I just want to be honest i made a snarky comment when you were talking about btc dominance about a year ago. I think i just wanted you to be wrong and took out the frustration on all the money I lost on you. I hope you can reframe these mean comments you get thusly. I think its just a lot of hurt people who were overconfident coping. I hope you keep telling the truth no matter what people say because at the end of the day your still changing the perspectives of previous snarkers like myself for the better and Ive learned so much listening to your videos. Dont take peoples anguish fueled rudeness to heart. People have trouble seeing influencers as real humans on the internet. Anyone seriously interested in learning knows your the man.
I love the accountability friend. Also I don’t see ben as an influencer, i see him as an analyst and a teacher. Even a quantitative analysis in truth because thats what he is. He could be on wall street right now . Instead he’s helping us be great investors.

Ben PLEASE keep making these hour long plus videos, I LOVE THEM. Those who do not like these long formats hate knowledge and most likely don’t do their due diligence on any of their investments other than crypto as well. I appreciate these long videos to my core. I always listen to videos on 1.5x speed in every video i watch not only yours, so 1 hour is NOTHING. Personally id love 2 hours if I’m being honest. Keep up the good work ben

I think your arguments are making sense. Its QT, inflation is high, regular consumer is out of money. Bitcoin is safe, therefore most money will be moved into it as a safe asset. Thats pretty much it. If you have cash, just wait.

Watch the iran israel scare days ago, bitcoin behaved like a risk asset which it is. Times were calm between october and april, one sign of stress and suddenly btc is not „like gold“ anymore

@@vladik4463 I believe the dissent you are arguing comes from a long/short term perspective. In reality, nothing is without risk, so calling bitcoin a risk asset is somewhat a thin argument. Ben's thesis has always been macro so that's the purpose of what I wrote above. In addition, we are speaking of crypto here.

Loved ben's view on btc.dom for 2 years but its close the end of the run, btc narratives are done, etf, halving. Btc has only "risk off" or relative safer asset in play now. So yeah nice run ben but it's time for grandpa btc to take a nap until the next bear

Why isn't fall of 2017 a more appropriate comparison? ETHBTC going down, Fed's balance sheet going down, funds rate elevated and rising, BTC had a big drop after a big run up... and then climbed another 500% to make a new ATH.

Definitely think you should wait. I’m waiting because what’s the catalyst? Once the halving is over I think it’s very possible many alts get cut in half
The response by Israel against Iran, and the potential fallout from that. is the biggest factor that will affect price IMO, at least in the short-term. Everyone is in wait and see mode.

Dubious speculation: refusal of ETH ETF end of May starts the crash of eth and eth/btc. Finds bottom in june-july as you say. Once grayscale sues sec we get instant rebound starting the rise of eth/btc. Eth outperforms btc in H2 2024. Im loading up on ETH as it dips

i dont think this is right. When we look back in time ( previous cycle ) We can see that after the halving nothing happend for a few couple months. I think what will happen is we go back down ( because we're ahead if we compare to other cycles ) and will slowly go back up and we will start go parabolic in oktober until march. go back down for abit and start again go parabolic in 2025.

If we get a left translated cycle peak, my thinking is alt season is cancelled.
I think that ETH is still a good buy and hold rn if you farm points with it. Especially for projects with 1-10 billion valuations. The risk-adjusted returns are really good. I know some ppl refuse to take smart contract risks. But if you never take any, you're stuck with such limited options.
