I had been ignoring the Chemist perk card until I needed it for crafting--and discovered it doubles the number of chems you craft! Equip it with Super Duper and potentially quadruple the output!
Mr Beerz Chemist doubles the base amount crafted. If Super Duper procs, then it doubles for that crafting event. So, if it procs on Diluted Stimpaks, you get 4 Diluted from the base of Chemist (instead of the normal 2), and Super Duper makes another batch of 4, for a total of 8.
Oh yah random tip, if you need lead, go to the monorail elevator east of watoga and go up top and there are like 10 weights that give you 4 lead each but also there is cement bags so cement at lead
Go to lucky hole mine with excavator arms on theres like 50+ lead ore in there and excavator arms give you 4x the amount 50x4 and with the chemist perk you get 2x the amount when you smelt it and super duper as well.
If you don't have excavator arms or aren't interested in using your perk points to get it, I would just go to the gyms. One is in the fire department, the other is in the motel. If you collect all of the weights and scarp them, you get 120 lead every time. There are also three can chimes that respawn quickly in Sunny Top Ski Lodge. You get 9 lead from each, all you have to do is walk up to the can chime and disarm it.
Excalibur I’m on Ps4, As soon as I look at the Chen box/ first aid kit I hear the Ba-Ding and the perk icon shows up on the screen. On PC it maybe be different.
Endurance is amazing if your a bloodied build, Becuase it increases HP which means when your low your will output more DMG just because of having more HP
I suggest the one that lowers energy ammo weight. Fusion and Plasma cores are included in that. Also Fire Proof. At 3 level Fire Proof you are immune to sonic damage. Which makes the scorchbeast only be able to damage you with radiation or land and physical attacks.
I use the Marsupial Serum (+jump height and +20 carry weight ) so I run Starched Genes (radaway won't remove mutations) and Class Freak (negative affects of mutations are reduced 75%). You can also add Strange in Numbers for insane jumps if everyone one team is running Marsupial.
I ALWAYS slot Super Duper when crafting Mutation serums.... So nice when you hear that "Kaboom" sound meaning you just got a free serum! Also works when crafting Power Armor pieces and handmade rifles to scrap.

That is the one benefit of this perk card system in that I'm always swapping out Bloody mess for Super duper when crafting. Also do the same with Lockpicking cards 👍 Works ok as long as I don't get distracted and forget to swap them back lol

Thanks for the tips, I actually started doing some of these tips at the start of my 1st playthrough. I realized that my hunger and thirst would drop and I would horde PW and dog food and be overincumbered everytime until I had some friends help me out with the basics. I started making soups realizing that they were more beneficial and not wiegh as much
Me too! I have Rifleman and Commando each maxed, a Furious auto handmade with 25% FFR and an Instigating Lever. Most of the time I one shot just about everything with the lever, but for scorchbeast I swap out cards and use the handmade. When the SB lands I take her out with a Furious DCG. Like a cross between Rambo and Wolverine!
You forgot green thumb doubles the amount of flux you gather as well. Aqua boy is good in ways but mine would be a tie between good doggy and Cola Nut. I would say cola nut because at max level with one dromedary you can fill your thirst with one nuka cherry. Not to mention you can drink a nuka dark and get a HUGE strength buff to carry extra weight and nuka cola does not go bad.
Don't forget about the application of Green Thumb in Blast Zones. It'll make getting the raw flux to make stable flux far easier and even if you don't convert all the raw flux, inert flux is a water source comparable to purified water and it weighs less without having to use perks to reduce weight. Also, thank you for the explanation of the Super Duper perk better than most people have. I will be getting it for sure since I've been helping with ammo shortages in the group I run with to include stable flux for ultracite ammo. Also, I've been dabbling in Nuka-Cola usage... I added explosive perks to my rifle build thanks to it...
KaiMacros The super duper is amazing. It’s will even give you a double bulking scrap so be sure to have it on when you are bulking and you can really get a lot of free scrap!!
@@KingFanMan Super Duper does work when bulking scrap? I always thought it didn't because in my hundreds of tries, I have never had it proc. Same goes for alcohol.
Best luck card is scrounger no matter what you find much more shit in ammo crates and locked boxes and the best agility card is a duo action boy and covert operative
This is pretty useful. I will remember this while I am trying to find out how to do a trader kind of build without dieing in 2 second by a bloat fly farting.
I guess my list of 7 would be Super Duper, Ammo Smith, Chemist, Travel Agent, Hard Bargain, Escape Artist, and Starched Genes. Super Duper + Ammo Smith and Super Duper + Chemist will give you all the ammo and chems you need for your builds. And yes, Chemist and Super Duper stack, so you auto double what you make (2 becomes 4) and if SD goes off, you would get 8 for the cost of building 1. Wood Chuck doubles wood gathering, not Green Thumb. I prefer Lead Belly to avoid needless rads at low level from eating and drinking. Good Doggy is good, but so is Cannibal. Heck, Dromedary and Slow Metabolize also work great for dealing with food and drink (you need it less so a little lasts longer), but Rejuvenated might give you the best bang for your buck for low End builds. Every character needs Travel Agent and Hard Bargain, and don't sleep on Field Surgeon (specially om combo with Born Survivor (1 rank)) to keep you alive (for non-bloodied builds that is). Having Armorer, Power Smith, and Fix it Good are just as important as Weapon Artisan IMO. If you are mutated with serums or got lucky with a random low level mutation, Starched Genes and Class Freak are must haves. At low levels, most characters can't deal with Bats and Squaches, so Escape Artist helps you get away (and is a must for stealth commando builds).

