Thank you for another great idea and video! I am going to try this collar stand within the collar to see what the difference in appearance is for a finished shirt. The idea that it helps our facial appearance, giving a "lift" with the higher collar is certainly appealing.

I saw the Islander method years ago. It was eye opening. It's the only method I use now, if at all possible. If I need to baste, I tape or glue. Thanks to Margaret Islander, I hardly ever pin. Thanks for an interesting video. Kay in Dallas, Texas .

The paper patterns great!!!

I was taught to use a tracing wheel and the waxed carbon paper to mark darts. I still have old packages of the paper! The problem with it is that the marks don’t wash out. The paper in stores now is chalk based so it tends to make smudges on the fabric and doesn’t give that precise line. Obviously, the “upside” is that it’s removable. I use my old carbon paper when I’m making a muslin and use the snip and pin mark when sewing the final garment. How do you feel about the inside of a finished garment showing the markings?

I need a 2 - 2.5" adjustment at the high neck - do you think this is a solution for me???

Watching video and no sound here in Southern California

I just watched the Tuesday at Two video and enjoyed it a lot. I have learned so many techniques from you that I didn’t know before. I thought I knew everything because I have been sewing garments for 70 years, but I was very wrong. Thank you for all your information and enjoyment your videos provide.

What type of underling fabric could you use for cotton or linen to prevent wrinkles that doesn't change the cotton/linen and make it dry clean only?

I use my Janome edge-stitch foot and move the needle to the left for edge stitching collars, etc. Helps a lot!

Coincidentally, I have just drafted this very pattern to make a blouse to match a skirt! It has been wonderful to see that I have done it correctly and thank you for creating this video. Such a wealth of great information and am enjoying following along with your methods.
