I’d say down to the individual no doubt their products are top but like you say. Repaint the OEM or pay top money for something that doesn’t brand the name. If it had an authenticity mark be amazing. 👍
Don't let others tell you if it's worth it or not. With that said it shouldn't have been plastic though and should have came with the spoon plak. I would totally get it still lol
I really do wish Spoon would leave their Crane logo somewhere on the valve cover. It would make it that much nicer.
You can buy a OEM replacement for less than 200 and paint it yourself yellow/Red and NO ONE will be able to tell a difference
Gary the die hard spoon fans would be able to tell. I totally get were you are coming from but to some people just knowing the fact that they don't have the real deal just hurts them deep down. If you don't care for the genuine Spoon product and just want the Spoon inspired look then definitely you route is the best way to go.

For the sonic grey I would go og red valve cover all day 👌. The red just makes the grey pop!
I’m going for an oem + build with my fl5 would love to have a wrinkle red valve cover like the good ol b series days. Not sure if I wanna powder coat an oem one or go with the the spoon unit
The spoon red one is pretty nice. The texture would be hard to duplicate. If you look at it close up it doesn't look like powder coat.
@@phothrottle yea I didn’t mean to use powder coat term there lol but I know some places that can do the textured/wrinkle look but I never looks as good as the honda oem finish

Yeah I was very surprised that they ate plastic. Was hoping it was aluminum.
No, $650 for plastic, no way in hell. That recess is obviously there for a self adhesive name plate. The fact one of them had a hose clamp included and the other one didn't would suggest they have a lousy stock control system and they are sending them out with bits missing.

Yellow is way better. Someone 3D printed it in there moms basement and is selling these plastic things for 650. Red is to normal and cliche haha yellow will make it pop under the hood.
Yes I totally agree Huy! The yellow is nice in-person. The red one is textured and will be a dust magnet.
