Hey Pluto Fam! This is my very first movie reaction to a full length movie so don’t judge me😅😅, these will get better as I go! This will be a 3 part reaction, so let me know your thoughts. Hope yall enjoy 🚀💛👑🎶 If you want to watch the Full (unedited) reaction you have to follow my patreon. RUclips blocked for Copyright, so I had to edit a lot out here unfortunately🥹😅
Zanzibar is an island off the African coast of Tanzania. Freddie’s parents were British subjects from India His father worked for a British government office in the (at the time) British Protectorate of Zanzibar where Freddie was born. He attended an English boarding school in India from age 8-17. The British Protectorate was terminated in 1963 resulting in a revolution and causing the family to leave for London.
The trucker hooking up with Freddie at the gas station is Adam Lambert, the frontman for Queen for over 10 years. It was fun to see that cameo in the movie. It made me laugh.
You are right in the aspect they did jump around in certain events. They started with live aid, and then went to very beginning when Freddie worked at an airport before Queen formed. If you really want a true look into Queen I would suggest the Days of our Lives documentary. The actors that they got were very well selected, IMO.
I think most of the people who went to see the movie were fans so knew a lot of the story, if the covered everything in detail it would ended up longer than gone with the wind. Freddie and Mary never married,a lot of people get that bit wrong. Zanzibar is near India Freddie was sent at 8 to India aged 8 the boarding school . Lice your reactions xx
Not that near it took Freddie quite a few hours to and from his boarding school in India, The Untold Story gives a better insight from the people who knew Fred, namely his mother and sister along with Mary and Dr Sir Brian May Roger Taylor CBE
@@andreakormosnekacso4804 slightly further away when Fred attended school as he didn't fly to and from, took him from memory a couple of days travelling by train and boat
I've never seen the film and no intention too, however both Sir Brian and Roger have said this isn't a documentary so the timeline isn't correct so no one should think it's correct, they couldn't fit over twenty years of being together into a couple of hours of a film, so Freddie was still diagnosed in 1987 not before Live Aid, he had a throat infection at the time of Live Aid and a lot of lemon, honey and tea on top of the piano which he always had throughout his career and water.
Thats just for the film His house had 8 bedrooms Yes he loved his cats but claiming he gave them bedrooms was very silly of them When he moved into Garden lodge Joe fanelli his chef and ex and his pa peter moved in with him so thats 3 bedrooms!
I loved the movie, that led me to the Queen's music and Freddie. But when I started to dig myself into the books, interviews, documentaries I learned, that the real Freddie Mercury was very different to the depicted one. I will never undestand why Brian and Roger let to show the fake image of Freddie's, who meant them much more than a band member. Mary dated with Brian before Freddie, but there was no real chemistry between. Yes, the name Queen came from Freddie. Freddie's sister is Kashmira, she is 6 years younger. Rockfield farm is located in the UK, in Wales. Paul Prenter was Freddie's assitant, who became a real nightmare during the years. Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton (Mary) got married in 2018, and divorced in 2023.
I loved this movie and I’m probably in the minority here! But don’t care folks, saw it over 20 times!! Even with its inaccuracies, the movie introduced a new generation to the amazing Queen!🫅🏻 Great music, too! 😂
Thanks so much for this movie review... overall a great movie, although there are some inconsistencies... if I may suggest, watch and review the video "Was It All Worth It" official video, it has an exceptional animation of the creation and collaboration of Queen... where you will notice Freddie comes from a large island off the coast of Africa called Madagascar (now known as Zanzibar)... shortly after he returned from boarding school in India, the country went through a civil war and they fled the country to England since his father worked for the British government... the rest is history... looking forward to the next two parts of your reaction since I have not seen the movie myself... but I have heard a lot about it and really enjoy the actor portrayals... FYI the trucker Freddie followed into the bathroom was none other than Adam Lambert... quite a coincidence, huh?? Thanks again, really loving your channel... blessings. This movie has some good elements, but it has a lot of lies. First of all the band never broke up, also Freddie didn't want to do Live Aid because he thought it would be political but he changed his mind when told it wouldn't be, Freddie wasn't a jerk like they portrayed him he wasn't the trouble maker, Brian and Roger fought all the time, also the band wasn't upset about Freddie doing a solo album, Roger even did back up singing on it. So I was very upset with the movie.
So you do know better than Brian and Rodger what happen? . Brian and Rodger worked with this movie so why would they allow to change their story like that? I think you tell the false.
@@chiasanzes9770 The movie isn't entirely true, Brian said they didn't have full control over the script, so some things are very false, It's Hollywood. Truth is Roger sang back up on Freddie's solo album, and Roger did 3 solo albums before Freddie did, they helped each other. That scene in the movie where Freddie gets hostile with the others about his solo album never happened. Brian and Roger both said Freddie was the glue that kept them together, and also they said Freddie was the one who found ways to calm disputes. Both Brian and Roger admit they fought about everything even the air they breathe, Roger and Brian argued all the time. I personally dislike the movie because of all the falsehoods in it. Once again remember it's just a movie. You should have watched an actual documentary like Days Of Our Lives .
The movie skip some of the time line to the actual event. Tim Staffell, Brian May, Roger Taylor form the band Smile. When Tim Staffell left them to join Humpty Bong. That is when Freddie form Queen with Brian and Roger. Yes that is the movie of Mary Austin. And yes, Freddie has cats in real life. And why Freddie actor look weird is because they had to give him false teeth to match Freddie teeth.
Many of the questions you asked you talked over the movie and those questions were answered if you had taken the time to listen. For instance it was not leaping forward ten years at the beginning of the movie. It was weeks at first then one year after that. They sang locally for that year and then sold the van so they could make their first album which was also a question you had about what album it was they were working on. Many of your questions were answered had you just listened. I didn't bother watching the whole reaction since it was annoying to have you not pay attention and then act like the movie didn't explain things well enough.

Freddie was a cat person, even called them from the road!

Zanzibar is about 3000 miles away from Mumbai (Bombay then). 😁
@@andreakormosnekacso4804 slightly further away when Fred attended school as he didn't fly to and from, took him from memory a couple of days travelling by train and boat
it's part of Africa off the East Coast now part of Tanzania (partly?)
it's in the Indian ocean but 3 000 miles from India

it helps to listen to the dialogue because you are asking questions that are being answered while you are talking.....
I love this movie so much ❤❤❤❤ I saw an interview with Brian and Roger and they had to skip the timeline to fit the movie
Freddie had I think 10 cats and they all had their own bedrooms in his house.

Madagascar is an island much bigger and further south than Zanzibar.

Please react to the Elvis 2020 movie!
Ok as a movie, inaccurate of course.

Agree, love his enthusiasm for Queen but have to leave the reaction-constant questions and talking
There was a good reason for lip sync, believe it or not.
Crap movie that is full of misinformation. (And I don't mean compressing time for the purpose of fitting that many years into a movie.)
Least talking more concentration on the movies you are reacting to
sorry in advance I HATE this film!
I hated your reaction a the movie is wonderful you're not!
