    Great sugarcane videos! Where did you get the wide tub to catch the water from the container? Thank you for showing the details. Wishing you abundance and radiance!

    I live in St Louis Mo and was thinking they would be difficult to grow here. Your growing them in Nebraska so there is hope. Where would I look for pieces of sugarcane to start my cane garden?

    • @hutsadyk
      @hutsadyk  4 года назад +2

      Definitely hope, our gardening zones look pretty close, I'm 5b and St. Louis looks like its 6a. I originally bought mine off an ebay selling in the spring, now I just replant from my cane each year.

      @@hutsadyk Thank you for such a quick response. Never hurts to ask... do you have enough that you may be interested in selling me a few pieces? (2 or 3)

    • @hutsadyk
      @hutsadyk  4 года назад

      @@billpreiss Yah I would be fine doing that, however not until the spring. If I did it now it would require cutting down plants that are getting mature but not quite there. The new plantings would be small and probably not make it through the winter even indoors.

    What type and ratio of Nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus so you use? I’m growing sugar cane in florida and growth slowed after three months.

    • @hutsadyk
      @hutsadyk  4 года назад +1

      I've noticed P and K don't really help. I go heavy on N and when I fertilize I use a N heavy liquid fertilizer like Alaska Fish Fertilizer in liquid. I use a fertilizer with P and K maybe once per season. Temps and amount of direct sunlight could have slowed growth as well
