IFR FM/AM 500A - FAULTY
Il mio set di prova radio non funziona più. L'ho acceso dopo un po' di tempo che non lo usavo e sembra morto nelle sue funzioni. Non riceve, non genera alcun segnale e i controlli meccanici sembrano funzionare, ma in realtà nessuna delle funzioni associate è operativa.

Agilent E4406. Problemi di batteria tampone scarica: misurava solo 0,02 Volt. Una tensione così bassa della batteria tampone causava la perdita della data che, se uno è preciso, andava reimpostato tutte le volte che si utilizzava lo strumento. Due palle smisurate.....! La batteria tampone è una BR2325, la classica batteria a bottone.....solo un pò più grossa di un bottone. Per sostituirla vanno...

Dopo aver sbloccato, pulito, oliato il variabile...dopo aver riscaldato un filo sul potenziometro del moltiplicatore, e dopo aver ripristinato l'alberino della frequenza, ho pulito i contatti elettrici, gli switch, spolverato e pulito le varie schede. Parte di apparecchio R&S SMDU. Precisamente parte del generatore di modulazione che presentava il condensatore variabile in aria pressoché bloccato e l'alberino di regolazione rotto. Smontata la parte di strumento, ho provveduto a smontare il variabile e ad ritirarlo con alcool isopropilico. Olá Gilmar. Neste link, torcendo para que funcione, você encontra o serviço onde, porém, só existem diagramas de blocos. Ainda pode ser útil para você. Link: data2.manualslib.com/pdf7/205/20465/2046435-agilent_technologies/e4406a_vsa_series.pdf?07d42a9e47cb135f16582c731ffd7d6a O meu, graças a Deus, não teve outro problema a não ser o da bateria descarregada fazendo com que a data e hora fossem guardadas incorretamente. Pessoalmente, não sou um técnico, mas um simples entusiasta. O que fiz foi seguir os procedimentos de troca de bateria, limpar os contatos do cartão com álcool isopropílico, inserir e retirar os cartões várias vezes e reiniciar o instrumento. Lendo o manual, então, existem procedimentos a serem seguidos após o reparo. Como um simples entusiasta, então, isso me faz pensar que seus instrumentos perderam seus dados de calibração precisamente porque talvez a bateria esgotada tenha criado problemas. Além disso, sugiro que você tente encontrar todas as ferramentas de software em algum lugar da web se simplesmente substituir a bateria não tiver efeito positivo. No youtube, então, se você pesquisar por exemplo "AGILENT E4406A REPAIR" você encontrará muitos vídeos sobre isso; talvez você possa encontrar aquele que pode orientá-lo na solução do problema. Além disso, gostaria de indicar também este grupo onde você pode expor seu problema e onde tem pessoas muito mais técnicas do que eu (que podem te ajudar (groups.io/g/HP-Agilent- equipamento Keysight) Espero ter sido útil :)

@@sq6os In Receive MODE, turn selector from SSB to CW to AM and then FM. On FM Receive, the volume should be much much louder. If not, there are two diodes on the RF Board near the small glass bulb used for input protection, D1112 and D1113. One or both are bad. Cut the exposed diode lead one at a time. When the bad one is cut, the volume will then increase. These two diodes were a mod by Yaesu to help protect the front-end diodes from Static Discharges. Both diodes can be replaced by the common 1N4148. A new diode can usually be soldered in series with the cut leads so the pcb does not need to be removed.

