    I feel this is one of your best videos. It really hits the nail on the head in dealing with certain MGTOW criticisms, and helped me to bridge the understanding between women leaving men and the concept of love from a woman's perspective. It's not that a female is incapable of having a type of deep connection to a man that we could legitimately call love, in a sense, but that the overall drive for her to reproduce and secure resources just becomes more important in the long run in virtually every case. I'm glad I found this particular video.

      It's only important if a woman wants children and less and less of them do nowadays. A woman who wants a family can't afford to F around waiting for some guy to grow up into a husband. Men are fine with getting ''husband benefits'' for years while only putting in the bare minimum.

    • @OhioDan

      @@TGP109 There are absolutely no "husband benefits," a fact that more men are becoming aware of over time.

    It's uncanny. Your personal experience story with the girl in the South Korea mirrors my own experience exactly. I have no doubt that my last ex actually loved me or at least had very high hopes that she'd get what she wanted from me (her tears could be for either I guess, probably a combination of both). It seemed to break her heart to leave me (even her female friends report that) --- BUT she still did it. I once called her on it and asked the obvious question: "Why are you doing it then?" and her answer was "Because I want a LIFE!!!"
    Hmmm... a life. I HAVE a life, but she apparently doesn't.
    In essence, that's why I am MGTOW - it's not even a choice. It's because the life they want and demand is not the life I want - not at all... It's easier, I think, to become MGTOW if you love your own life, and I always have as (as you have said in many videos) the price I'd have to pay to stay with her simply isn't worth the paying. Frankly, I always thought of myself as pretty fucking cool compared to other men. I'm an artist, I live in a cozy apartment full of stylish 60's decor, art and movie posters. I'm good looking, fun, funny, intelligent and articulate and have tons of hobbies. Women initially generally fall head over heels for me, but it's doomed from the start every time --- I love my life, and what women offered me and wanted from me always seemed like a chronically SHIT DEAL to me. In the case of my last ex, the deal on offer was to give up my ace apartment and buy a typical ugly lego-land house and live in it with her and her annoying brat who was fathered by another guy AND sign a life long contract to that affect (marriage) to support them forever. Why would I? That sucks.
    I literally CAN'T do it because its such a shit deal, and so she has to hit the ejection button and find a guy who will (even if it breaks her heart to do so). Round and round the pattern goes, until you finally get tired of the turmoil that's involved in the process. Sex certainly isn't worth it, no matter how great it is.

    • @janushomer9111
      @janushomer9111 8 месяцев назад

      That's why I think of them as whores. What they really care about, is the money and a man's parental provision when they are 30+ or are a single parent. They can "love" you, but not enough to invest with you, stay with you and try to build a life with you, while seeking a compromise that benefits both of you.
      It has to only benefit her. And like the stripper or hooker only has money as her goal, that's their only goal. They are not even bothered to try offering a fair deal.
      She wants to have a life, paid for by you.

    All removing Traditionalism did was remove the "Act". No more song and dance covering up the transaction taking place. If you as a man want to procreate, you must not only agree to pay for the care of the child, but also give your wife a life of luxury when the child closes in on maturity. Disagree, and she'll take it from you by force.
    Traditionalism covered it up through the illusion of love and through society giving men a collective pat on the head for doing what they're told. Now that women have discarded their role (responsibilities) in traditionalism, while demanding men remain in theirs.. everything becomes black and white, and a man's only choice is to shoulder the yoke and a life of slavery as a husband/father or go it alone.
    Eventually, I think technology will catch up and ease the transition. In many ways, it already has.

