Hey guyyyyssss yessss!! A new release, I am so excited!
So, Lost in Space has been in the works now for like, three years but we just never got around to getting it completed. I remember Merry sent me the instrumental for this one and never intended this to be a Forest Elves song because at the time, we weren't really using many electronic elements in our music.
When I first heard it though, I knew we had to turn this into something and that it was perfect for Forest Elves! It didn't take much to convince Merry once I started to work on some lyrics and got some vocals recorded.
This is one of my favourite originals from us so far, so I'm so happy it's complete and I hope you guys like what we did, even though it's a bit of a different direction than a lot of our other tracks! :)

Hello!
It's been such a long time since we uploaded anything so we decided this time the Elves are taking you to SPACE! :D
No worries we won't be staying too long.
Who knows where our next song goes~
We have, as always some more songs in the making and tons of instrumentals waiting for our voices. And maybe with me feeling finally better we might upload some more. I really hope so. At least singing and making music is much more enjoyable again and I'm actually really motivated to do so.
I intended to upload it to my channel without lyrics just the way it was. Until I showed it to Jordi who convinced me to turn this one into a Forest Elves project and he directly came up with lyrics as well! I should stop showing stuff to Jordi or I never get anything uploaded on my channel again... I'm just kidding. It's actually a good thing because I always love to work with him because he often gives me the much needed perspective to believe in my music and he has many amazing ideas!
As always I thought it might not fit the style of music we usually make but that's not so bad. In the end I love to experiment with sounds and different things. And so does Jordi so of course we had to do this song together.

And no matter how long it took to finish, this is yet another triumph. Everything that I adore about your other original songs is here, because even with electronic instruments, your style ans the heart of your music remains unchanged. But this time, there is also a darkness that adds so much more. Especially at the end when, having been enchanted as usual, even by the sinister depth of Merry's original score, the faint and desperate radio distress call drives home the idea that the lyrics and the title aren't merely a metaphor. Seriously, 'Thumbs Up' for Merry's voice acting, on top of my usual praise for you both. And while your incredible music is always worth the wait, I truly hope that it won't be another year until you upload your next song, hahaha. **Applause!** ^_^
