Happy birthday! Wonderful gift! I was always told a piano should be on an inside wall, so the sound board doesn’t dry out and crack! If not possible to move, then lay a pan of water inside the bottom for moisture.

Someone shared with me recently something that I never realized and that is that if a person truly chooses their soul mate, and those two people stay together for the entirety of their lives, they end up being with the love of their life for years longer then anyone else in their lives. I played the piano growing up, then stopped when I had children, studied, worked full time & we couldn’t afford a piano while all our kids were busy studying…life!
When we retired, my husband bought me a piano. It’s taken me a year to get back to playing confidently & well (I practice every day), but I love it! It is the best gift ever. Enjoy it Jess xx