    • @blickluke
      @blickluke 8 лет назад +13

      Feminists and women will stridently object and get in the way of this technological catch-up, we are already seeing it with possible routes of artificial womb research being blocked and that TEDx talk on how fucking a sex robot would be rape because it can't consent. If society continues its road of gynocentrism it will be blocked as well as societies inevitably turning more and more socialistic causing working men to bear the workload even more so, trading liberties for "safety". We have to hope the male pill arrives on the scene before it gets any worse

      Very well said. Yet paradoxically in high taxing countries like Norway, where salary achievement is so penalised by higher progressive taxation, the welfare state actually provides fairer divorce settlement outcomes to father's than in countries like USA, Canada and Australia. It's the extreme financial distress that our Gov.t's turns a blind eye too, in consequence to their legislation, that is so galling. Let's call it negative assistance for men. Interestingly, extreme Feminism has not been able to take full hold in Norway either.

It amazes me that I never really thought about these things, that they just confused me for years, though looking back in hindsight it's all so obvious to me now from my interactions with women what was happening. I remember an instance years ago when a woman was just drilling me on what I could do, and she said, paraphrasing, "I'm just trying to find out how useful you are."

    The game is not worth it. I dread seeing other men kill themselves, work themselves to death literally, and in general live a life of turmoil.
    I may not word this right but we should let women suffer the harsh consequences of their actions by not giving them that choice of beta provider male. Sure there shall always be some males that want to play the game but let there be an extreme shortage were most do not have that beta male as option.
    How would they respond with no choices? They can go to "alpha" male but that only results in bad relationship with no resources. They can go to government but government has no options. They can go seek "beta" but they are almost non existent.
    I think forcing extreme shortage of provider is possible. After all we are already part way there. Hell I would even say that even man that could be providers have lost the will and motivation to do so.

    One of your best vids in my opinion brother. Young men pay attention here!
    It's got nothing at all to do with "hate" and it's got nothing to do with NAWALT. Women do what they do. You either give your life to them and become their workhorse or be "the other guy" (or opt out entirely of course).
    Those are our choices and it's no one's fault. There is no one to blame. Just reality and those who can deal with it.
    All the best brothers :-)

    In the end it is all about cold heart cash. Spot on. Good video, and funny thing is I had a very similar experience a few years back. I was in my early 20s, and she was as well. Similar to your situation, we had a deep physical and emotional bond. We had similar interests and got along really well and could converse about anything and have a good time. Ironically like your girl she had a fiance as well. Boring, rigid, whatever word you want to describe him... I suppose he was a typical bluepill brianwashed white collar salary drone who believes in love stories from Disney. Anyways long story short she blew me off and married him, despite her saying she could connect to me much better than him. Heh... it helped that he was an older (30s) , more establish career man. And I admit that I didn't matter as much to her as her fiance, because if I did... logically she would have married me right? Lol, just my experience of course, but from what I've seen, heard, and experienced first hand, it's all about the money. Sadly I doubt her husband even knows about this kind of stuff... will the blue pills ever wake up or continue to live in fantasy land?

    You've cemented my decision to not have children. Even if I really want children, I will suppress the urge. It seems most people believe everyone should reproduce, when it's often out of their selfish desire to be something to the hypothetical child. And the doubt of "oh you'll change your mind one day". I'd like to think I can fight it, but who knows. I couldn't say now.
    Thankfully my family has no desire to continue on our lineage, so I have no stress on my head. Unfortunately for my partner, they aren't so lucky. They are open minded, but I've made it clear that's its not for me. My decision is pretty deep and deeper still, thanks to you.

    Eloquent and enlightening. Reality has a bitter taste especially that I was culturally conditioned to want kids and live in delusion regarding of what men and women are, how they love, etc. Not only I was lied about how women are but how we men are. Some of disinformation are: men are looking for one night stands and not for long term relationships or men are looking for less intelligent women because of insecurity. I thought I was a special case for appreciating intelligence in a woman until I stumbled on a study that concludes that intelligence is one of the criteria for men to select women. Same about long term relationships, men are interested in them very much. I am curious, do women think that they should trick us (or they trick us) in having long term relationship with them?

