It's for me. Light gravel, rail trail, dodgy country roads, exploring country towns and surrounds, steep descents with damp patches and tightening radius corners, lively or leisurely path rides, people who like a lively feel.
@@AndyClarkRealReviews I just got mine on Monday. So far I've done 3 rides, 2 x coastal MUP and one Northern Rivers Rail Trail. It's a dream. I'm currently rehabbing from a ruptured quad tendon and still very weak in my right leg, and riding is my lifeline to sanity and recovery. Our roads have gone to crap here in Northern NSW, Australia, with several years of flooding and an influx of COVID refugees bring city driving habits making normal road riding just hopeless. Getting off road, but on a bike that still brings a thrill, is perfect.
Soooo, with 40's you're definitely going to see loss of 'road' performance, even if they're slicks. I'd recommend a second, aero wheelset with 28c or 30c to switch to for pure road days.
Yes! Killer bike, but originally designed for cyclocross - which means snappier handling and a slightly higher BB and stand over. But if you can find an affordable one, it makes an awesome all-rounder too!!

This is probably the most refreshing and friendly comment in Internet history! Thank you, thank you thank you 🤩

What about the rod who wants a gravel do it all but doesn't want to lose road performance even with ~40c tires on it?
