I kept pushing down the silent button knowing it actually slides
Now I just need to figure out how exactly I slide down on the screen to get those shortcuts like the Wi-Fi, airplane mode, Bluetooth, flashlight, and all that…
It keeps swiping to Notification Center. Then swipe down again it goes to search bar n Siri suggestions…
On the top right of your screen you'll see the battery status... Slide down on the screen with your finger starting on that battery status and that will bring up the screen with your airplane, wifi, volume, light level, etc.

Also if you slide down from the middle then slide from left to right it’ll show the battery percent since there’s no other way of checking(that I know of anyways)

I came here searching about that button that turned to be a silent a button. Why a separate button for that? Is it so hard to silent thephone without it? I'm expecting it to be more than that. Lol. Just my opinion, though.
That’s been there for a while but I think it’s for ease of access as the volume buttons can turn your ringer down and then also turn your volume down.

You missed one. I’m looking for info on the button on the back - the little apple design is a programmable button.

Same boat! I can’t even take screenshots lol but if I’m understanding correctly, not many of the iPhones just shut off. You’d have to slide to power off.

As far as I can tell, the "power" button just turns off the screen, and turns the screen back on when pushed again.
To power off completely, press the "power" button and the volume-down button simultaneously ... Hold both down for a second ... A screen will show up with a "slide to power off" at the top ... Slide that to power off completely.
To power back on, press and hold the "power" button.
If you just push the "power" button by itself, it will turn off your screen...
Either push it again, or tap on your screen to turn screen back on.
I keep hearing reviewers of the 13 pro/pro max say that the buttons (volume & lock) on the 13 pro/pro max are lower than they are on the 12 pro/pro max.
This is certainly not the case with my 13/12 pro max’s. The buttons on my 13 pro max are slightly higher up on the phone than they are on my 12 pro max. What gives?!

I came here to find out why the Samsung Galaxy S20 fe has all three buttons on the RIGHT SIDE!!!! There is nothing for the thumb!!! It is sooooo stupid I thought they HAD to be blindly following the iPhone. But Apple is smarter than that.
I keep shutting off my screen when all I want to do is lower the volume. I may have to sell it, it's so bad.
