hey ! i dont know if you guys have ever thought of creating a podcast content but it would be amazing if you did. your voice has the capability of making every one understand what you are talking about and as we are pretty busy medical students and dont always have the opportunity to watch the videos,we would love to see a content like that.
Haven't noticed the youtube 100 000 subs on the wall ever before. No one deserves it more than you !!!! Thank you for all your videos. You are saving our lives. xoxo
I think it would be amazing if you could do PDF files of pre-drawn drawings that you use in the videos so we could follow along and fill them in as we watch your videos!! You could sell them too, I know I would def buy it. I always find myself wishing I had an empty template of your board
Hi!! I am currently in the prereq courses for a nursing program. I am in a nutrition class and needed help with the GI Motility (segmentation and peristalsis). I found Ninja Nerd and OH MY GOODESS.....JUST WHAT I NEED! BUT HOW AMAZING ARE OUR BODIES!!!! I cant tell you all how excited I am to learn all of this through your videos and cant thank you enough! I'll WILL be checking out your membership on your website!! So excited to become a nurse!!!
Very informative video. I am not in the medical field at all but suffer from Bile Acid Malabsorbtion and at least I now know the working of the system a little better. I am 71 and developed this about 10 years ago and have a healthy gall bladder. Just makes me wonder what went awry! You do a great job for even a lay person such as myself to understand.
thank you so much for this, NN team and Zach!! you are all doing great things for medical students around the world! my classmates and i love your content. your videos are perfect before or after reading on these topics. they make so much more sense + the application of correlates are really helpful!!! much love from the philippines 🤍✨
Awesome video as always. I'm curious if you've done a video on Vinculin and Autoimmune diseases? I've recently discovered that I have an autoimmune disease that involves the gut, the antibodies are to vinculin which is a protein involved in the peristalsis of the gut mainly as part of the MMC/ICC involved in helping to clean the gut. This autoimmune disease is thought to be caused by food poisoning. I'd like to better understand this protein as I'm finding it's in more locations than just the gut, like in the heart, in veins, other smooth muscles, etc. I'd also like to better understand autoimmunity, as in why does this occur at all and what exactly does the auto antibodies do to the body. Thank you!
These are amazing videos. Thank u so much for the energy and all the time it takes to make a lecture. I was just wondering If someone could explain whether the strech receptors are found in submucosal layer or the external muscular. One video says one thing the other another
Thank u its really helpful, but I confuse in the peristaltic in mynteric pleuxs we say the ascending fiber send stimulate signal to circular and inhibitory signal to longitudinal muscle so here we say that ascending fiber give stimulate signal to circular and descending fiber give inhibitory signal to longitudinal muscle whats the true 🤦🏽♂️
hey ma boy u got it wrong ascending neurons cause the circular muscle to contract meanwhile the descending cause the longitudinal muscle to contract otherwise love u (no homo ) 12:45
Thank you for this video. Is there any difference between the peristalsis in the small intestine and the peristalsis in the large intestine? in terms of the relaxation/contraction of the circular and longitudinal layers?
After being frustrated reading Guyton Physiology, I went here. I was so happy I went here. Thank God for your life, Ninja Nerd!
I think that book is almost so simple for med students. I don't feel like learning much while studying with it. Does anyone feel the same?

I have one confusion though. Do segmentation and propulsive movements occur simultaneously? If not, then which occurs first and what determines it.
Great work as always. Thank y'all a lot 💕
Could you make one about the defecation reflexes 😭

I guess the drawing was wrong. Inner fibers should be "ascending".
Anyway the video about myenteric plexus is perfect about this topic.
thank you so much you're amazing !! ^-^
Am I goin reach this level of knowledge one day

Can you make a video about causes and treatment of SIBO?!?

I love your videos, just a suggestion that green marker appears so light, sometimes appears invisible, if you could eliminate that. Thank you 💘
