All too often society’s expectations makes us feel the mistakes we make are much worse than they are. Mistakes are how we learn, and as Ms. Frizzle once said: “If at first you don’t succeed, find out why.” They are moments where we can understand what went wrong and learn to improve ourselves. As long as you are willing to learn, it’s ok to keep making mistakes. A mistake doesn’t define you or even say anything about who you are, and I’m sick of people acting like it does.
I've been swimming for as long as I can remember, and when this began with the listener swimming way out in the middle of the lake with no friends or flotation device, I thought *that* was the big mistake for a moment. 😅 Seriously though, this was really great. Thanks for the audio, Kat.
