  • When it comes to sim racing pedals the sensible choice is always Heusinkveld, but after being thoroughly impressed by the Simagic Alpha Mini I’ve been running for several months, the rich feature-set, awesome looks, and low price of the P2000 pedal set was too much to resist.
Will it hold up to abuse? Only time will tell, but at least the local distributor i purchased these from has a great warranty policy and Simagic have been quick to act on product improvements.

Long time no see! Still recovering after having our first child, but starting to get some free time late at night.
How's the video and audio quality? Trying to step things up all the time on that front, few more tweaks to make.
And i will get back to FPS games real soon i promise, it's just been a bit easier to jump in and do car stuff recently (aahh, sitting!).

Where have you gone? No uploads for 6 moths?
Simagic p2000s are the best pedals ive used even compared to other 2k dollar pedals.

You can put this controler box into the little metal box to protect against EMI, similar to HE Ultimate+ controler box. Nice video, thx.

Yeah easy enough to build a little faraday cage, but 99% of EMI issues can be mitigated by just using the included ground wire to the rig.
I have my controller box right next to a dayton bst-1 and haven't even had a flicker of interference in my pedals in over a year. It might take using a motion rig to cause any real issue.

Cool unboxing! Those pedals are beautiful :)
How are they doing after those 4 months? Any issues? What would you improve in them?

I haven't had a problem since getting them, installing the pedal plate was a breeze and it's all rock solid. Nothing is scuffed, the carbon heel rest and pedals look like new despite me using shoes.
Only extra adjustment i would like is being able to tilt the pedals, you have to have your pedal plate completely horizontal for these to sit properly. The brake lets you pull the pedal forwards slightly to line it up with the other pedals, but if we had more range to do that on all three it would make the installation more versatile.
I've got a review coming up, but that's the short of it.

Are you happy with these? I am thinking of getting a set myself.

Yeah, they've been working flawlessly. Software is simple, most adjustment is tooless, they're pretty quiet, and you really feel the hydraulics.
Only tricky thing I've had to deal with is the lack of rake adjustment means you have to get a bit creative with rigs designed for tilted pedals.

@@GameCubits I really wanted to get a set of the Tilton hydraulic sim pedals but they are crazy expensive, these look like a much better price to performance proposition. Thanks for making the video and the reply, it helps a lot to make my mind up.

@@LordandGodofRUclips Buy them. You will not be Disappointed. I've had mine since early May and only had a replacement Throttle. If it leaks call or email distributor I was mailed a new Damper within days for free and haven't looked back since.

how have the hydraulics held up after the last little while? seen a few complaints about it leaking that make me feel kinda sussy about pulling the trigger

Mine haven't shed a drop yet, so not sure if the design was fixed or if I'm just the lucky one.
I know some people have had replacement throttle units, simagic seems to be pretty good at fixing things.
