I am writing from Italy, the IC 8751 and the IC8750 limited and improved version because it is not exactly the same as you think, some things have been better taken care of internally, they are top of the line devices and therefore ok with ICOM for these levels, but my dream is the 5000MP hahaha, it is a radio device that still today beats many modern devices, considering its age it is a great quality device especially in reception, ICOM devices of the time did not surpass it, the second receiver is even better than the first, here it is sold around 3000 Euro, 200 Euro more or less depending on the condition, it is snubbed but it is an excellent quality device!
All of this is beautiful, I've had the chance to use HF/VHF/CBs etc devices in my early youth ('90): I am just wondering if there is still traction today for such radio amateur products, which to me still look fascinating. From what I perceive, radio bands today are very much empty...just some thoughts. Great shop!!
I was at the convention when you had the first batch of FTDX5000's and if my memory serves me right, were they around £5,000 ? And the FTDX9000 was around £9k? 73, Martin GW3XJQ