  • @ivayloi736
    @ivayloi736 8 лет назад +6

    Exactly my thoughs after 30... At 25, I knew already a lot of this stuff, but I was still in the delusion that this is just the "general picture". There is always individualism involved, right, maybe you just didn't have enough luck.... But true individualism is 1) really very rare; 2) almost non-existent in women in such degree which can overtake the biology; 3) How would you really react if you finally find this individual which, you know, you can lose again any time, since it's а physical world, anything can happen 4) at the end - life is short, you get old, and the important question is how do you really want to spend your energy... All women I know, also have this priority - genes, providing, sex, then *sometimes* comes taks/sharing. Young men should really learn exactly what women understand by "love", at least the ones that have this most rare quality called individualism and would not conform into someone's else vision...

    I liked your story about the women asking you about what you did while working at the warehouse. It is so true that the bottom line is that if you want a LTR with a woman you have to be a resource provider. I enjoyed the time one of my classmates in university suddenly became really excited about me when I told her what I was studying and one of my ambitious plans. I could see the $$$ in her eyes. I basically ended up ignoring her after that. I wasn’t that interested in finding a wife or even a girlfriend at that time. For me my time was precious and I couldn’t afford to even give women much time at that period in my life.

      I dated an infertile broad once but it was in our early twenties so I didn't get to see her version of "baby rabies". She was outspoken about not being able to have kids and pushed it like it was an advantage, almost as an admission that she knows men fear the control other women have.
      My best guess would be that it wouldn't change much. She might want to adopt but then you'd be safe from an "oops pregnancy". She'd almost certainly still want marriage which means placing the gun of the state in her hands aimed at your head to use anytime she wants. If such a girl ALSO hated marriage, I'm guessing she'd be so aberrant psychologically that she'd be classified insane!

    I'm a new time subscriber, but surprised that you have to explain that generalization is general and, as a result, not all-encompassing. I mean, I always thought that was the foundation of science; that as we acquire more data, we become better able to generalize on the properties of objects and events so that we can better understand the world we live in.
    I mean, generally chairs are for sitting on. Knowing this, I really don't need to ask if this particular chair is for sitting on.

    Emotional attachment between people outside of family isn't something I'll ever understand. Every relationship outside of family is based on investment of time and energy.
    An extremely loose verbal contract, but still a shaky probability. Sure, I get wanting to get off with a woman, but the concept of an emotional connection between a man and woman or other sexual partner just doesn't doesn't make too much sense.

    I disagree. I think you can engage in a long-term relationship while doing your own thing and not marrying. But to do that you would have to use PUA-style tactics and extrapolate them onto a relationship. If you consistently keep pushing a women's buttons to make her think you are the greatest you can get away with a lot.
    The question of course is whether or not one would wish to play that game.

    No, it pisses me off in fact. Why do we need to make the same movies over and over and over again. This has been addressed thousands of times! Is it so hard to accept? Yes, it is, it seems. What is so difficult about it? Really, we should dig deeper into what makes us tick. Take this clip for example. Why o why is our ego all the time returning to this NAWALT thing? Why do you have to repeat this all the time? If you don't understand after all this time, you just don't WANT to understand.
    Things for what I'm looking for an answer. Maybe you can help in your following clips or when you talk to the professor.
    -Why do females like to get off with males that they perceive as "subhuman" (the BBC). Why do females travel to africa to get laid. Why is it ok to fuck BBC and not perceived as a slut but when she fuck a normal guy she's a slut?
    -Why is the male ego so blind to reality? Even when it's spelled out for them and the proof is given? This clip is an example for this.
    -Why do good marriages happen so much? Why don't they all end in divorce, and why can both partners be happy? Is there some kind of magic formula?
    -What is the real libido limit for humans? I see old ladies of 80y/o in the sexshop, and I see 80y/o men in brothels.
    -Why are MGTOW seeing the "redpill world", and so many other's don't. Is there some kind of special quality? Is this inborn quality or is it learned? I don't see correlations.
    -Do hookers really love their pimps? What makes a pimp/loverboy attractive?
    -How exactly do females perceive love different than men? Is there a way for both parties to get their goals without any loss?
    -If females prime source of happiness is to procreate; is there a way to solve this without pain if you know we live on a planet with very limited resources?
    -Is there some kind of golden ratio of male-females in order to create a society that limits war, murder and conflict?
    -How do politics and economics correlate to the ego and the desire for procreation. Is the left-right diversion just a way to meet ends, or is there something deeper going on
    -....
    Now, THAT are questions we need to think and talk about. I haven't seen the answer yet in manosphere.

