Before creating the "Macro for the 3Degre line "make sure the line option" subDFriendly " is set to NO. then create the Macro. I just love your videos Thanks for all the tips
Mr. Houchens , my boat , it turned out beautiful, very similar to yours. The only thing is that it took me 4 days to do it. I think that a little practice I can doing fast!
Only for simplicity and speed sake, the toy biz could care less about class a surfacing. As you see later in the video when I cage edit it and those single spans all go bye bye
isolate is the command to isolate, show is the command to show the parts. you can assign these to an alias or button- the level 2 manual (chapter 3) has a chapter on how to do this docs.mcneel.com/rhino/6/training-level2/en-us/Default.htm
Hello mate, thanks very much for this. Very good demo. This might be stupid question as I am a very beginner. Can you please give some clue why the mirrored object does not update automatically when original part modified? E.g., I drew a curve and mirrored it. Then I drag one of the control points of the original curve and its shape changed but the mirrored curve keep unchanged as if nothing happened. Any advise? Many thanks!
Hi Mr. Houchens, Because in my case with Rhino 8 when I try to extrude and move the object it does not refer to the control points like it does for you? at part 44:50 of the video. I already activated all the object references and it still continues to extrude freely. thanks for the support.
not sure I understand.. can you clarify your question? You can loft between curves or edges, but they all have to be open or all have to be closed, can't mix open and closed curves for a loft.

thank you for sharing...
Can you post the draft to the discourse and ask for a mini challenge to see what the people on the forums come up with? I think it would be fun :D
Grab a screen shot of the sketch and give it a go! We always love to see what users build after watching the videos.
Glad to see some single span stuff happening

yep, gotta make sure history is enabled first, then do your mirror. then any updates will reflect to the mirrored piece

set your gumball to have "snappy dragging" in the gumball preferences.
Hello! How can you choose between loft and edgesrf?