Agilent E4406. Low buffer battery problems: it measured only 0.02 Volt. Such a low voltage of the backup battery caused the loss of the date that, if one is accurate, it had to be reset every time the instrument was used. Two huge balls .....! The backup battery is a BR2325, the classic button battery ..... just a little bigger than a button. To replace it, the right and left handles must be disassembled with a 20 mm torx wrench, remove the 4 rear feet. Once this is done, the lid is literally removed, which is a unique piece. However, it is not over. You have to remove other torx screws, this time 10, which hold the inner shield. Once the screws have been removed, the internal shielding is removed so as to have direct access to the component parts of the whole instrument itself. The two analog and digital cards are then removed by means of special metal levers / clips that facilitate their removal, taking care to disconnect two semi-rigid cables. You have to remove other 10 torx screws that hold the board that houses the connections for the ps2 keyboard and the scsi connection. Then you can remove the scsi card. But that's not all. Also remove the control board of the 4 cooling fans, which is to the left of the analog board. After having prepared the upper part of the instrument, then, you have to remove the screws that hold the CPU board where, in fact, there is the buffer battery. By means of a special hook, a slight force is made to slide out, and the CPU board comes out by walking on special guides housed in the die-casting of the frame. The buffer battery is not welded, it is not used to maintain the calibration data which are instead stored in some memory banks connected to the cpu board. With a pair of tweezers with ceramic tips the old, discharged battery is removed and the new battery is reinstalled. And now you do the reverse procedure, taking care to reposition the CPU board on the guides and reinsert it, paying attention to the centering holes on the plate that houses other connections. Screw the screws back on and 'pull' the right one. Reinstall the ps2 and scsi card, and retighten the screws that hold it to the instrument frame. Reconnect the cooling fan control board, securing it again to a metal clip. Once this is done, the digital and analog cards are reconnected in the appropriate slots, taking care of their insertion with the aid of the respective metal clips. The previously detached semi-rigid cables are reconnected. You reposition the metal screen and screw all the other torx 10. Reinsert the 'shell' lid until the holes in the handles are aligned with their respective breading. Reassemble the rear feet with the relative torx 20, and the handles on the sides of the instrument. Of course, the date will not be updated when it is switched on again, but it will have to be entered again. Once the date has been memorized, once the battery has been changed, it will remain in the memory and updated each time the instrument is switched on and, as is normal, it will not be reinserted every time the instrument is switched on and used. Laborious, delicate procedure, but with passion and a minimum of foresight it is possible to do. Gloves and antistatic bracelet to protect against any static currents that could damage some part, and that's it. And I am satisfied!

Hello🙂 I suppose that your problem is caused by a microprocessor problem. You can try to do an hard reset, and try to power on again. If problem remain, I think the problem is in the microprocessor or in the logical part of the radio. 73 de iz0fvj 🙂

bisogna anche considerare che quel paddle lì non è il massimo, lo paghi poco ma la manipolazione resta un po' "molleggiante"
scomposizioni vero. Il paddle nel video lo avevo appena preso e dovevo ancora prenderci 'confidenza'. È comunque un buon paddle, per iniziare. L'unica cosa è che ci vorrebbero delle molle diverse, almeno per me, un pochino più morbide. Inoltre pensavo di modificarlo mettendogli, al posto dei perni che reggono le 'palette', dei cuscinetti in modo tale da linearizzarne il movimento e renderlo più preciso. Poi, cosa più importante, devo ancora migliorare di molto la mia manipolazione ed il mio cw che presenta ancora molte incertezze. Grazie per il tuo commento ☺
detto in poche parole: bisogna comprare un tasto serio... alla fine, un paddle può essere "a vita", sicuramente molto più longevo delle radio, quindi, se la telegrafia piace, secondo me non vale la pena passare da spese intermedie, piuttosto aspettare qualche mese, accantonare la cifra necessaria per poi acquistare un prodotto serio e definitivo, senza fare nomi, ci sono paddle praticamente perfetti il cui solo limite siamo noi ed alla fine con 300-350 euro te la cavi "a vita"

Hello. I used only the MKIII. My ring in this video cover two band in tx mide: 20m and 40m. This rif gas cw filler switchable by long pressing IF/ATT button. You can chose form 900Hz to 400Hz for cw filter frequency. In rx the rig cover dive band.

Ciao Danilo. Come filtri IR io usavo un vetrino di una maschera da saldatore, una di quelle per capirci che si usano per le saldature con la saldatrice ad arco. Sò che ce ne sono di modelli appositi, ma per l'uso che ne facevo io.....molto minimo......quel vetrino era una mano santa :-) Grazie per avermi scritto!!!! :-)

