I have two internet connections and need to utilize both over a single WiFi network. Can you recommend the hardware I need to do so? Both internet speeds are gigabit.

The Golf Life thank you for the comment, sorry I just saw your message. You can have 2 internet connections coming into one cradlepoint router and do what’s called load balancing via a round robin algorithm meaning it passes 50% of the band with over each internet connection or you can do what’s called spillover where the router decides the fastest route based on both connections and the overall network utilization. You might wonder how is this any faster their are a few reasons. So just say you have two Internet connections one is 10mbps and one is 15 mbps, the 15mbps might have 2-3 users streaming youtube going out it so the router will split the network capacity over both links. So the other option is called bonding where if you have two DSL connection coming in the ISP can provide a router that does bonding and the ISP has to do special provisioning on the lines and have a special VDSL router for this to actually double your Internet speed. I see this with centurylink customers when customers don’t have but 4-5 mbps down or 1-2 up per modem in rural area. So they purchase 2-4 DSL lines and have 2 bonded connections to each modem then connect each of those modems to 2 of the configured cradlepoint‘s WAN connections. (You have to turn a LAN port into a WAN port search cradlepoint knowledge base articles.) Then we enable load balancing on both WAN connections. But the cradlepoint we use does not do bonding so you can’t technically take 2 Internet connections and double the bandwidth on a Cradlepoint. There are other more complex routers/items you can do with something called Speedfusion VPN tunnel through peplink routers but for this video you can only connect 2 or more WAN or ISP connections either via 2 ethernet cables or 2 cellular modems then enable load balancing. Keep in mind with multiple WAN sources (internet connections) You pick the algorithms which this CP device has 4 options. The 2 i use the most is round robin and spillover. You can Google search Cradlepoint spill over and round robin algorithm and it will give you the definition.
