Okay so I don't know if this is a unpopular opinion but i do believe Blackhat honestly cares about the team. If he didn't he would've kill 5.0.5 because he believes his a failure but he keeps him around granted as a house cleaner but yiu know he could get flug to do that and he also has the Blackhat bots so why keep 5.0.5, dementia (cant spell her name right) annoys him constantly and doesn't really do any work hell she's chained up half the time but he still keeps her around, and finally flug is his head (and only) scientist so it makes sense why Blackhat keeps him but flug fails from time to time and if Blackhat was truly as evil as he said he would he'd be going through Scientist on a weekly maybe even daily basis. But yet the three are still around granted they are tortured daily with great pleasure from Blackhat but once again he could just do the same with others that he hires what makes these three so special. Maybe just maybe Blackhat isn't so heartless
Oh wow this is a stunning animation. The emotions are so deep and present here. The fact that Flug writes a fake love note for Demencia just so she'll be happy in ignorance and Flug having complicated feelings about the villain he looked up to and destroying all the paintings in hallway and envisioning all the ways he could end it but choosing not to.

Agghhh, I love this,,, the slow transition of Flug's change of emotion is everything. How he goes from destroying BH's portraits to leaning against the main portrait at the end,,, ouch. Wonderful work, even if I'm multiple years late
I love it! for once someone gave them accurate personalities! The drawings and quality is amazing! You didn't need to make so many frames but you did and for that i applaud you!
I know it's so refreshing to actually see everyone portrayed so well rather than a whole paper hat story (nothing wrong with what u ship but I feel like that is just kinda odd)

I know this is late but I have a couple things to say. 1) that letter was LAYERED. A way of comforting Demencia by giving her the lie that Black Hat loved her, cared about her, thought deeply enough about her that his last correspondence was for her. An act of spite against Black Hat by insinuating that he would do something as mushy and emotional as write a goodbye love letter for anyone, much less Demencia. Insulting him by telling people that he’s capable of complex emotions after he’s no longer around to defend himself. His own way of tearing down Black Hat's legacy and image by giving the one creature he despised most of all something entirely antithetical to who he was. 2) Flug's rampage. Rampage isn’t even the word for it- he was just calmly destroying the portraits Black Hat treasured (ah, I get it, he’s destroying his image, like with the letter, it’s eleventh grade English class in here!) and meticulously making sure that all that’s left is a sneering, snide little man that was too scared to open up to people until it was too late. He wasn’t worthy of the reverence and power these pictures projected. So burn ‘em all. Except that one. 3) Flug isn’t ready to forget this part of his life. He wants to let go of it and move on, find something new and better with his friends, and with Black Hat gone he can, but he doesn’t want to forget. Because for better or for worse, Black Hat saw him as a genius of his time, he took chances on him when no one else did. He wants to let go, but try as he might, he can’t erase everything. Not completely. But in spite of how much he might want to, he has to face (ha) the world head on (ha ha), take off his bag, and leave Black Hat behind. 4) the subtle hinting that 505 was singing the “I gave you the world you threw it away" part. Idk if that was intentional but that’s how I got it and it was gorgeous. 505 didn’t have a lot to give but he was willing to give Black Hat, Flug, Demencia, everything he had to make them happy. And Black Hat, if he indeed offed himself, threw that all away. Indeed, there’s "nothing to say." All in all, stunning. I loved this so much. Thank you. 🧁💖🥰
