In other words, we can’t tell you if he’s good because we’re three morons, but if he ends up being good, then we’ll tell you.

Can make all throws? Has that it factor. Makes others around him better. 😊

Mego has the most logical approach for this project that is 3rd pick which is playing on the 4-13 team in a rebuild.

I’m a lot more excited about Maye than I ever was with Jones. Hoping Maye can show the league something completely new in a good way

It will all boil down to how well the OL protects Maye. Maye is very smart but you can’t have five opponents in the backfield every play.

How do you know he is smart. He couldn't even beat clemson last year and they don't have a NFL qb and is the weakest they have been in 10 years or more

I think that the most asinine thing that I keep hearing people say is, "Maye just needs some good coaching and all those pesky problems will go away." Between college and summer camps Maye has had excellent coaching and it shows in the times when he actually does things the way he has been coached. The problem is that Drake demonstrates an alarming inability to consistently play the way he has been coached. The "we will coach him up" myth rarely works and when it does it is with a player who just needed a few twinks, not someone who basically needs to learn how to play quarterback.

Stop with comparing the two, the character and talent between them is totally different, watch interviews and tape before generalizing Drakes potential

At least we know that Bill Belichick won't screw him up and Matt Patricia is long gone.

These commentators keep saying the same stupid things. "He has the traits of a great QB," and his physical traits are great. What they are not saying is that his mental traits are scary bad and his QB skills are very, very poor. The whole draft cycle has been frustrating because the NE commentators are so lazy that all they watch is the highlights. If they know anything about football and actually watched the complete games he played against any good team last year they would know that if Maye ever becomes a QB it is going to take years to get him there. Anyone who disagrees with this take WATCH THE FILM! (not the highlights)
