Day has the highest winning % of all college coaches. It's an urban legend that coaches get fired for losing to Michigan. Look at Bruce and Cooper their last 2 years. Bruce was 6-4-1, Cooper 14-10 in his last season .500 coaches get fired if they NEVER lose to Michigan

Day inherited a great program. He is a good coach but I don’t know if he is as irreplaceable as Harbaugh. OSU has had a lot of good seasons with many different coaches.
The college game has changed in ten short years. No coach, no matter how good or renown can take over a team and run with the big dogs. Those days are gone. Day is the perfect man for Ohio State.
