Just beautiful. So happy that I have found your channel. It’s just what I need. Apart from learning new stitches and patterns I am part of a group at work who are making scarves and hats for the homeless in preparation for winter. It’s heatwave time here at the moment but in a couple of months it will be cold so I have time to make different scarves. I am halfway through the puff stitch one and it is looking terrific. The only criteria that I have to stick to is that I use 100% wool because of fire risk. Thank you for your great tutorials.
That is really cute! I really appreciate you going over the details of which stitch is which in terms of beginning the rows. I always get confused and then my count gets off. I either end up increasing or decreasing😮
I totally understand. To add to the confusion, some crocheters are referring to the second stitch of the row when they say first stitch, totally disregarding the actually first stitch. And if you can’t clearly see where they are entering, it can throw your count off quickly. So that’s why I wanted to highlight that in this video. At least when I say the first stitch, I’m actually referring to the first stitch🤣regardless of whether I crochet into it or skip it🙂
I've not been a granny square lover, but you've convinced me to try this one! Thanks for your easy instruction style. Just what us hysterical types need!
I know what you mean. It's kind of everywhere and is almost cliche when it comes to the type of pattern that all crocheters make when crocheting lol. It's not bad when in scarf form or when altered a bit :)
Hi Atreyu 😊 Thank you again for sharing such a lovely stitch ❤ I have a few crochet patterns that I use specifically for scarves, and this is a new one I will add. Have a great day 🦋🐝🐞
I followed your tutorial for single chain blue scarf and made one for myself. It’s lovely. I love it. Thank you so much 🎉 so excited to follow more. Please post beginner tutorials granny square cardigan.
