All the other modes work but fm transmits but no receve. I also need to have the radio alignment its off frequency the radio is in great CONDITION love to get it back to factory specs
@@sq6os In Receive MODE, turn selector from SSB to CW to AM and then FM. On FM Receive, the volume should be much much louder. If not, there are two diodes on the RF Board near the small glass bulb used for input protection, D1112 and D1113. One or both are bad. Cut the exposed diode lead one at a time. When the bad one is cut, the volume will then increase. These two diodes were a mod by Yaesu to help protect the front-end diodes from Static Discharges. Both diodes can be replaced by the common 1N4148. A new diode can usually be soldered in series with the cut leads so the pcb does not need to be removed.
It looks stuck in transmit when you turn it on.
