Hi everyone. Sorry, this one is so short. It was put together in a hurry as I am trying to upload at least once or twice a week and trying to manage my main channel as well. It is also probably due to me cutting out the tiktok outro at the end of the videos.
I actually saw this video and was like:
:O “it’s short!!!”
Because my attention span has been s u f f e r i n g lately
Oh its ok, don't hurry too much and take your time.
Btw: i love your compilation videos. ❤️
AMEN TO THE STIMS NOT HAVING TO BE PRETTY, I've noticed that even when I allow myself to stim in public, I'm still masking by only doing stims I think others would consider "acceptable," THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME
I’m sorry to tell you, but that person was faking, that TikTok was in a video calling people out for faking disorders for clout.
Does anyone stim to music? Like you put headphones in so you only hear the music and then move your arms or your legs or ANYTHING just over and over again but the music helps because it’s like you’re in a safe bubble. Especially spinning.
I thought I was the only one!
i tap my feet to the rhythm
I like to mouth the words and move my hands around a lot, not sure if it counts lol
Yeah actually I just completely tired myself out aggressively stimming to PaPaYa...it was a video from a live show and the new sounds were great
I do that I usually spin or pace while waving/moving my arms
I keep binging these and crying.. because I always thought I was broken. I'm not broken?? I'm so okay?? and "normal????" Idk how to handle this news. I've always been okay, it was just the world around me that didn't fit. :(
I want a sensory swing so bad. It’s not even funny
they remind me of those curtain dacing things
@Sigma subs I gotta go beg for one now
I had a sensory swing but it broke... D: but it wasn't like the one in the video, it was a mesh one, so it was kinda uncomfortable
@@nochannelanymore oh man! That sucks /gen
So do I, I use one in when I go to aerial yoga and it’s amazing. I’d buy one but I live in an old house and it wouldn’t be safe to install it here
Something I didn't realize about neurotypical people: If you ask them what they're doing they say what it is, and then ask something along the lines of "do you want to join". Example: the other day I asked what one of my neurotypical friends was playing with during class. He said "it's a fidget toy", then I said "oh cool" and started doing my work. Then he was confused why I didn't take it when he slid it slightly in my direction.
I don't get neurotypicals ಠ_ಠ
its the same with eating food - if Person A is eating something, Person B asking what they are doing or eating is like a 'coded' question that actually means Person B wants to have some. it's seen to neuotypicals as more polite than asking straight up, because it means Person A doesnt have to appear rude by saying 'no you can't have some' if they dont want to share - they can just choose to ignore the subtext in Person B's question!
i was talking about reading books in English with one neurotypical girl from my class and she said she wanted to read some too and I was like yeah you should and went on doing my thing and it took me two days to realize she wanted me to lend her some-
Are you assuming they're neurotypical? Maybe they're undiagnosed.... I mean you yourself said they were in class playing with a fidget spinner...which is obviously a stim toy.
@@JesgateOnDown I see neurotypicals play with fidgets just because they're trendy or something...
@@JesgateOnDown Nah he's very much so neurotypical, but thank you for your concern :] /gen
I would love a sensory swing, but I hate when things swing, that's why a hate hammocks, because I don't have control over where I am going and it is not a straight line, it is like... Wonky, I hate it, I hate it so much.
it’s terrible. you could try tying it to the ground. like just a rope type deal to the floor, so it can only go in a circle
the one about unfinished sentences
I think I'm autistic, I'm not diagnosed. For many years I had special interests but I bored people with them so much I suppressed them all. I feel I lack something huge in my life, as if I had nothing to live for
Having special interests doesn’t make you autistic
Me too
Same.
Same!! I've been trying to get a diagnosis but it's too much hassle lol 😭
I think I have autism but I haven't gotten diagnosed with anything. Plus I'm not sure if getting diagnosed properly will help me with anything. Should I try and get diagnosed?
When i was little i used to stare at the kids with chewables around their necks for hours imagining have one, i still chew the inside of my mouth and wish i had on i always have the urge to chew something and i chewed on some bluetack for a lesson and liked it.. i got sick tho..
Check out teething necklaces made for moms to wear! They make some really cute and fashionable ones. Some don’t even look like teething jewelry if that’s important for you (like with wood beads). Itzy Ritzy makes some great ones.
you should try gum! it can be expensive sure but no one will notice and if you ask your parents (if youre too young) itll be safer than asking for chewelry if theyre ableist or will get mad about chewelry and the taste goes away after a while so you're just chewing on something. try to go for sugar free gum to stay healthy :) im using it as an alternative until i can buy my own
Fun fact for neurotypicals, since I don't see this mentioned often: a lot of autistic people have a monotone cadence or otherwise 'odd' way of speaking when unmasked to neurotypicals, but as an autistic person myself I literally find their speech patterns easier to understand and process than more 'normal' speech patterns
I am not diagnosed but now I'm really thinking about it cause it would explain alot-
also I am getting obsessed with stardew as my friend finally got it for me its so much fun💃✨
Stardew is best
im obsessed with animal crossing 😩😩😩
I'm mostly into FNAF, Resident Evil, Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Legends of Zelda, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Final Fantasy 7, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Tekken, Crash Bandicoot, King of Fighters, Pac Man, Mega Man, Halo, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Galaga, Pokemon, GTA, Fortnite and Minecraft.
