      Doesn’t the amateur Olympia winner automatically qualify for the “open” Olympia. I seem to remember the winner of these contests in recent years being automatically qualified and competing in the pro Olympia. I could be wrong, but if so why compete at the Prague pro??

    One thing we've always got to remember is that stage condition is literally the Mount Everest of bodybuilding, as in, once you get to the top, you cannot stay there or you will die. Krizo looks great. Once he drops the human levels of body fat, dries out, and takes a massive dump, he will be ready to do damage on any stage.

    • @aprayingatheist2378
      @aprayingatheist2378 2 года назад +3

      Only up to a certain point though, even with super supps there's going to be a cap on growth potential.
      And after a certain point more muscle is detrimental to a bodybuilders shapes & lines.
      Big Rami for example had to put growth on the back burner and work on conditioning to become Mr. O

  • @smot2006
    @smot2006 2 года назад +2

    I was watching a bodybuilding podcast earlier and one of the guys made a good point, that at just about 300lbs Nick Walker is still pretty lean, and prob doesn’t have to lose much more than 20-25lbs now before the show. That’ll put him at between 270-280lbs. Let’s say he gets on stage at 270lbs. That’s what, about 15lbs heavier than his stage weight last year? That’s a significant amount of muscle. I’m guessing Nick will be a little bit bigger everywhere, with emphasis on his back I think. We all know he has gnarly conditioning, hopefully he can keep it that way and come in at 100% with the amazing detail that he already has. Should be interesting. Hopefully he’s spending a lot of time really trying to perfect the few poses that he seems to struggle with. He has all the potential in the world and I really hope we see something amazing from him at the O.

      @@done712 Being grandfathered into a situation is when your past accomplishments or qualifications are considered to advance you in a sport or job, despite not having done other prerequisites. I believe that IFBB and IFBB Pro used to be one organization when Krizo started competing so an argument can be made that he be granted Pro status. Some fans are not going to want him granted Pro status or Invited to the Olympia automatically because Krizo is an exciting athlete and they want to see all they can of him competing beforehand. As far as the Arnold cutting divisions, I think you probably hit the nail on the head. It’s a business decision. Most of the womens divisions aside from bikini and wellness don’t bring in that much revenue. Just a fact!
    Also, I could be off base too but I’m thinking Arnold also wants to keep divisions that he himself prefers maybe? He prob just doesn’t enjoy the crazy jacked muscular women as much? I dunno, maybe that has zero to do with it and it comes down to $ and nothing else, but was just a thought I had in my head! Haha

When he was standing next to Mika Sihvonen, it was clear who presented themselves better. If Nick ever wins the olympia with that mid section and veins popping out all around his shins/calf that makes his overall physique look unappealing, then I’m going to give up on bodybuilding videos period. On the personality front though, he seems friendly and interacts successfully online with his fans. Jacked on the other hand? Yes yes yes!!! Amazing. Even Krizow looks like he’ll blow Nick away.

    When everyone’s a mass monster, what it comes down to in the end is aesthetics and proportions.. Nick, sad to say, will probably never win the Olympia as long as there are more aesthetic mass monsters competing.. he’s just too blocky.. Ramy’s proportions are so insane on top of being a mass monster, which is why he’s been winning

    Krizo is a freak beast! He just needs to work on his midsection. There is hardly any detail in there

  • @petertwiss356
    @petertwiss356 2 года назад

    If he can get that back detail and thickness he can win the Olympia. His front and legs are solid.

    my thought about Nick Walker is as he is a shorter stature BB, he will be more complete than the larger stature BBs. we all know it's more difficult to fill out a 6ft 2in frame than a 5ft 7in frame. IMO Nickmjust needs to improve on any of his weaknesses and come shredded!

    Nick needs to work with vacuum pose to make up ground on the midsection... His obliques really pull him down.

    Is anybody surprised by less female divisions? The viewership is very low and having like 6 different ones is highly confusing even to people who know the sport. Less is sometimes more.

    Here’s a wild idea. How about host the Arnold in a city I actually want to go to where it’s cheaper to fly into like Orlando, Atlanta, or some other major metro that has other stuff to do. Ohio is cool in all, but if I’m gonna take the time of work I’d like to take the family and actually do something as well.

    Krizzo still has time to improve. He’ll get the pro card easily but come Mr O he’ll probably look insane. This Mr O is going to be exciting. I’m sure Hunter and Nick will battle it out for positions like last yr. I’m still sticking to my gut about Rami winning his 3rd title. Krizzo will definitely win one soon.

    My concern with Nick is his legs. They are short and I just don't see the detail, shape or cuts. He is a serious competitor and maybe he will fix some things, but I don't see him as Mr Olympia.

    Krizo's side tricep shot looks unreal.
    The proportions are literally cartoonish, and I mean that in a complimentary sense.
    He looks like a bodybuilder ate another bodybuilder.

    Krizo does have potential to win the Olympia, I think he is taking his time refining everything to the level Olympia does things. Being more composed in posing and also bringing up the glutes, lower back. I think if he comes in and gets his pro card, don't think he needs it since he won't all of Elite Pro. He wins Prague and leaves out Olympia and don't rush into it, next year he can take Arnold Ohio and a few other big show and go to Olympia with all the momentum and be fully ready for next year.

Let's not forget, Bonac, Brandon, Ramy, Hadi, Hassan, Marc Hector, Justin, a lot of guys are coming out swinging. This year's Olympia is gonna make conditioning 5x more important than other years.