I’d have to argue that C, I, and A are not entirely correct. If you’re always playing solo then rad sponge is pointless and a more universally useful perk would be tenderizer or suppresser. If you’re playing a melee only build just replace the second intelligence card with makeshift warrior. Ammosmith is also pointless for melee builds, whom would be well served to put on enforcer here with a shotgun equipped when fighting scorched beasts, but I’d say it’s a toss up between adrenaline and action boy/girl.
Gonna have to rethink my perks. I have 12 on strength because I used the weight reduction perks for every item time possible and of course strong back. I'm stuck now because I didn't know that after 50 you stop being able to add on
The fact that your stacking stims and hs kinda proves your buffs are excessive. I don't have any buffs and never craft them and still find myself drowning in them, I'm selling them on the regular. Also, food-wise, just get the Can Do! perk. I've always got enough food given cans never spoil. A little water farm at your camp and you're golden. I like to play efficiently with aid weight to allow more carry for weapon options, munitions and scrap.
Besides ammo weight, any perk card that reduces weight is a waste. It can be replaced by a card that allows you to deal more damage or offer greater defense. Simple inventory management is all it takes to run without them. There is never a time when you need over 100 stim packs or radaway.
This is all made by the mentality of a hoarder. You can easily keep food water and chems In storage and either drop a tent, or find a near by storage which are near every major marked area in the world.
😂 I am a well known hoarder but early on in the game weight was (and can still be for new players) a major concern. Speaking for one who started with the BETA, weight was the #1 concern. So I say all that to say, I still stand by these perk cards especially for new players. Once you get all your deep pocketed modded armor and other helps then other perk cards will fit in better with your build.

Since Bloody Build is such a popular build Radsponge is an absolute No-No! if you equip it in most groups you will quickly Tick Off your Teammates as Radsponge removes the Rads that keep their health low and so causing their Damage and Protections to vanish! And since you can't get this card until level 44 by that time most people have decided on their build
I was so confused when i started playing the game. Leveling is alot different in 76 than other Fallout games. And I was worried from the beginning i would mess up my points and cards since i didnt know what was possible.
Armor artisan is way more beneficial. Most armor you have to have ballistic scrap for. Ballistic scrap at a vendor is 300+ caps for a ten pack and isn't common in the wild.
@@Oekeali oh please it cost like 12 caps to place your camp and quite frankly you don't need to carry around hundreds of stimpacks or radaway until end game.further there are stash is located here and they're all over throughout the game you really don't even need to place yourcamp a new player and spend the first you know 10 hours of the game probably 5 to 10 hours of the game working around the overseers camp.

Ironclad if No Power Armor Build [I don't like PA] C: Hard Bargain for everyone. You didnt mention Lone Wanderer; not everyone plays on a team. Tenderizer is good too. I: Pharmicist allows higher tier crafting. Demolition Expert: Explosives are very powerful in this game. A: Evasive/Marathoner for no-PA-build Action Boy/Girl is pretty essential. L: Starched Genes, as most people pick a mutation or several after a while. Serendipity is very useful early on. I do understand build makes a big difference, but I seriously think much better cards were overlooked.
Britt Weir If you are still early on you probably want to take a card. The move a point option is for when you make a mistake or when you want to change something in your build.

Sadie Adler Healing salve is used just like a stimpak it just weighs half as much so it is much better to carry around! So when u get injured in anyway the healing salve will fix you!
Except for pvp if you want to run around picking up toothbrushes those cards are ok! I mean green thumb i only use to pick flux no need for carrot soup! Why do you need to carry all that med its everywhere lol.

In endurance you can get a perk that removes rads during the day. I don't use radaway that much anymore. It's so helpful and not many people use it.

Chemists, supa dupa, and extra meat (gives chance for more tick blood). you can stockpile stimpacks pretty darn fast.

Travelling pharmacy + grocer backpack or thru hiker make almost all aid items weightless

Dude add bird bones but get yourself a shielded underarm to negate the negative effect of it and get +1 strength depending on the under armor 👌
Sharing/using rad sponge will get you kicked if the party leader is a bloody build.

@@Oekeali oh please it cost like 12 caps to place your camp and quite frankly you don't need to carry around hundreds of stimpacks or radaway until end game.further there are stash is located here and they're all over throughout the game you really don't even need to place yourcamp a new player and spend the first you know 10 hours of the game probably 5 to 10 hours of the game working around the overseers camp.
Because I have 800 in my stash and 400 stimpaks on me that's why

you can have as many as you level. But your skill points in stats ends at 50. So you can only use so many cards at any given time.

Finding flora in this game is literally the easiest thing. Green thumb isn't even that helpful until you have the recipes to craft higher-tier recipes like Antibiotics.

L: Starched Genes, as most people pick a mutation or several after a while.
Serendipity is very useful early on.
I do understand build makes a big difference, but I seriously think much better cards were overlooked.

Good news with the perk cards is you can change your build completely...you will have a surplus of points later in the game

Britt Weir If you are still early on you probably want to take a card. The move a point option is for when you make a mistake or when you want to change something in your build.

Sadie Adler Healing salve is used just like a stimpak it just weighs half as much so it is much better to carry around! So when u get injured in anyway the healing salve will fix you!
