Baseus Wireless Portable Charger Power Bank, 30W PD Fast Charging 10000mAh Magnetic Battery Pack with Built-in USB-C Cable (in&Out) Compatible with Magsafe, iPhone 15 Pro Max/15 Pro/15 Plus/15
This power bank has a 10 AH (10,000 mah) battery capacity, can recharge via USB-C PD at 18 watts, and can provide up to 30 watts of power via the included USB-C cable. It also claims to be able to inductively charge (wireless) at up to 15 watts, but I could not test that feature.
Note, it has a USB-C cable, as well as a USB-C input port, but if you try using both at the same time, both ports limit to 5 volts and a total power of 15-18 watts, so I recommend that you only charge one device at a time, and do NOT charge the power bank while also trying to use the USB-C cable to charge a device. [You MAY be able to re-charge the powerbank via the USB-C cable and also inductively / wireless charge your phone at 15 watts, but I can not test that mode of operation.]
It has a strong magnet that can be used to mount it to any metal surface, or an IPhone with the compatible magsafe pattern.
There are a total of 4 indicator lights. The three blue ones indicate the state of charge of the power bank, and the 4th light lights up orange when it can not find an inductive device to charge.
The powerbank took 43 Wh to recharge from fully discharged, which indicates that the claimed 37 Wh battery (10 AH * 3.7 volts) is the correct specification and it's battery capacity is as advertised.
This power bank is specialized and intended for the iPhone 15, but the USB-C input/output works well for other devices as well, and the magnetic attachment can be useful in some situations just for mounting the power bank to a surface.
Thanks! Great review. I just bought one of these and you answered every question I had about it (like, what do the lights mean? Can you charge the power bank while it's plugged into a phone?) and more after giving up on the minimal documentation that I had to read using my magnifying glass. I can tell you that I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with an Apple clear MagSafe case on it and it attaches quite securely and charges quite well wirelessly. The thing that blows me away though is how friggin' fast it charges when you plug the cable in!
thank you
great analysis, thnk you