Ciao Matteo. Grazie, intanto, per avermi scritto. Io questa stazione, che ho avuto, la provai su diverse schede più o meno 'complicate' che avevo. La presi perché dovevo riparare alcune cose mie personali. Devo dirti che mi ci sono trovato bene, fuori che un piccolo problema poi risolto sull'indicazione del piatto riscaldante in ceramica. Ad ogni modo, tornando al tuo quesito, io la provai su un vecchio cellulare Motorola e non ebbi problemi nel dissaldarne alcuni integrati presenti. Su pc, invece non l'ho mai provata. Il grosso dell'utilizzo fu dissaldando tutti i componenti smd presenti su una scheda inverter di un LCD Samsung, per farci pratica. Per quanto riguarda i componenti smd, sono sincero, mi trovo meglio con la stazione ad aria calda, un pò di nastro Kapton, pinzette....e tanta pazienza. Con questa stazione saldande, la T8622 del video, all'inizio ho avuto problemi perché anche impostando una temperatura ad esempio di 100 / 120C°, alcune volte sul circuito mi si creavano delle bolle...si gonfiava lo stampato. Poi, capito il perché(temperatura troppo alta), ho imparato ad impostare una temperatura più bassa così da ridurre la possibilità delle 'bolle' sullo stampato, aumentando l'esposizione ed ottenendo risultati nettamente migliori. Il bello di questa stazione saldante è che concentra il fascio di luce in un punto determinato senza andare ad intaccare le zone circostanti a quella di intervento. Anche se, sinceramente, io spesso intorno a determinate zone un pò di Kapton ce lo mettevo sempre. E' indicata per il reballing dei pc, per le riparazioni dei cellulari, notebook, reballing Play Station, X-Box e altri. Ottimo strumento....anche se io personalmente mi trovo meglio con la stazione ad aria calda. Grazie per avermi scritto :-) Ciao :)

Ciao Roberto. La mia esperienza con questo rtx è stata molto molto positiva. Ottimi filtri, dsp molto buono, filtri contour regolabili. L'accordatore è molto efficiente, forse un pò rumoroso, ma accorda di tutto. Provato in digitale e cw, mi ha lasciato davvero una bella sensazione. Hello. This rig was defected because the previous owner has modified maximum power. This caused the burnt of the transistor marked Q1/3904. I had change the old Q1 with newer, and I had make the procedure of alignment with my test set. Now, the rig is perfect: power is now normal, and it transmit and receive very well. Have fun with HB1A :-) PS: excuse me for my little english :-)

si infatti purtroppo molti dispositivi moderni, per essere più semplici e compatti, sono costruiti con all'interno alimentatori di tipo switching, questo fa si che generino molti disturbi RF. Se poi ci aggiungi il fatto che la tua stessa radio HF è alimentata a sua volta da un alimentatore switching, hai fatto bingo! casino su casino. Infatti gli switching non solo generano rumore, ma sono sensibili anche a riceverlo e ad inoltrarlo...in questo caso nel tuo ricevitore. ciao!
Ciao. Il problema era proprio il decoder dtv della Digiquest. Dopo che lo ho tolto, l'ho aperto per curiosare e di schermature....filtraggi nemmeno l'ombra. E' stato 'cannibalizzato' per recuperare qualche componente. Era, comunque, il decoder che probabilmente irradiava tramite l'impianto elettrico quel fastidioso qrn. Ora è diminuito di molto il disturbo, anche se c'è qualcos'altro che comunque ne crea un pò. Devo armarmi di pazienza e fare la caccia al disturbo. 73 de IZ0FVJ Fabrizio
è colpa dell'alimentatore molto probabilmente, gli switching buttano dentro ogni forma di disturbo che si presenta nella rete elettrica o come campo elettromagnetico nelle vicinanze, "buttalo" e metti uno col trasformatore (tradizionale), fidati! Poi che intendi col dire che deriva dal digitale terrestre? il decoder tv mica trasmette,riceve soltanto! piuttosto sarà l'alimentatore switching del decoder che a sua volta genera RF spurie e vengono immessi nell'icom tramite l'alimentatore di stazione
Ti ringrazio per le informazioni!!! Ti scriverò senz'altro. Da qualche giorno ho visto essere disponibile l' FT 1200 sia da CSYeSon che da Mediaglobe. Hanno pubblicato il prezzo ed è acquistabile. Tuttavia credo sia saggio attendere un periodo di rodaggio, per non rischiare un'epilogo simile a quello dei primi FT2000. A presto e grazie ancora!!! Nel frattempo mi è arrivato il dipolo della Create e non vedo l'ora di provarlo!!! Grazie ancora per tutto, IZ3WZP
