Nobody would test a car without adjusting the seat, steering column etc. to personal preferences so what is the point of testing a television without adjusting the sound and picture to your liking first?
Got a Cello in my back room. Sound is not great but bought a sound bar from them for £50 and its brilliant. Its two years old now and very reliable. Hooked it up to router with ethernet cable. The only grumble I have is it takes a few minutes to set itself up before you can make your selections. Probably processors bit slow and the newer models are probablt quicker. Apart from that its great! Buy British! (even if the components are from the Far East). It was put together in the British factory.
In fairness, the Samsung did look really dark, where as the CELLO looked bright and vibrant, Samsung's are obviously very good tele's, but hey CELLO DID GB proud there for that price.

Bought time i start looking at new teles. Downstairs tele more than 15 year old. 📺 👴🏻