    So here is a question about generalisation. You said multiple times that you don't blame women for acting like they do, "it's in their biological interest" or something like that. However, then you say that you don't understand men who want to procreate. Here is the question: why do you think it's normal for women to want to procreate but not for men? Or do you consider yourself an exception, and thus your advice wouldn't really apply for most men? Or do you think both men and women aren't acting in their best interests when they procreate?

    • @dasein9980
      @dasein9980 5 лет назад +1

      If I had to speak for Stardusk, I'd say: Pleasure is the proximal cause; procreation is the ultimate cause. Men have the ability to override their sex drive. Men can override it in terms of negating their pursuit of sexual pleasure or in terms of using contraception.
      Do women really desire to procreate these days? Based on birth rates, not whole lot in any developed nations. There are a plethora of reasons for this that I won't get into. Women also have the ability to override their sex drive or to use contraception. In fact, they have many more options than men.
      I think Stardusk's point is that, knowing what men know, they should avoid procreation. He's not holding their nature against them. He merely sees it as foolish to engage in behaviors that will bring about procreation.
      I admit that I think Stardusk gives men too much credit for their ability to "overcome" biological drives.

    Very nice video Stardusk, just a couple questions. If a “deep” connection can be switched off in favor of pragmatic reproduction at a moments notice, actually how real and deep was the connection? Couldn’t it have been this woman’s hormones simply encouraging her to procreate with you? Were all these common interests and good conversations because she had some male brain wiring and above average IQ?

  • @betun130
    @betun130 6 лет назад

    The story was very illustrative. There was nothing wrong with her decision. It is simply the product of different reproductive urges. That's why, in a traditional society, there would be no relationship without the promise of future children as well as the male bearing responsibility for provision.

  • @zeevwolf13
    @zeevwolf13 4 дня назад

    Two flaws in your story and logic. You make the assumption that the other guy is a lesser man than you because he wanted to marry and have kids. You turned him into a simp when maybe that guy is king warrior magician lover and you fell for the story this woman told you about him and are repeating it here. As with all models and generalities they are based on assumptions and we forget they’re assumptions. The second flaw is time… a deep connection between a man and a woman at a point in time for however long is still is a deep connection between the masculine and feminine. And sometimes it’s just a pump and dump, but that’s on you and is reflective of your character as a man in choosing to chase that.

    Here's a question, to what extant of the population of women are force by their biology to be pragmatic for reproduction? Is it the same proportion for men that fall into the provider role? You mentioned that 99.9% of women operate in the way you have described. One thing I'd like to know what source you found that statistic.
    For another point, when you generalize, what do you mean: the average, the mode, the median? For the sake of argument I would say you refer to the average of women. I would argue that your experiences could misleading. The problem is your situation is not all encompassing, so you have a disproportional amount of women who act as you described in you video. Also what statistician call the distribution ( the "fatness" of a graph) does cause the average to essentially lose useful information which then leads to faulty generalizations/averages.
    Last point, when you talked about the Korean farm hand and his goal to be a provider. I would like to point out that though I believe you are trying to be as accurate as possible; however, this story has gone through two biased minds, yours and your lady friend's. I think your story that she and him never had a deep connection only for procreation is unreliable at best.
