomy for about 2years now and I’m improving on that aspect of my art! (I’ve been drawing for my whole life and I’m not gonna give out my age but I will say I have my fair share of experience for art) and one thing I really take away is from it is to try to understand proportion but keep your true art style close to your heart! I dont understand some people- LIKE REBEKAH IS THE SWEETEST AND KINDEST PERSON ON EARTH And she has started this series just so she can help new artists so BACK OFF HATERS
17:00 i’m really confused with this one because of the difference in skill level with the clothes and the head. the clothes look really detailed and skilled but the face, hair and hands are shaded with a white airbrush and are drawn with thicker, less refined black lines. it looks like the artist cut and paste their own head onto another artists work? the character is also really disconnected to the background and looks like it’s been cut out. if you look closely you’ll see where the skill level changes and the weird inconsistencies where that happens. maybe the artist used ai or used someone else’s art for the clothes.
Hi! I’m the artist for the last one and I want to say it does kinda look like that, I usually do the face with a very simple style and I and I wanted to practice my clothing skill (I can send the proof if you want!)
@@Tart03 oh it didn’t look like ai art really it just looks like a detailed drawing i just couldn’t find the drawing anywhere so i said that as an option and do you have discord? or you could upload it on youtube
Hey! Just to let you know, I think your wording is abit .... yk, I think it would be better if you said "it looks like Ai art" rather then saying the artist "use someone else's drawing for the clothes" or "the artist used ai art" , because not only does it sound incredibly rude, it could possibly hurt the artist if they did drew it, just a reminder! (sorry for my bad English!)
Awwe wish I submitted. I'll do it next time but it still is helpful to see you critique other peoples art! I learn things this way aswell. Oh I also recognized this fanartm its basil from the game omori 3:41
Wow these people might have some flaws but thier art is way better then mine for sure. Good Job for critique thier art. This way they will find a little mistakes and improve much more. But by far I love these people submission. For my art. I know I still need work. Lol sometimes my art can be flat and the coloring plus sharing is plain lol. I still need to improve on those aspects.

I dont understand some people- LIKE REBEKAH IS THE SWEETEST AND KINDEST PERSON ON EARTH
And she has started this series just so she can help new artists so BACK OFF HATERS
@@Tart03 oh can i see the speedpaint cus i also want to learn to render clothes like that :0
@@oliversart Sure! Where can I send it to you? And also wanted to say sorry for it looking like AI art!
@@Tart03 oh it didn’t look like ai art really it just looks like a detailed drawing i just couldn’t find the drawing anywhere so i said that as an option
and do you have discord? or you could upload it on youtube
Omg i luv this series.
Awwe wish I submitted. I'll do it next time but it still is helpful to see you critique other peoples art! I learn things this way aswell.
Oh I also recognized this fanartm its basil from the game omori 3:41
7:00 Holy mother of god. Its so good.
I still need to improve on those aspects.
also on the kokomi one i just wanted to use the inazuma background it was on ourpose i promise i want being lazy 😞
I agree with the comment below me
Hi! Can’t remember if I have already commented, but this video was really helpful! Also, just wanted to ask, when will you draw people’s OC again?
I love this series❤!!
This seems really fun, can someone tell me where I can go to submit my own art? Thanks

Oh ya on there’s a knew one!
I don't know if someone already suggested this or not but I was wondering if you could make a tutorial video because your art is so good!!