I would've liked an earrape warning on the last one
While I do agree that with the usual routines that she does (with a hatred of being late, but still somehow making it to dance practice with enough time to dance a bit), interests, outfit preferences (that usually consist of dresses with banana leaf designs, and more often than not, the red one with white leaves, although she also has a green one with white leaves [as seen in the TV series] and a yellow one with green leaves), lack of filter, and etc, one could claim Lilo to be autistic. However, her weekly routine to give Pudge a peanut butter sandwich every Thursday is more through superstition. As she stated, Pudge controls the weather, and her sister telling her to give Pudge a tuna sandwich instead would've, at least in Lilo's eyes, doomed the entire island with its worst typhoon in millenia.
"Im a sack of potatoes"
XD I died
0:27 this person is wearing a shirt with strawberries in a basket and it reminds me of when I went to a strawberry festival and they had the sweetest strawberries that I have ever tasted, they were delicious :D
My favorite fruit is also stawberries
5:01 his drawings are so beautiful 😍🦁
How... how they...
HOW ARE THEY SO GOOD. I AM CONFUSION.
THE SONG HEARD AT 3:42 IS PINECONES BY BUG HUNTER. I LOVE IT SO MUCH AND I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND LISTENING TO HIS OTHER STUFF. HES SO INSANELY UNDERATED.
edit: it isn’t :/ but still listen to his stuff it’s awesome
UhM AcKtuAlly, its Harness your Hopes by Pavement
Ahaha… I end my sentences with “so” and “but” all the time. I’m not like nurotypical (unsure spelling), it’s just a bad habit, and it annoys me too lol.
0:14 i have percription glasses and the glass part of them turn into sunglasses outside or in a bright room but it does it slowly so you dont notice it at all
1:47 me with ASD, BPD, depression, and anxiety.
5:12, yeah when I paint or draw it's usually nature like trees and plants and stuff, ever since I was little actually
I wish I could breathe underwater so I could stay under longer. One atmosphere of pressure is not enough I need multiple weighted blankets or someone else to feel comfortable
Literally SAME 0:13 I started playing stardew valley a few months ago took a long break, and I’ve played an entire month and a half in the past two days! 😅
2:33 MY FRIEND HAD A SWING LIKE THIS (Not for sensory stuff but just for recreational use) AND I LOVED IT SM AND NOW I KNOW WHY
made my day :)
0:13, i am autistic and i can concur: i fuckin love this game
Does anyone here ever think about why exams marks so important?....... Cuz I don't...and I don't get it why some people would cry over their own exams marks.....is it really important?
It is for people who want to go to college in the future. If they were to fail an exam then they could fail the class and end up having to retake the class or the entire grade depending on the grade you are in. It is also important because it keeps your GPA up which is also useful for getting accepted to college.
@@autistically.autistic oooooooo
@@autistically.autistic but how about the marks that don't involve in exams?......like answers some quizzes online with teachers and stuff?.....some of my friends r sad n saying stuff like they disappointed with the marks they get....and they get sad cuz the marks they get...that really not involve with exams..when they sad about that I'm just don't know what to do cuz for me exams marks and some quizzes marks don't get me upset... And IDC about my marks as long i have done it well..
@@bixxander Some people just expect a lot from themselves in terms of scores. If they make a good score they will feel proud of themselves but when they make low scores then they feel disappointed in themselves. While quiz scores are not as big of a deal as test, it can still cause disappointment when you make low on it, especially if you typically make good on test and quizzes.
@@autistically.autistic oooo... Thank you✨ sorry to take ya time to answer my kinda dumb questions✨✨✨
Lilo has extremely indirect eye contact wtf, how didn't I see it sooner !!!! 😳😳😳
I used to have a sensory swing in a cabin we own but someone broke in and stole it
I like how its video on autism and when I instantly press it I go into a meltdown from loud music I don’t like… nice..
Bro fr. That shit is blasted.
4:21 I do the same thing, but since I watch a lot of RUclips, mostly British men, my default is a soft British accent even though I've left Ohio twice ever in my life.
I get told a lot that I speak like a robot, and I speak very slowly. I watch a lot of RUclips too, and sometimes I start talking in an Australian accent out of nowhere. I've never been outside the US, but I watch A LOT of Orion Kelly 😅
im speculating whether or not i have autism, and i was wondering about diagnosed/pretty positively self diagnosed autistic people, can spontaneity be something that isn’t distressing some days and detrimental on others?
sometimes i feel like i’m too “spontaneous” to be autistic, but maybe i don’t really know what that meaaans??????¿
Yes, it can, a lot of things involving mental health can vary in intensity from day to day. I've noticed that some days I can handle being in loud places and wearing socks just fine, while other days I'll be overwhelmed by something being slightly too loud or my socks will feel like they're stopping blood flow in my feet even though they're nowhere near tight enough for that.
