@@kw5732 A few years ago I would have laughed at your statement. Battery tech is moving so quickly forward. Not my cup of tea, but it would be interesting to see a flying lap in 1.

I'm less than 10 seconds in and this has a thumbs up from me... The v8 choir screaming, that flat gear change, and the shaking hood block covering the air intake... 'shut up and take my upvote!'
Kinda funny to see this weird combination of modern day technology, that is the digital dash and possibly/probably a whole bunch of electronic data logging, inside a dinosaur car. Watching the window frame of the passenger door flex so much from aerodynamic pressure/load that it results in a big gap between it and the A pillar of the car, is a pretty big eye opener.
If V8 Supercars had to lose the sequential gearbox and go back to a muncie ,super t10 or toploader .Most of those guys would throw the towel in ..Well done mate ..
@@multisparesracing4654 How does it do the auto tracking? It looks very professional. Do you have a special mount? The camera seems to pan towards the apex.
But I cannot work out who the sponsor is? Though what first gear do these cars have? Seems about as tall as second, and I am used to close ratio Muncies or T10s where most of those corners and stops would be second gear at the lowest
hahaha LDN. More signs required...Yes we set up the box so 1st is like a 2nd gear. With rolling starts first can be quite tall. Thanks for watching. We just posted a couple of laps from last weekend.
WOW! That engine just sounds insane! And some slick heel-and-toe downshifting, too! Is it running a dog-leg H-pattern box, or is he dropping it into first on a couple of those slower corners?
It's an h pattern, the shifter is never in the neutral position. It appears to be slightly contorted which means it was made to be easier for the driver to reach.
Not sure how many gears this thing has, but it seems like he's using first on most of the corners. If it's a four speed, it's geared very long. As I recall, the A9X had a 2.6 final ratio. That is very tall and would explain it. Anyone clarify this?
Hi Bruce, most TCM cars use 4 speed Nascar boxes. We use a GForce and as the class has rolling starts 1st gear can be more like 2nd. Diff ratios get changed for each track and if you are quick enough can be changed between races if you have enough of them. Reason being when you win a race they take 100rpm off you by changing the chip. cheers
I loved Bathurst, then not now. I haven't watched for decades. Crap. They said they're making it cheaper. Bathurst was like LeMans, multiple classes, a race for everyone, every man. Bath what. Duuuude, can you upload that ReShade-Config? It looks almost real. Also the animations of that game look very realistic. Good work. You should make it less brighter though... just a little bit. It´s so bright that you can´t see the sky.
man i'll never get tired of hearing this.
It does not matter what badge these cars wear they are all awesome
Good old school using a stick and a clutch. Always good to hear it sing at peak revs down Conrod.
Never get tired!!!! That was exhausting.....161 laps he would be knackered
I found myself pressing my foot onto the floor trying to Stop the car after the hairpin! Excellent skills and driving! 👍
Luv the big wide rear view, had one in my ford, xc v8, great driving over the top, keeping the beast in line, Aussie Muscle at its Finest 💪 😃
I was squirming in my seat at every corner and could not believe the downshift to First Gear ! ✌

Electric cars 😂
Fantastic driving and the gear changes sensational ...... fast, no crunching and no riding the clutch
Crunching and riding the clutch?🙄
I don't think it's his first ever time driving a car 🤷
Bloody awesome stuff. The crisp note of a V8 working
The best 2.26 all year. Thanks for posting..
F#%k me ! What a Deadset hoot of a drive ! Felt my arse cheeks squeeze at Forrest's, Chase & Murrays !
Man i’d love to drive this at the mount. So sick
I love this. Real driving really quick.
Love it

Sounds like an angry V8 yeah
Torana bro.

253 with Quadrajet, shaved head, TQ 30 cam, and Genie extractors....goes good and that.
Geez I'd hate to be a valve spring
Better than being a Top Fuel valve spring, at least.
Brilliant , the noise 😍
Wow that was awesome bloody legends.
Had my fingers dug into the armrest!!
Damn, this bloke can really drive. That’s scary fast.
Awesome, class A driving
Peter Brock driving right here! 👌
unreal! my hearts racing
What a fun ride! (And I wasn't even in the car!)
Wow super cool lap.
This is much better than the "Lame half assed slow lap of Bathurst".
Shout out to that gearbox🤩🤩
THAT IS ONE GOOD ENGINE NOTE!
Unreal!
Cant beat the sound of a v8
The old Torana is a bit of a handful there, wins races though 💪🤘🇦🇺
From top of Skyline to the BLCC in 22 seconds. It took me 35 seconds, but that was going the other way, from a standing start!
Pffffttt ... I too have done a 'hot lap' at Bathurst ... 60kph and keeping left all the way.

Great driving using a H pattern gearbox like all the greats before him.

Got a NASCAR engine in this puppy? 5.8L 900hp v8?
