Your point about the fashion statements you make are actually why I like watching you. I couldn't care less what people wear, I want them to be good people who are good at what they do. Both of those seem to apply to you.

Bro first off Qui-Gon / Liam Neeson is the man! I think it's a sick comparison tho if you breakdown the character. For the shorts, f what people say I'd be scared leaving my legs exposed to shinners n such. I hope you know that there's alot of people that look up to you and honestly you seem like a great role model. I like to leave criticism if I think it can provide some insight from a viewers perspective, but some times people are just a- holes.

Embracing fashion is an American thing. From a young age, name brand clothes, make-up, expensive shoes, etc are pushed here.

I really your attitude and aproach to skating,and life in general. Ive picked up skating in many forms over the last few months after a 20 year break and Ive been really appreciating your interactions with braille. Skating has always been doing what you want to have fun while not caring about perceptions outside your own. The whole "style" thing is new to me and while I will agree its enjoyable to watch, I prefer to see someone have fun executing and failing. Always excited to see your next line, have fun and be well🤙

It's funny that people make fun of you for wearing shorts. The only reason i wear pants when skating is to have a layer between skin and pavement when I fall. If I was very good or confident I would exclusively wear T shirts and basketball shorts since I sweat so much lol

I like to answer them with a positive comment back it throws people off and they tend to remove it themselves.
A lot of these comments arent even really hate comments wich is a good thing because if you already have trouble finding comments like this the real, real hate comments must be pretty rare

@@rickyglaser i'm pretty sure the entire reason i started skating the shoes i did in the 90s because they were like 1 of 2-3 models that came out in size 13 back then. i still skate es accel ogs just because they were one of those few models that came out in big sizes when i was growing up.

You can be a pro based on influence over skill these days. So the term "Profesional skateboarding" has changed. Skill is not strictly a factor anymore unfortunately.

(First of all there are different kinds and classes of pro, hell some people are amazing and never go pro)point is You do amazing and unique stuff that pros look at and say it's difficult and awesome and yet these keyboard warriors hate on you(and everyone else)it's just a different world. As someone who grew up in the golden age of skateboarding (mislead youth video era) it makes me cringe so hard to see so many kids obsessing over fashion and their “fit” as if that has anything to do with skateboarding. That ish is corney and the complete antithesis of what skateboarding was back then. When your favorite skate is named “Versace plug” or “Burberry Harry” you’re simply a clown following trends and your clothes are ugly.

How do you know that first one was a hate comment. I mean it could have been but its far from obvious especially when a WR breaking trick is at the center of it. Wait.. you weren't a style skater because you like to have fun skating?... so, you believe skateboarders who value style.. or "style skaters" don't have fun skateboarding? Because that's what it sounded like. Some of the most stylish skaters i know are also the most fun to be around. Sure they might redo their tricks a lot but they are still having fun. Janoski will redo a trick for an hour to get it PERFECT, sure.. but he is all smiles ALL the time fun. Valuing style and fun shouldn't be mentioned together that way imo as they are entirely unrelated. Anyways. this isnt a hate comment. I personally don't have any issues with your style. We can't all have perfect style. Keep doing you. But style doesn't have to effect fun whatsoever

@rickyglaser I have been watching Braille from the start and as an ex circus artist and skater I think you do have a lot of style and flair. I am from Indonesia and went to uni in Australia and love to rock the vans and long hair. I have followed you on Braille from your first appearance and think you are amazing. Haters may hate but anyone who can win the heart of pro snowboarder like @jenisespiteri has to be an outstanding gentleman. Keep rocking it and hope we can shred together one day #ILikeSkate
