"Astra Lost in Space" is definitly one of my favorite (somewhat recent) Sci-Fi shows out there. The main story is basic yet solid. The flashbacks are what makes it special. They are not simply for the viewer, but the characters pooling their information about the past and learning as a result. They explain things you did not even think to ask, such as how this unusual group came to be and why a lot of the unlikely things happend the way they did. In this age of incomplete Manga/LN adaptations it is also refreshing to see an adaptation that is the complete story with a satisfying conclusion.
Overtake and Deca-Dence mentioned Instant respect Pretty much most shows here are one's I loved or the one's I'm interested in,the only two I never heard was Punchline and IWGP And thanks to you I'm actually sorta interested in Punchline now
short anime: ~ 12 episodes (1 season only) 1. The Soul Taker 2. The Sacred Blacksmith (JP: Seiken no Blacksmith) 3. Rideback 4. Lord Marksman and Vanadis (JP: Madan no Ou to Vanadis) 5. Princess Jellyfish (JP: Kuragehime) 7. Keijo (US: Hip Whip Girl) 8. Jyu Oh Sei: Planet of the Beast King 9. Hundred 10. Highschool of the Dead 13. Devil May Cry (yes, there's an anime of DMC) 14. Cat Planet Cuties / Bombshells from the Sky (JP: Asobi Ni Iku Yo) 15. Ga-Rei: Zero 16. Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai (this is the heavy yuri/lesbian fanservice with female lucifer and other female demon lords, not the popular adventure fantasy anime with meliodias) 17. Prison School 18. Shimoneta (shortened JP title, US title: A boring world where the concept of dirty jokes doesn't exist) 19. Eromanga Sensei 20. Watamote (shortened JP title, US title: no matter how I look at it, it's your guys' fault that I'm not popular) 21. The Ambition of Oda Nobuna (JP: Oda Nobuna no Yabou) 22. Elfen Lied (make sure you type in 'Elven L-IE-D', as 'Elfen L-AI-D' is a hentai) 23. Canaan 24. Grenadier: The Smiling Senshi ------------ really is ~24 episodes long: 11. Hellsing Ultimate (but the episodes are x2 as long: ~46 mins, instead of ~23 mins) ---------- 2nd/more seasons have since come out: 6. Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid 12. Goblin Slayer
I remember watching "Just Because" and I also remember really liking the character of thr girl with the camera. But I don't remember anything about it. Which is strange since I usually remember anime that I enjoy. I think I enjoyed this anime, or at the least I didn't hate it. A rewatch might be needed. Also, it's pronounced Ah-soh-bee Ah-soh-ba-seh I would recommend these underrated single core masterpieces: -Isshuukan Friends (One Week Friends) -Ping Pong the animation -Koi Wa Ameagari No You Ni (Love is like after the rain)
thank you for pointing it out and the recs! i noticed the mispronunciation and corrected myself when i used asobi asobase in another video lol. Ive actually already seen One Week Friends and After the Rain, for one week friends i kind of had the same experience you did with Just Because where honestly i just dont remember it at all, altho tbf i saw it now about 8-9 years ago so it has been a while. i enjoyed after the rain though well and had a phase repeating the op and ed. ping pong the animation has been on my ptw forever and im intrigued to see it one day but there is just so much to out there i still need to binge😭 im only slowly getting back into binging anime like a madman now that im done with uni so the pile has built up quite a bit and im adding a lot more based off of whats being commented
@@stoptalkinglemur you are right. Both of those are pretty alike in how forgettable they are, despite being pretty good stories. I have very fond memories of watching Isshuukan Friends, Baby Steps, and Sabagebu on Sunday mornings.
> koop DE-at coup d'état /koo͞″ dā-tä′/ or koo-day-tah Also, next time you do a video like this, in the corner you should put the season it originally aired in, like Summer '12.
Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions is by far my favorite anime, the art the world building the characters the story all great. It's other medias manga and novel form keep going but god that anime was amazing and only had one season of 12 episodes
i also watched grimgar and enjoyed it! loved the way they portrayed the tone of the show. Only reason its not here is because the adaptation isn’t complete and hoping one day for 2nd season🤞🤞
thanks for pointing it out! i think its youtube’s auto-generated chapters since i dont add them in myself which is a little annoying but ill try to check for their errors in the future

TATAMI GALAXY
One of the greatest works of fiction!!
I will forever consider it underrated until every soul has seen this gem of a show!!

You should add in Cashern sin and Sunday without god, they are really underrated.
