AMENNNN!!❤
No he not lol
I love the flat look and I’ve been trying to figure out how stylist get the root so flat and this is the key. Thank you so much for posting this and not keeping it a secret like many other people do.
You’re welcome also check out my most recent video it’s even flatter ❤️
Yesss way better to than the rubber band method
tried these yesterday, & they look awesome!!!! Very flat and less tension on the scalp! thank you for this great method!
Girl thank you for making this video. I just started my hair business and was just looking around for different methods of doing hair and this is BY FAR the best thing I've ever seen to get flat roots.
You’re welcome ☺️
Now this stylist understood the assignment! Stunning! 🤩 🥰

Thank you I did my daughters hair and posted it on Instagram everyone is going crazy wand can’t believe it’s my 1st time. Your technique of not adding the crochet to the base/scalp - made it easier to wrap spring twist hair and the natural parts were awesome. U Rock!!
Love this method I will be trying it on my own head it usually takes me two days do a style like this I usually wash/part and braid my hair in one day and then install locs another and I will be trying this method. I love the flat look over the bulky. You did an amazing job on your client and an amazing job showing what to do. ❤️
Thank love also check out my recent up to date video
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463 love this..will definitely be trying..btw how many locs are in the client's hair?
I’ve been pushing back trying crochet locs on myself but this video makes it clear
This looks REALLY good! Thanks for sharing your technique. I’m going to try it next week.
This was probably the most helpful video I’ve come across. Helpful and simple.
Thank you so much was just about to pay someone 200$ for something I can do 🥰
I’m about to try this. My city doesn’t have to many good stylist and I would rather save my money tbh.
So once you loop the crochet loc in are you pulling the braid or the end of the loc through to secure, I cannot tell from the video bc your hand was blocking the view? Best technique and best looking flat results I've seen on here thus far. 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Will you pls answer this or post a short vid that shows what you’re doing? I’ve watched repeatedly and can’t tell.
I'm confused as to why so much hair. So it's the crochet loc and Marley hair installed into the same space right? Pretty style but seems like a lot to do in general.. then can't see like you said.. idk why they move so fast and or block it..
Hello please check out my updated and more detailed video
man that’s so smart because i’m TWA and i did these on my hair, it was so tight and stiff. i took them down 3days later 🤣
RUNNING to the hair store to try this TODAY I love this method thank you for sharing
Definitely would have liked to see you do an entire loc from root to tip
There are a couple of videos that show all of it. I thought I was going to see that here too.
Please check out my updated video it’s more detailed !

