solo backpacking in joshua tree for my birthday

happy birthday to myself
gina min was birthed 22 years ago from their mother's womb into this cruel and beautiful world. in order to celebrate, gina went on a long 2 day / 8 mile walk in the backcountry of joshua tree national park (along the boy scout trail). they wanted to rid themselves of unnecessary distractions and focus intently upon the most basic actions of life: walking, breathing, observing, listening, hydrating, eating, peeing, sleeping, and suffering. haha just kidding. maybe. yes, it was a long and difficult journey, but gina understood that one must do difficult things in order to grow as a human.
