@@PbVeritas It hit $3 when it literally had NOTHING built on top of it yet. Smart contracts were released at the top during the Vasil hardfork, and frankly the developer experience was dogshit then because all you could do is use Haskell to build SCs, and PlutusV1 wasn't optimized at all. Surprisingly only 2 years later the Cardano ecosystem is booming with a lot of daily volume being traded. From multiple DEXs to stable coins to lending/borrowing/NFT platforms, and a billion dollar treasury system where people can vote to fund projects. A thriving community that is building because of major improvements in the dev experience. People have literally built several compilers in the past months just to onboard developers more easily in order to not have to learn an esoteric language like Haskell. You can build SCs now in Python, Typescript, Aiken, Helios and some other languages.

I don't understand why anybody should be mad at you for these kind of videos but I guess this is crypto after all... Still bullish on ADA/USD for the bull cycle but it's good to see where we are at the moment.

Thought to myself that I should watch this to make up my mind, and you convinced me to wait. Finally understood what you have been talking about for the past 2 years about quantitative tightening and q.e. Thank you
As I said in the video, the ADA/USD valuation is trickier than ADA/BTC and ADA/ETH.
ADA/USD depends on BTC/USD, but ADA/BTC and ADA/ETH likely go down no matter the direction of BTC/USD, at least until the Fed pivots.
So the point is that BTC gives you exposure to the upside, while minimizing your downside risk (compared to ALTs).
That will change at some point later this year is my guess.

Remember, my strong convictions are on ADA/BTC, not ADA/USD. ADA/USD will go wherever BTC/USD goes (directionally), whereas ADA/BTC goes down either way until the Fed pivots

So do I understand correctly.
QT = Altcoins bleed into BTC
QE = investors tent venture into the Altcoins again( taking a bit more risk on )
2nd point , BTC in an upward dominance trend will also suck liquidity and value from the Altcoins.
So my take away is, play with Altcoins if you like the taste of higher risk with possibly higher rewards but either way BTC still is the best into which to invest , during QT,QE,BTC dominance high or low.
I've learned so much from your btc dominance videos! I finally understand your view and it helped me a lot over the last few years. A lot of people just want to hear which altcoin is gonna pump next but I think understanding the market as you do is so much more valuable for the longterm. THANK YOU! Just like in video games, if you are encountering enemies, it means you are going the right way. Please don't make decisions based on preserving people's feelings. It will make the communication less clear for the rest of us (and it probably won't stop those specific people from hating you anyway).

Ben's reference to the term oscillator has helped me find decent entry points. If you value this idea, buying your preferred Alt's when they hit historical lows against BTC and then bounce into a recovery can be one very good strategy. Ride the seesaw any day, it's beats the hell out of a Lambo.
Thanks for the great analysis and to provide a new perspective. Looking at the pattern, it looks ADA did its way down already, so moving out of ADA or other alts at this point of time seems to be a very bad idea. Pretty much like selling when market are down 40%, should it be rather the time to buy ? US elections are coming soon, so QE and rates are very likely to change soon.

I encourage you to keep pointing out what you see. It's a useful grounding in this crazy crypto world. Who else is going to say it? That said, I'd be genuinely interested in your analysis of some of the altcoins that are more Darlings this run like Solana add avax and imx.
All altcoins eventually bleed into bitcoin. Btc is the apex predator of all assets.
I would be surprised if BTC has more upside in this bullrun than ADA...

“Ada only went up because Bitcoin went up” so Bitcoin is going up because altcoins are bleeding back to Bitcoin but also when Bitcoin goes up altcoins go up?
