I have Never seen a Rockwell Metal Lathe, but i found this Very Interesting because i presume all Lathes with a feed Mechanism like this are Similar, Great Video ..
Thank for the vid, I took mine apart this past weekend as well, had some chips in the base, pressure washed it reassembled with new oil. I did not see any wear I but may have missed it so I will unbolt it and recheck tomorrow. Mine came with a turret installed so it might not had much use of the lead screws
I've got the same lathe in my high school shop, hasn't been touched in 20 years and were firing it up. Everything appears to be good to go except power feed, and after some gumshoeing we've realized we're missing the lever for the clutch - there's just a post with an axial thread hole and two flats on either side. We can machine a new handle, but aren't sure exactly how it assembles to the post. Don't suppose you could shed some light?
I made a video of the adjustment of that handle and other things a while back. I was wondering why you didnt comment there. Its it's because it's not there I never uploaded it. I'll up load it. I think it will show the feed lever good enough to make a copy.

If its wore at at least as bad as mine was you'll know it without taking it apart because you will have excess backlash in the handwheel.
