This is about the 6th time I have watched this great presentation. I am senior FF 38 official years and counting on the largest volunteer dept in MA. At 12 years old I watched as 3 victims were pulled from the 2nd floor of a roaring house fire, my dad was on the 2 1/2 cutting off the fire from the stairway. (all died). Last year I drove the engine and stretched the 1st line while the young bucks threw a ladder, scooped the victim from his bedroom and started CPR on the 1st successful fire save I am aware of in our town. In the 45 or so years between these events I have been in on SAVING one hell of a lot of residential and commercial property. Yes the risk benefit is different but if you are not willing to take reasonable risks in an aggressive attack to save property as well as lives you are in the wrong business. Extinguish the dam fires and in most cases the customers will support YOU when it comes to budget, pay or equipment.
Glad you enjoyed it. I saw for years it was "Part 1" & Part 2" so I combined them into one video to make it easier to watch. It's a good message by Ray - who is one of the best.
Not being a firefighting, I still keep coming back to this video and watching it through, sometimes quoting Ray's Four D's in the helmet, as I post the video URL elsewhere.

@@PeterOkeefe54 I put firefighters in an upper category because, unlike human beings, Old Man Fire knows no fear.
