Great video. My Outer Limits is my go to ball and I shot my first 300 with it about 3 weeks ago. I believe the Pearl will compliment it well and your comparison shows that. GBR!!!
Thank you! Glad you found me. Some of them (the GB4/GB5 video comes to mind) I get in a lot deeper, but most of them I can play around the second arrow!
I have! I had to do that at our Women's State tournament a couple weeks ago. I really like the DV8 Trouble Maker Pearl for that specifically. It's a pearl so it gets through the dry well, but it's not nearly as jerky off the spot as some pearls (slower, smoother response). So it allowed me to play right up the friction.
Valerie thank you so much for doing this video. That Outer limits pearl looks so good! I just ordered one. I have another request at sometime can you do the new Track Cypher compared to Track Sensor solid? I believe Cypher is M.R.8 solid and Sensor is M.R.6 solid.
The first angle determines when the ball tries to slow down to hook. So the lower the angle, the earlier it will hook/roll. The higher the angle, the further down the lane it starts to hook. So 65 for me is a good spot -- not too early, not too late!
I know by watching Brunsnick bowling on that lane he is always leaving 8 pins. Why? That I can't say. But since the common belief is that the 8 pin is the only true "tap", I'll go with that.
8 pin is what some say the only true 'TAP' in bowling. The ball drives hard, and with the strength of the balls today, the 5 pin gets pushed straight back. I've heard so much about 'splitting the 8/9' but in reality, the 5 should be taking out the 8 pin, not the ball. But, that being said, Nick also leaves a ton of 8 pins on that lane, so it could be the rack.
Since these are asymmetric hybrid and pearl respectively, I would find an asymmetric and symmetric solid and a symmetric either hybrid or pearl to compliment these 2.
Nice review! I have the non pearl version and I have had great success with it. Pearl looks like the better option though.
Thank you! I agree - I LOVED the outer limits....and was pleasantly surprised about the pearl's reaction!

It was my go-to ball last year also! Loved it so much. and I agree, they're nice compliments to each other.
GBR 🥳😉
Liked and subscribed. It's great to see a ball review up 10.....
Thank you! Glad you found me.

Im looking for a ball that I can play on top of the friction with. Right in the dirt. Have you ever done that ? What ball do you use for that?

Pick a few balls of your choice from the Track line and compare. Awesome video comparison, the outer limits is my favorite ball in my bag!
Great suggestion! I see a couple others asking for Track balls, so we will do that soon, thank you!

You know more about those balls than I do 😉 love the suggestion. I'll see what I can do in the next couple weeks!
What does the 65 drilling angle do for you?
The first angle determines when the ball tries to slow down to hook. So the lower the angle, the earlier it will hook/roll. The higher the angle, the further down the lane it starts to hook. So 65 for me is a good spot -- not too early, not too late!
@@bowlwithVALue thanks for the insight
My pleasure. Thanks for the question!

Ahh yea, it does seem pretty common on lane 2! it’s probably the slightest offset 8 pin. Maybe I’ll go with that 😄
Did you adjust the surface on the Pearl?
I did not adjust the surface on either of them- straight out of the box!
8 pin is what some say the only true 'TAP' in bowling. The ball drives hard, and with the strength of the balls today, the 5 pin gets pushed straight back. Ah yes, that makes sense. I think the rack might be off a touch ;) I leave 8 pins all the time, everywhere haha
What balls would work with this fir a 3 to 5 ball arsenal?
Since these are asymmetric hybrid and pearl respectively, I would find an asymmetric and symmetric solid and a symmetric either hybrid or pearl to compliment these 2.
I think definitely the pearl ball was a lot better and you had more room to move 😊🎉😊
I'm with you on that one!
