I am not sure about using underlining with viscose. No there is not a substitute for silk organza as there is no other fiber that can deliver the same results. Organza is not expensive as there are several grades of organza. We sell the less expensive grade for underlining and to make a pressing cloth. Happy Sewing!!
Well, the knit is not heavy enough so I need to do something because I’ve already cut it out so I’m going to use a knit that is light weight but not as stretchy, it’s for a casual jacket, 🙏