I feel low-key called put abt the stardew valley one
why do so many comps for autistic people have thE MOST AGGRESSIVE AUDIO
The person making it liked the music and forgot other people might not like it? Just a guess.
Me fully stimming to the music for the pencil artist guy
Well now I want a sensory swing
5:29 THIS this this
“You don’t act autistic.” Yeah, because everyone else blames me for stuff I don’t understand and when I say I don’t they say I’m using autism as a crutch
5:41
Why do I relate to the second character a little too much??
To the stardew valley girl.
Y E S
2:33 man that looks so comfy
That last video was me to my friend when I joked all autistic are cats in a human trench coat ( With my roommate also voicing my opinion at the same time xD ), joke of course but yea. Trust me
The girl at 4:36 looks like she's Denzel Washingtons daughter
I always felt like I would be Lilo.
I am eating penut budder
5:04 hurts my ears >·< rip headphone users
as an autistic person, i'm VERY sensitive to loud sounds lmaoooooooooo
so here are 2 4th of july stories (2018 and 2019)
07/04/18: so i was going to see fireworks outside, and they were loud as f*ckin hell (sry for swearing) and i wss having a panic attack and i was like "AHHHHH IT'S TOO LOUD ODHSKUFBDOWHRNJD" and i was covering my ears as tight as possible, and i could NOT imagine actually handiling it lmao (i can handle it now btw!)
07/04/19: my mom got some confetti poping things, and we were going to practice poping them. they were SO LOUD and i kept covering my ears. and my mom just went "it's your autism" and she was right, it was my autism
i see my mom talking about my autism a lot, and one time i was in my room, and i heard a conversation downstairs, and i heard "SHE'S ON THE SPECTRUM SHE DOES NOT LIKE TEXTURES" lmao
anyways, yeaaaa, ty for reading, have a good day/night ♡
I'm austic with speech disorder
No wonder I like Rick from Rick and Morty so much
The only big problem I have with these videos is that a lot of the time you include people who are known to fake having autism :/
I miss the times when having a diagnosis wasn’t something “cute and trendy” *Sigh*
Just curious, who were the ones who are faking having autism?
Which ones are fakers? I am curious.
Lol stardew valley is one of my favorite game too
1:37 im confused
Relatable
3:42 can someone tell me what this song is called?
I am getting a baseline by a neourpschologist (sorry for spelling errors) then if that goes well get tested maybe
Does anyone have the song for that last one
What was the song in the last one called and the one with the pencil art
I think the Lionel Messi thing was a rumor
At 4:17 is that Caitlyn and Leah?
Yes
Question, wasn't Asperger's autism removed as a diagnosis of autism? Asking cause I've heard different things
no hate bc i love ur vids but at 3:12 it features a VERY loud noise and i just wanted to let u know just so maybe u wouldn't include more with loud noises since many people in this comment section are autistic and have sensory issues!
So sorry about that! I did not notice that when editing these together but I will pay more attention in the future!
2:35 she reminds me of grimes
3:15 i really want some proof for these claims because people can say anything online
It's true about Messi, I'm from Argentina :)
does anyone know what the music at the one with pencil drawings is?
If you’re referring to the one at the end, it’s Inside by Bo Bunrham (An edited version)
It's a slowed down and transposed version of the instrumental bit at the end of "Chiquitita" by ABBA.
@@nicoler1183 Thank you sooooo much!!!❤🔥 I needed this info so much!
Does somebody else have a whistle stim? Like, i know alot of peopl who hate when i whistle as a stim. But its just so safe to me and i wanna know if im the only one
5:15 what is this music I want to listen to it more
The commenter @nicoler1183 figured it out, it's "Chiquitita" from ABBA at 4:45
@@WoodlandStrawberry thank you so much
@@Axolautism You're welcome :) It gives me the same feeling as Rush E. First time I heard Rush E was to a DDR short. I hope I can find a loop of just that part of the ABBA song.

5:06 made me feel weird….. i don’t like that they sort of made it about autism. They are an amazing artist because they worked at it like every other artist, not because they are autistic. And this is me saying this as an autistic artist. I would be pretty miffed if someone insinuated that the only reason I’m good at art is because of my autism.
They wouldn't have the same interests, level of focus, ect if they weren't on the spectrum. I don't know a ton about him but Nicole (woman in the swing) is also a super realism artist and paints bugs. The ability to hyper focus on an interest really helps with details
✏
Autism helps but they also put in a ton of work.
I feel like part of oddism (my funny pet name, not meant to offend!) is not caring about people in authority. I don't care which celebrities have autism. Is that just me?
So I live in Canada. And me and my sister and her wife and my mother went to Niagara falls is and it was night and everything was loud and bright i told my mom and she looked annoyed saying how I had two hoods covering my ears we when in side a restaurant and it was not helping but the joking help a bit
Lake Wales
The audio in many parts of this video is too loud & annoyingly poor sound quality.