Super smart way to do them. Even extends the locs. Thanks 🙏
The music in the back sound like what salon music would sound like in a barbie movie 😩 love the locs btw
Hiiii🎉🎉🎉🎉 never done these my daughter been wanting them so I came across your video and it was easy Peezy. Thank you so much. We were able to accomplish this style beautiful beautiful work.
Awesome !!!!! You’re welcome ☺️
Learn something new daily, thank you 🖤✨
This is too beautiful 🔥❤ may i ask, how long do you take to complete this style?
Thank you 3 hours
Mines came out so fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank you!!
Hey , what did you use to keep the twist hair secured once you reached the end of her natural plat?
Exactly
I need to know
When you said you don’t like when people have two textures of hair I was like Righttttt I thought I was the only one that thought that
Wow!! This is beautiful, I’m gonna try this for the first time 🙌🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I really wanna try this style but I’m scared of damaging or cutting my hair whilst taking the locs out😭. I’d really appreciate it if you could do a take down video . Please & thanks 😂❤️
Definitely going to try this! What did you use to sleek the parts? That doesn't look like regular gel
I love your technique… I’m hooked about to watch your other videos! 😂
Ayeeeee don’t forget to subscribe 😍
I just want to know how many part did u do? Luv ur videos 🫶🏽❤️
I don’t count but i anywhere from 56-65 locs
watching this video , I fell as though I can deff add this to my service list
thank you
You can do it!
Love this!! I’m going to try this method on my locs ❤❤
Most definitely trying these on self and daughter. Thanks for sharing knowledge 💄💋🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for this video.... Definitely a game changer
i love your method the best , so glad you posted this video, i am about to go try this
ouuu she so pretty and you did a great job too
Thank you
For the hair that you wrapped around the loc did you separate it ? If so how many times
Hey I did ur technique today and it really work and even while doing it found a bad way(jamaican voice) to do it (which mean good ☺
Just a question.
Are you not poking the natural in to the sofr lock and just hiding it under the hair that you are wraping over the top ?
They sit lovely and flat and look like they are all ready broken in , unlike even whan you have natural real locks and you just has a maitnaces tighen up with a crochet hook , they will sit up for a few days to a week untill they relax and you will have a sore scalp untill they start to losen off a bit , broken in .
But when you wrap the hair around the braid and loc how does it loc in after Is there any product involved
Hey luv. Can you please make a more detailed video on your method?
Yes ma’am !
Hey love this video!!! Can I know how many packs you used and how many inside the paco
3-4 packs of soft locs and 2 packs of spring twist
Thank you!! I hate the look of the half textured and the rest regular. When I do it myself, I go all the way down with the wrapping hair.
Thanks for this technique ..gonna give it a try.
Did you crochet the hair your wrapping the loc with in the hair to?
Question: Is it better to leave my hair natural or blow-dry it when i do this hairstyle?
Blowing it out if you can is best
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463 thank you
How do you get the hair that you wrapped to stay at the ends? I couldn’t see that part in the video
Let me tellll u!! I love it!!! This method is great! Def doing this for my trip! Thank you!
So cute. I want some but how long does it take and is it short hair friendly like pixie cut short
Hello! What inch spring twist did you use?
So happy I’m finding out how people are getting them to move so freely
Does the piece of hair being wrapped go down to the end of the loc- I couldn’t see where you ended. Is it marley or afro twisting hair?
You just wrap until your braid is covered
The natural parting is so nice !!!! How do u do it 🥺
As you wrap the hair around do you add gel or how do you secure that hair ?
Quick question... Are you wrapping the hair to the ends, or just beneath her braided hair?
Wrap until your hair / client is covered
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463 OK. Thank you. 😊
How Do you twist them all the way down if the hair isn’t long enough? And what hair do you use?
Are u wrapping til the end of hair and what do u use so they won't unravel at the ends?
My daughter wanted butterfly locs but I hate the idea of a style starting OFF messy. These are much prettier.
Wondering, since her hair is already long, if it makes sense to just crochet a shorter extension piece just at the end of her natural braid and just wrap around her own hair, down to the end. (Looking for anything to speed up the process!)
Also wondering, if they start off thinner, can you get more life out of this style by just wrapping another piece at the root after a few weeks
Im yet to try this out .. hopefully soon ! ....yours came out 🔥 ❤
Thank you ! Be sure to check out my updated videos as well 🙏🏾
how long did the whole thing take and where did you get the little pieces of hair that u wrapped around
ahhh ur client is sooo pretttyyy
the girl in the video was so happyyy
What kind of hair you use?
@symone Protective Styles - Hi I enjoyed watching your Video - My daughter sent me this video to try this style on her hair. I wanted to know if you used anything to seal the wrap-around hair? What do you suggest to use to keep the last top layer of hair from unravaling? Also, are we supposed to do a hot water dip set on this style? - Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Hello thanks for watching you can just tie a knot it won’t unravel I also have an updated video as well . No need to dip them either
Hey,so when you do start this are you using the spring twist hair first?
Hey, Is it a reason you did larger in the back?
What hair did you wrap with ?
Spring twist
Please do you flogged the locs all through with the kinky or you stopped at where her natural hair ended
Stopped where her hair ended
The sound on the video went out from the middle to the end and due to the angle of your camera, it was hard to see everything you did. Do you have another video?
hey! i love this method, how would the take down process look?
i have a question when beginning the parting is it just a regular braid or are you plaquing it?
Definitely going to try this technique I’m going to see if it will work with butterfly locs also have u tried it ?
No I have not tried it yet but I will soon
love this! after twisting the hair to cover her natural hair, what did you use to keep the braiding hair in tact with the loc and keep it from unraveling?
Nail glue works
People have been using got to be glue. The yellow spray bottle. You can get it at Walmart. Apparently they spray the part that needs to be mended.
When I use nail glue, it turns white sometimes. Does that happen for you?
where did you attach the spring twist hair? was it at the same spot as the lock or at the root?
Are those twist or braids for her regular hair?
Braid at root then twist
Your client is tooooo cuteeee
How do you keep the locs from untwisting?
when you wrap the strand around the loc does it just stay and for how long?
Hi,what size of spring twist hair do I get for the wrapping part?
8 inches
Great video,They came out so pretty!
What did you do to keep the texture consistent throughout the length of the loc ? Did you wrap with spring twist all the way down?
Thank you a no I just wrapped until her braid was covered
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463 how many inches or spring twist did you get ?
@@lillyst5149 8 inch
This is so neat and beautiful, what state are you in??
Thanks and Dallas
Did you use anything to keep the spring twist hair around the loc or did you just wrap it tightly at the end?
I just tie a small knot
Is it the same hair that is used to wrap the around the top?
Yes
Amazing work Queen❤
Thank you 🙏🏾
i know i’m late on this video, but you said you used one pack of spring twist?
You can use 1 to 2
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463 okay ty, and how many inches was it?

These look amazing abt to try the same method on myself. How many packs of nu loc did you use ?

I totally agree with your first statement... I don't like the different textures butterfly loc and soft loc.
These are so beautiful & neat but now I wanna try them wit this method. It definitely look natural 😍 Good job ms mamas & if you in Chicago let me know so I can book 😩😂
I ordered the hair from your link❤️
Thank you love ❤️
I got some done and I didn’t like them so I immediately took them down and did them myself and I didn’t like how bulky they were at the root so I will use this method this weekend when I reinstall them
I love this I will be definitely trying this on my channel for my next protective style
What kind of hair do you use to wrap braids?
How do you hold the hair at the ends you twisted in to stay in place ?
That’s what I want to know to do it won’t unravel
I'm definitely trying these tonight.
absolutely gorgeous👏🏾👏🏾😍😍
Thank you! 😊
What hair are you using to wrap around the locs?
Spring twist
@@symoneprotectivestyles3463THANK YOU for actually answering the question.
On all these soft loc tutorials no one explains the type of hair they are using and they don't answer questions.
It always looks like they use One pack of Crochet hair (pre-styled w/the loop) and One pack of some kind of loose hair (like Marley hair).
But...Marley hair is too coarse and stiff in my opinion therefore not a *soft* loc , so I needed clarification and couldn't get any ANYWHERE! 😖😮💨
Thank you and big up yourself 💛
@@NellenelleForSure you’re welcome , yes you can use any spring twist hair you like
